Looking for something new and different to do on Black Friday we took…read morethe Holiday lights tour this year. We have a tremendous driver, he was a lot of fun and really made the night. The tour goes the Christkindlmarket market at Wrigley and then the zoolights at Lincoln park zoo. I wish we got to see more lights around the city, but I don't know how that would work. It was allot of fun anyway. we got to spend a good amount of time at each stop. In between on the drive our driver told some great stores, some history and sang Christmas carols. A fun thing to do even if your not a tourist but a local like us. Make be a new family tradition.

Shane took us to a wine trail in Geneva and he was so patient and accommodating. We had emailed other companies that offer tours but I found Shane to be the nicest person and also very prompt in his responses. The prices are also very reasonable. I know during this pandemic we are worried about sanitation and social distancing. Shane's transportation was very clean and Shane had a mask on the whole time. We also made sure we had our mask on throughout the ride and tour. Geneva is this small little town and there is so much to do there. Lots of shopping, restaurants, chocolate shops, and of course wine. Shane did all his research and it was nice because some of the tasting rooms and the winery were expecting us. It was a personal experience. We had so much fun, we both didn't want to leave. The weather was just perfect. I cant wait to plan our next private tour. Thank you Shane for everything. This will definitely go down in our books as one of the most memorable moments. You made our celebration one of the best. We will see you soon with our friends.

I was on party bus duty for my daughter's recent high school dance. I priced out a few companies…read morewith party buses and 312 Limo was the most reasonable price. To be honest it was still a little expensive considering they were driving from Wilmette to Northfield to Glencoe, but less than the other: $840 for a 3 hour minimum for a party bus of 28. We also didn't need it for the entire 3 hours, but the options I found were either one way or 3-4 hour minimums so this was the best deal. I found their communication to be stellar both via email and text. The bus driver was on time and the kids had no trouble locating the party bus when they came out of the dance and I've heard it was one of many party busses. A few of my daughter's friends hopped on for the way home and commented that this bus was way nicer than the one they took to the dance from another company. Overall, it was a success. The parents could have easily driven these kids ourselves, but the party bus elevated the experience and the kids all seemed to enjoy the VIP treatment.

After researching local companies, I decided to go with The 312 Limo, and everything was an exceptional experience. After setting up a quote online, I was able to reserve the date and put down a deposit. All the policies were clearly explained and the communication was in a very timely manner. Since the limo was a surprise for my parents, I was able to note that when making the reservation, as well as select the stops and approximate timing for the day. I received confirmation reminders prior to the reservation. When the big day arrived, I received a text from Harris letting us know that he was down the street. He wanted to be sure that he didn't arrive too early and spoil the surprise. I was able to let him know how the timing was going, and he was ready with the door open as my parents came outside. They were so surprised that it didn't really sink in until they got inside and saw how incredible everything looked. There were waters and sodas with ice for us, and Harris had set the air at the perfect temperature. The ride to lunch was so smooth. Even in horrible Lake Shore Drive traffic, Harris navigated through the turns like a pro. He opened the doors for us and we agreed to communicate when we had 10-15 minutes of lunch remaining. Although getting our bill for lunch took longer than expected, Harris was so patient and had the limo ready when we finally made it downstairs. From there, we made a quick stop for photos at the church where my parents were married and then headed back home. Harris was absolutely outstanding for the whole afternoon and made the trip flawless. I will definitely be using The 312 Limo if I ever need a ride for a special occasion in the future. My parents are still gushing about how lovely it was, and it made the end to their 50th wedding anniversary celebrations truly memorable!

He helped everyone on and off the bus, held doors open (even in the pouring rain) handled everyone's luggage, even holding our carry ons so they wouldn't get wet on the pavement. We had music and movies playing and Jimmy even tolerated our singing! There is something I would request from the company ...for long trips such as ours, you need to have cup holders and trays installed!! Plus your seats are not meant for long distance trips. They were pretty uncomfortable. My 5 stars that I gave your company goes to our driver Jimmy!

Driver Didn't say anything just sat on his phone while he "waited" for mechanic. It took 3 hours for a mechanic to come and the guy didn't even fix it then we waited an hour for a replacement bus. We were celebrating a 40th birthday and started planning a little late. After submitting some of my info and details of what we were looking for, Chris reached out right away. He made the entire planning process painless and was an incredible help with suggestions and recommendations. I knew from the start things were going to work out well. We settled on the wine tour consisting of 3 wineries and lunch at a brewery, as well as transportation to and from each of our stops including pick up and drop off at our home! The day before our reservation I heard from our driver, Mark. Just this simple act settled some of my nerves. I was stressing leading up this about things going awry. What if our driver didn't show up? What if bookings were messed up since I booked last minute? You name it, I thought it. Mark confirmed our schedule for the day and we were set. The day of the reservation he showed up early to pick us up and start our day. We had less than perfect weather yet Mark kept us on time for each of our stops. Not only did he take care of us getting to and from each winery, he also provided us with a charcuterie tray, mimosas, and homemade cookies. He was also able to educate us and give us fun facts about each place we stopped. Mark was better than any personal assistant - it was like we've known him forever! Not a detail was left untouched. We had the BEST day celebrating thanks to Mark and South Shore Brew Bus! We are looking forward to booking a brew tour this summer!

To start, Mark seemed friendly enough--he offered to take photos at each stop and gave us the rundown of the day. He mentioned that he had "seen it all," from wild bachelorette parties to loud groups, and reassured us that nothing we did would surprise him. Even with that, something about the vibe felt a bit off from the beginning. The girls in our group tried to include him in little moments and keep things light, but as the day went on, his energy felt stranger and more uncomfortable. The real issue happened at our last stop. Instead of Mark taking our photo like he had at every other winery (where he took multiple vertical and horizontal shots each time), I asked a random woman to do it. Right as she was about to snap the picture, Mark walked up quickly, told her he'd handle it, and took the phone from her. When one of my friends politely asked him to make sure the sign was in the background--just like he had done all day--he reacted rudely and visibly annoyed. He took only two rushed photos and handed the phone back without a word. Our entire group exchanged looks because the shift in his demeanor was so sudden and uncomfortable. Then, on the ride home, the situation escalated. Mark kept flooring the gas repeatedly, something he had never done during the previous six drives between wineries. Despite previously priding himself on being a safe driver, none of us felt safe at all. It completely ruined the end of our trip and made every woman on the bus uneasy--especially concerning given that we were a group of drinking adults trusting him to get us home safely. After we arrived back, one friend calmly addressed her concerns to him. Instead of apologizing, he got defensive. He eventually admitted he "overreacted" and said he was offended that she asked him to get the sign in the background because he's "been doing this for six years and knows how to take a photo." It was bizarre behavior, and at that point we simply tipped him and asked him to leave because he was making everyone extremely uncomfortable. Overall, our day started off great but ended on a very unsettling note. For a service that's supposed to provide a fun, relaxed, and safe experience--especially for groups of women--I can't recommend South Shore Brew Bus based on this encounter. I would strongly consider booking with a different tour company.

Stefan and his staff worked tirelessly to return my glasses, bringing them to Fed Ex for shipment and then following up when the glasses were sent to the wrong address.
