I love the patio when the weather is nice. View of the parking lot, but still nice. We sat at a picnic table. Service was great. Attentive, not annoying. I had a blackberry mule that was delicious, but a little sweet. My seasonal salad was just ok. It had dried cranberries, another dried fruit, goat cheese & miso maple dressing. I wish it was tossed instead of ingredients placed on top. It needed more dressing & toppings. I added goat cheese fritters. The salad was $20. I wouldn't order again for that price. read more

Been here a few times and they have yet to impress me with their food or beer. I ordered a full "Baby Hazy" and a fuzzy chicken sandwich, grilled spicy with side of potatoes. The Baby Hazy was meh. We went on a Thursday and found out the drafts were a dollar off for the full. The full comes in a pint glass. The Baby Hazy did not have a lot of flavor that I would expect from a brew pub. The chicken sandwich not a chicken breast that was intact, it was three pieces of chicken on the bun. When I bit into it, the pieces would pull out of the bun, leaving the bread there. I would have liked to have seen a whole chicken breast in one piece. I ordered it spicy and it did not taste spicy at all. The side of potatoes was decent, but it was served with four small potatoes cooked and seasoned in the basket next to the sandwich. When I ordered the potatoes, the server asked if I wanted any dipping sauces. I said no, just plain ketchup. On previous visits, I learned that they charge for the dipping sauces and were not worth the money. When the food came out, I was missing the ketchup. I asked the server for ketchup and he brought out for a small packets of ketchup. I was expecting a tiny cup of ketchup, like the specialty dipping sauces came in. This was a little disappointing, since I had to tear open the ketchup packets and squirt them on a plate or directly on my potatoes. I feel like everything here is a slightly pricey for what it is. This restaurant is good for downtown Highland, but I feel like it wouldn't make it in Valpo. The outdoor patio was nice. The server was friendly, but I'm not sure if I'll be making another trip here. read more

The staff is all really friendly but suffering from the weird post covid phenomena of breweries packed with "beer tenders" who've never waited on customers in a busy bar environment and are now taxed with table service as well. Everyone always looks completely rushed and stressed out even when staff outnumbers costumers. Definitely worth a trip but we've got to get past this weird era of people sitting with empty beers in breweries. Also the pizza is very solid for a brewery. Good crust. A friend of mine has been saying that FUZZYLINE has some of the best food in the region. That's a pretty high bar to say, but FUZZYLINE met the challenge! I stopped in for lunch this week and wow, the food is so good! We started with their weekend special tater tots. It was basically poutine on tots and it was amazing. I had the seasonal salad for lunch and could barely eat half of it. Could have been the tots, but the salad was huge... and delicious. My daughter had the grilled cheese sando and chose to add bourbon apples. OMG, it was basically grilled cheese made with French toast. Ah-mazing! I can't believe I have waited so long to try Fuzzyline! I have heard so many good things from friends and family about their food and drinks and was able to finally try this past weekend on date night. We started with some Pork Katsu Bao Buns. I really enjoyed the crispyness of the chicken and the toppings worked so well. I also had some sparkling white wine which was semi-sweet and not overly dry. For my main, I ordered the Mr. French burger which came with a side of their French onion soup/dip and crispy potatoes. I loved trying a more unique burger and it's on my list for one of the best burgers I've ever had. Their service was great and attentive, and the ambiance is perfect for a casual night out. Food and service very good. We ordered hamburgers and the waitress asked if we wanted ketchup or mayonnaise. We chose ketchup. When we got the bill, we were each charged an extra $1 for the ketchup. It seemed quite tacky to be charged for ketchup and we were not informed it cost extra. It isn't the amount extra we paid, it's more the principle. So the food is great. We've been here 3 times and it's all incredible. From pizzas to goat cheese croquettes to sandwiches and burgers. The only thing they really lack is how to host a group of 8 or more. They have zero experience or ability to host a group like that. And even offering suggestions they just blow you off. They wouldn't allow us to even have 1 more person at the stand up tables. "6 max or no service" is what we were told. Every time we've gone we've given them a chance to host more than 6 and they absolutely don't know how to operate with a group like that. So go visit! Just not with more than 6. It's worth the food but go somewhere else that can handle a larger group if you have it. read more

