Overall, the art was fun, but the service was disappointing and communication is severely lacking. It felt like we were a nuisance in being there. We had an appointment last weekend for four of us. When we arrived, we had an extra child and were told that we would be required to pay a 12% gratuity because of the size of our party. I'm unsure what the gratuity would be for. We were shown the policy - it said for parties of 6 and up - which we clarified and she said she miscounted. There was no service offered other than a brief training on how to do the craft. We were not allowed to choose our own colors but were encouraged to pick from the ones that were pre-opened to not be wasteful. When we picked our pieces, we were warned many times that we would be charged if we were wasteful in our usage of the clay - and clearly that is a subjective decision. When asked at the end any advice on getting the clay out of clothing, she said "it doesn't" - which would have been helpful to know at the beginning when you have 3 kids under 10. I asked if they had aprons - and mentioned that it would have been helpful if this doesn't come out of clothes - and she said they do, but it's only available for parties and for an extra fee. Again - communication would have been incredibly helpful up front. At the end, we were cleaning up our station and the employee asked us to put away the four remaining beads that were left on the table. It seemed like an easy way for her to help us get out the door more quickly when she had nothing else to do but sit on her phone. At the end she wrote down the dry times for our pieces - 5 days - which again - would have been helpful to know at the beginning. Lastly - they sold some glass cups that our daughters wanted. One was marked $13, one $15 for the same cup. When we asked - she said they were $15, but there is a deal at 2 for $30. Not sure where the deal is in that - and when we made that comment - she shrugged -clearly annoyed. For a unique art place such as this, where creativity and art should be encouraged - there was a very big missed opportunity in making this a special place - I won't be back. read more

Had my daughter's 10th birthday party there with 6 girls. I couldn't get them to return voicemails when I was trying to book back-to-back sessions. When they finally texted me back they were clueless and rude. When I went to pick up the art after the party they had all our stuff labeled with random dates (other than the date of the event?) and asked me to see a picture to help them find our pieces. Seems like the staff does not want to be there, which isn't great for hosting a fun event with kids. Too bad, it's a nice option to bounce houses, but the customer service is off the charts awful and they are completely disorganized. read more

Customer service from start to finish was extremely disappointing. Upon entry we were completely ignored for quite a while, even though we kindly made eye contact with multiple employees trying to get help. We weren't in a rush so it wasn't a big deal to us initially, however the rest of the night was very dismissive and like that so it was a bummer in that essence. Even though we weren't well educated on the tufting process we had an enjoyable time amongst ourselves. The activity and crafting itself is great! My friend took us here to do some arts and crafts. It was my first time trying something like this is and I loved it! It was such a fun experience to do with friends and I did not know I can be this creative. Upon entering, an employee was sitting at the front and she explained to us the different activities they have available. There is a variety of charms to choose from and some nicer charms are part of the deluxe plan. I chose the single photo frame, and my friends chose the phone chain. It is kind of pricey overall, but I guess it is for the experience. There were a couple times we needed help from an employee, but there was no one around. My friend's chain also broke a few days later, but it was made too loose and then overtightened. Those were my only complaints. Otherwise, this is very fun to do with friends or on a date! Ok, guys! SKIP gym day unless you enjoy that soar feeling lol. We did medium-sized rugs and they took us about 4hrs if not longer! Super fun and super awesome that you can pick any design you want! But, man oh man is this exhausting LMFAO. The employees some not all are very nice! They'll even take over if your arms are tired which is super sweet! Would recommend as a date! Just only thing is you might not get to sit right next to each other): Overall cost for what you get I think it's high but I would still definitely do it again so don't miss out. Stopped by Fuzz Lab a few months ago to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had a really fun time crafting our little rugs. My husband and I took turns working on our Gudetama rug and I think it turned out pretty well! The staff here are super helpful during the tutorial as well as guiding you at the end to fill in gaps to make your rug as fluffy as possible. A really cool spot for crafty friends and a great party idea for people looking for a fun activity to do while celebrating. Food is allowed to be brought inside so we ordered some stuff from Hopdoddy next door and ate while crafting. read more

Came on a Saturday at 1pm I booked an appointment for the small rug. It was packed full of people but they have a lot to do such as making a bracelet or key chain, painting, making a hair clip or even a phone case.There was also the bear paint dipping thing. After you're taught how to use the needle thing for t your rugs you take a seat and it is pre drawn and pick one color at a time and just do your thing. Mines turned out soo cute there was a guy that helped me out sooo much thank goodness for him. I also made a bracelet and it's so cute which I girl helped me out that together too I'll for sure come back! read more

Me personally I am not a craft person, so this was a pretty challenging activity! If you are like me I would suggest visiting during the week to get more one on one attention to ensure your rug comes out perfectly. My daughter and I took a trip to the Fuzz Lab location in Addison after seeing their page on Instagram. It's a very cool concept of different crafting areas within the store. My daughter decided to do the drip bear, and I did the cream clay on an iPhone phone case. The staff was very knowledgeable about the drip bears, and the cream clay and reaching us the steps to do our crafts successfully. My daughter loved the end result of her drip bear, and I was really happy with how my phone case turned out. With the drip bears, they give you the option of up to 3 different colors. But if you decide to do this option just know that you will have to come back within a week to pick it up. With the cream clay, you get two color options and 10 charms to start with. If you need more you have the option to go back as many times as you want to pick more charms. They have a good variety of charms to choose from. I will say it does get busy on the weekends, and space can get limited so if that's an issue I would say to come on a weekday. We had a very fun afternoon for sure. read more

This place is really fun. However, sometimes they take on more than they can. We had reservations and were not tended to until 30 minutes later bc of other walk ins. They're all super nice but not enough employees to customer ratio. Definitely ask if they have what you're gonna do that day, or else you'll be changing plans of what you can do. Don't be surprised if they seat you with another family. Overall, great places just need more organization. read more

The only negative I can say about this place is I'm mad I didn't think of the business model myself! Kids and adults of all ages will have a blast. There's something for everyone, whether it's making a drip bear or using whipped cream clay to decorate a hairbrush or table lamp. But the real star of this venture is making a custom rug using any image of your choosing. And the staff... they're just so wonderful, helpful, and SO friendly. Our girl Yessi has helped us every time - she even finished my daughter's rug for us as we had to run to her cheer practice (make sure you block out at least 2.5-3 hours to make rug.) We've been at least 7 times this summer alone! Great place to take kids when they're bored or a fun date night idea! read more

Today I went with my daughter and niece and we did the whip clay projects. We did the picture frames, hair clips, phone case and mirror. They were sold out of a lot of items because it was a Saturday and spring break was happening. 100% should make an appointment if you are coming on a weekend. The wait wasn't too long but if they have birthday reservations then it may be harder to get a spot. Price wise, I feel like it was a bit expensive but we weren't rushed or anything like it. The hair clips were $10 and you get 3 hair clips. You can pick the colors and the charms. I like that everything is organized by colors. Today we had Brooke assisting us the whole time we were there. She was super kind and very helpful. If there was a color we needed and it wasn't on display she would help us find the one we needed and got us any other supplies we asked for. She checked up on us throughout the whole process and even checked us out. Overall, the girls had fun and we will be back to try the other projects they have available. read more
