We got out and saw the sign on the door at the old building that they moved. So glad we got out the car and saw the new address and we went to check it out! We LOVED THE VIBE! Reminds me of downtown Las Vegas where I used to live. It's a cool spot! The staff, Michelle and Greg were so awesome! We enjoyed hearing some downtown Hammond history. The smash burger? OMG! I followed that up with Melodious Maibock and ordered the CBG burger with fries. I didn't have lunch so I dove right in and forgot to snap a photo. It was a very good smash burger. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. It paired so well with the burger. You get green bell pepper on the nose and a hint of it on the palate. When you swallow you get a little heat at the back of the throat. It was so good! Great bar. Great food. Great beer. Go check them out!

There's also food like smash burgers which is cool looking. Basic looking strip mall with this in the middle of it. It's got a bar area which is where we had a sit. There's also a few tables. A kitchen is in the back. They send food through a window. Beers are the main thing to get of course. It's about $7 a pint. Best we tried was the Bounced Czech. This is a Czech style Pilsner. It's about $5 to get appetizers. We got the Brussels Sprouts. About the healthiest thing you can get. There's a few offerings at lunch including a kids menu. For sure it's rare for a brewery. It's open daily even later. There's also enough room for parties.

Very strange and disappointing experience for my first time here…read more My friend made a surprise reservation for her boyfriend's birthday, 12 people in total. While we were trying to order drinks, the manager came over because the waitress thought one of my friend's ID "didn't look right". Now his ID is from Illinois, but he then presented MULTIPLE other forms of identification. We were then told that they would not serve him. When my friend and I tried to order drinks, the waitress took a long look at both of our IDs, asked what drinks we wanted, then walked away. When she returned, the manager came with her and we were informed that we would not be served. I am 27 years old and have never had an issue with my ID. My friend is 24 and presented his passport card and FOID card. My 23 year old friend was denied because the waitress claimed she went to school with her, even though she had no idea who she was. I WISH I could have tried the food and drinks for myself, but I was denied the privilege.