With this place being so close to me, I had to try it! I came here with my significant other and I was definitely hoping it would be my next favorite place to relax at. We were greeted immediately and told to sit wherever we liked. I wasn't crazy about the layout. It was still kind of quiet, though! We were given a large container of water at the table, so that was excellent. It was refreshing with each serving we were brought! For Beer, I went with a Short 12oz Blueberry Emoji. It was a Sour for $5 and had Blueberries, Blackberries, White Chocolate, Rooibos Tea. This was a great beer to start with and to open my palette. I loved it. The next one I tried was a Short 12oz Cherry Emoji. This one was also a Sour for $5. It had Cherry, Black Walnut, White Chocolate. At first glance, it looked really similar to the Blueberry Emoji. It most definitely didn't taste similar! This was the best beer I've ever had. It flowed right down my mouth. I ended up getting a Tall 16oz not long after and it was just as good! For food, we shared the Brewpub Double Cheeseburger. This had Short Rib Smash Patties, Sharp Cheddar, Savage Sauce, Grilled Onions, Bread and Butter Pickles for 16. We chose Crispy Taters to come with it. We also shared one of Bertha's Sourdough Pizzas. We chose the Veggie. This had Mushrooms, Onion, Bell Pepper, Mozzarella, Provolone, Red Sauce for 15. The food came out pretty fast! The double cheeseburger was a greasy piece of paradise! The cheese and sauce teamed up to enhance the whole cheeseburger. The crispy taters were large and definitely shocked me when I first laid eyes on them. They had an enjoyable taste and I loved how unique they were. The pizza was fantastic! Each veggie on this thing was tasty. This was my favorite food item. The service was prompt throughout my visit. I didn't have any problems. Overall, this spot served me well! Nom nom nom! This is probably close to my 40th different brewery and we absolutely loved this place. Definitely in my top 5. If we lived closer, we'd be back for both the food and beer as regulars. As soon as we stepped foot inside, Candace greeted us from behind the bar with a friendly smile and welcomed us in. I had the "Big Poppa Burger" that was full of delicious flavor; all of the flavors just hit. Very nice, clean, modern decor on the inside that was a bit chilly so bring your hoody. Pleasant surprise. This is in the old building that was Franco's but with a complete makeover! It's bright and clean. I had some rye whiskey and then I had a Shrub Soda. The soda is CBD infused and the apple pie one I drank was just like apple pie. Lastly I has some root beer that my friend shared with me. Tons of food options, my friend had the burger and it looked and smelled fantastic! I had a huge bowl of vegan Brussels sprouts. They are roasted and yummy. Fantastic! The servers make you feel right at home, and the place is cozy, simple and everything you need. They've got board games and things to do and all around a fun place to go with friends. Now the beer is so good. Amazing unique options, made in house. I haven't tried a bad beer yet. And the food was phenomenal! very unassuming but pretty awesome... from afar, i'd guess this place was a walk-up burger joint - no frills decor, clipboarded sheets of wrinkled paper menu, paper plates and fly away plastic cups for apps and water... service was perfection, food was above average and there's board games! right off the bat - the apps selection was not your ordinary nachos, cheese sticks, etc. white bean dip with lightly salted toasted pita and yellow carrots and hush puppies with pimento cheese! delicious! i wish there were more salad options (really - i wish the brunch bowls were also offered for dinner) but my spinach salad was very good and only consisted of fennel (of which i'm not a fan) and raspberries (which aren't my favorite salad topper) but the breadcrumb/cheese and miso dressing brought it to life! my son ordered a pizza (no kids menu for dinner) and the crust was delectable. my grapefruit seltzer finished off all the good eats perfectly. truly a gem and i would visit this place often if i lived closer! read more

I don't want this review to be twisted in anyway, because when I tell you I LOVE fuzzyline, I truly do. Some of the best beers I have had and I can't even begin to describe how good the food really is. I have been coming here since they opened, and always look forward to burger nights, wiener Wednesdays, and all the new brews that are dropped. HOWEVER, tonight my boyfriend and I decided to give "noodle night" a try. Absolutely fantastic food and drinks, once again. We ordered 2 drinks, an app, and 2 entrees. Our bill was $95.00 (just for reference). As my boyfriend and I were finishing up, my brother called and was passing by the area. For back reference, my brother is a recovering addict and is sober, so he chooses not to go into brewery's and such, because of triggers. We were sitting on the patio, and basically finished, THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE AT THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT, so I had my brother stop by to catch up! He has a milkshake with him, and was dropping one off to me for later since we don't live together. For some reason, according to our bald waiter who blamed the "chef" my brother was not allowed to have a milkshake at that table and was scolding us like he needed his ego filled. As members of this community who have truly supported fuzzyline, brought people there, spread the word, and supported y'all, it sickens me that you have the nerve to kick people out essentially. OVER A MILKSHAKE. Just wondering, did your milkshake sales go down ?? Oh ya, you don't even sell them so it truly shouldn't matter. The true point of this, is that by one dumb "rule" or decision this place is loosing regulars. And you will continue to lose regulars. My bill was $95.00. And I always tip above 20%. Not that time. But every time I have ever been to this establishment. I hope that you try to understand your clientele before you run everyone away. You have amazing food, amazing beers, and some amazing bartenders & servers. Sad that one ignorant rule can spoil a "favorite place" for me.
