No. It's just a no from me. There were things on the menu that they were no longer serving. Then there were things on their chalkboard "specials" menu that they were no longer serving. Update your things. The server started out pretty good actually but then we couldn't get her attention for any additional service cuz she was on her phone. I don't think she was intentionally ignoring us but that's slightly how it felt. I ordered the pretzel with cheese. It is exactly what she said it would be. A frozen pretzel thawed and heated. Okay for at home but not for what I paid. But like I said.. she DID state exactly what it was. My husband and son ordered some things as well. Nothing memorable. The onion rings, however, were delicious. Their drinks may be good. None of us are drinkers so I can't really say. They do have a lot for parking. read more

I was craving some good drinks and good food, so I landed at this local spot with my significant other. We seated ourselves, so that was convenient. The environment was casual and pretty quiet. I ordered a WuDuYa Want Me To Do. It was an Apple Cranberry Crumble Sour and I got the 12oz for $7. I also ordered a Peel Out. This was a Pale Ale and I got the 8oz for $4. We ordered the Onion Rings and those were only $6. For my main piece, I got the Wildrose Pub Burger for $12. It was topped with cheddar cheese, red wine onion jam and horseradish aioli. I chose Fries to accompany it. The WuDuYa Want Me To Do was definitely sour, but very good! The Peel Out tasted like a classic drink. It was crispy and enjoyable. I later got another one and it was just as good. The Onion Rings were fantastic and they were even better with the "Oh" ring sauce that it came with! The Wildrose Pub Burger was the best burger I've ever bitten into! Everything about it tasted so right. I feel they perfected this one. The Fries were very good, too! The service was great the entire time. Our server kept up with our table profoundly. I was impressed. Overall, this was a great spot to try. The beer is pretty good, I can never make up my mind so I typically try one of their cocktails. Hubby loves the beer. The service is great and everyone is so nice you think you went to see a friend at work. They have art on the walls that rotates. Local artists. I've seen some pretty cool pieces. So that's a fun look. Today my hubby and I got Chicken baskets. 5 pcs lightly breaded chicken with fries. Really enjoyed our stop here. All the beers we tried were outstanding, my personal favorite was the Theze Nutz peanut butter porter. Unfortunately we had already eaten before we got here, so we only split an order of garlic parm fries which were outstanding. Looking at the menu, I was upset that we couldn't have a full meal here because everything looked and sounded so good. This is a great little brewery. The beer selection was good. I went with the sour on draft and loved it and my grandmother liked the pilsner on draft. I even bought a growler full of the pilsner to take home. At $5 for the growler and $15 for the refill, it's pretty on par with other breweries I've visited. The inside is really cute and clean. The parking lot is big enough for the business. Just everything seems good. Now we'll get to the great part- the food. Oh. My. God. I had the margherita flat bread and was blown away. Is was just as good as what I had in actual Italy. It might have been better. And my grandmother has the potroast grilled cheese and that was equally amazing. Loved it here! Me and my boyfriend came up and had a couple of different beers and got to try some samples as well. The bartender Sara took great care of us and was absolutely hilarious! She was the true highlight of our visit! The selection was fantastic, there were so many things that we haven't seen at other breweries that we've traveled to around the country. The artwork on the walls seemed to be commission based and we thought that was pretty cool. The overall atmosphere was super welcoming and the locals were happy to start a conversation and recommend things for us to try around the area. Out of our trips this was one of the best breweries that we've stopped by to try. I even had to make a yelp account to talk about it lol! Definitely worth a visit 10/10!! read more

You'll find this place situated in one of those aluminum warehouses that are randomly dispersed throughout the area. I grew up seeing these all over and it's cool to see one of them turned into a brewery. I was interested to try it after I heard about it. Unfortunately, the brewery industry has become saturated and unless you have topnotch quality beers it's tough to compete. I tried virtually everything they had on tap and nothing really resonated with me. I ended up having either a black or rye IPA that was decent. We ended up congregating in the corner with the couches, which was a nice touch to an otherwise cold feeling place. This is a fairly big space so it's safe to say you won't be waiting around for a seat. There is also a lady who makes food and the Polish is to die for - pretty fantastic! There is definitely opportunity and potential here but they have a way to go to compete with some of the big dogs in the area like Three Floyds or Lagunitas. read more

Today I had time to actually get to sit and somewhat mingle and enjoy the place rather than just be in a rush to get to my next destination and I will say it was even better than the first time around. Even though this place is nicer than most upscale places in downtown Chicago it has the most down to earth patrons and owners! I started off trying a few different types of pale ales and ended up drinking a very wonderful Ciderboys Pineapple tonight. The other day it was a mimosa! I was very impressed with not only the creaminess of the s'morey polvich, but also the citrusy finish of the big sexy. I was completely in love with (it's so hard to say it without laughing) theze nutz. It was very nutty(like the name suggests) and had a very earthy roundness. I could go on and on for days about the brew. But I am most definitely a foodie! If your not so much a drinker, they make a perfectly good house root beer that is non alcoholic to go with an array of different types of menu items. From friggin awesome tacos on Tuesday(like tonight), to the ever wonderful Cuban that was so filling I took half home with me! Everything that came out looked so dang good I wanted to try a bit of everything. With the prices being so incredibly reasonable, I probably could have. This place doesn't have a 5 page menu, but what I've learned over the years is the places that do, usually make one or 2 good items and the rest are eh.... well this place isn't one of those places. Everything they bring out with make you over eat. I don't care what diet you are on! Then you're gonna want to try some of your neighbors! Look I could go on and on and on about everything. The bathrooms are cleaner than most peoples homes I've been to. Then they are very very very sanitary! You guys know me always watching. These guys are so awesome that I took my eyes off of them and actually enjoyed myself for once!!! I have found my new spot! My husband and I have been with this brewery from the very beginning, so it's been amazing to see where it's come from to where it's now at. The owners are beyond wonderful and always treat us like family. The inside offers a cool design and open concept which many other breweries don't have. The outside is so much fun in nice weather! I don't drink beer, that's my husband's job, nor do I tend to drink any alcohol but hands down my favorite moscato is from WR. I have to get a glass every time we come. The food is phenomenal, definitely a progression in the right direction over the years. We now live north of Indianapolis so we can't come here as often, but when we're in town this is our go-to brewery! read more

I get recommendations from the bartender about what food items to order. The buffalo chicken dip tasted absolutely bizarre. The sandwich I had was mediocre, but the fries they served with the sandwich were lukewarm at best and certainly were cold and I was halfway through them. For my fellow Chicagoans. Stick to the appetizers. They have a small food menu but it's a brewery so the review doesn't reflect the food. I had the prickly pear Moscow mule, which was delicious but was served in a glass cup, why! My friend, the beer drinker ended up ordering a cider because the menu did not list all available 'beer'. Once you look up at the bar, which is not visible from all angles you can see available choices that are offered. They did a good job with separating the tables for social distancing. Love the beers - 5 stars! Food... last time I was here the kitchen did not belong to the brewery and served hot dogs and other boring fare. It also smelled greasy. Hopefully Wildrose will upgrade the kitchen. The pub is in a pole-barn like building and LOUD! I like the layout but try to avoid evenings when the sound overwhelms.
