Went with a group from work today. Guac was good but that's all I have to write about. Oh, the Mexican rice was good. I didn't care for the chicken fajitas, store bought flour tortillas or beer soaked beans. (I can't remember their real name.) The chips are just ok but it might help if they laid off the Mexican salt. It was overkill. I tried the queso and did NOT like it and I'm a queso freak. Came here a late lunch. I had the taco platter and a bowl of soup. It's quick serve where you have to order your food and then go pick it up. I'm not a fan of this because there is still an expectation that you tip even though you get minimal service. Back to the food.. the cilantro rice was good and a nice surprise. Ordered breakfast tacos here for the first time today. Tina waited on me and was so very nice and pleasant. Ordered two bacon, potato, egg and cheese tacos along with a potato, egg and cheese taco. Had a cup of some of the best tasting pecan coffee I have ever had while I waited. I then noticed the sopapilla bites on the menu.... Asked Tina if it was too early to get some to go and she said she would be glad to make some for me... Will admit that the bacon, potato, egg and cheese tacos were a bit more greasy that I normally like. However after the first bite all was good. Very tasty. The hot sauce that came with the order was very good as well. And yes the sopapilla bites were the perfect finishing touch for breakfast :) My first visit but definitely not my last. My family came to eat last night and we ordered a bean taco for our 6 year old, with nothing else on it but bean. We went up to the cooking line to ask them to fix the problem, the manager jumped on it. Not only did he fix the taco, he gave her two. This made her so happy. When we were leaving we had her to tell him thank you . He went out of his way to tell her thank you and even went and got her and my son churros. This gave them the biggest smile. I'm not the biggest fan but I know that so I'll be as unbiased as possible. I only ever come here because my wife likes the chips and queso and I like to keep her happy. The atmosphere is quite during the lunch hours and it's never too busy. The floor plan is spacious so you don't have to bump into people while going to and from the table. It's also clean everytime we come in. The service is pretty blah. Sometimes you get a quasi friendly cashier and sometimes you dont. The cooks always seem to be having a good time and you can hear that throughout the restaurant. During the times I have to come here I always stick to the spicy pork quesadilla. It's hard to screw that up and I've found if I order anything else it seems to confuse the place and take forever to get the food. My wife always gets the shredded Baja taco and I guess she likes it just fine cause we keep comin back. I'm not a big fan of the queso. Something always seems off about it. I'm in the minority on that one for sure. Overall it isn't terrible. It's just you're average taco shop. I wouldn't tell people not to go. I prefer little hole in the wall joints with authentic food. Needless to say I'm not really into tex-mex all that much but if YOU are, then you could probably get your taco fill here. read more

Toilets are ALWAYS clogged. Shrimp tempura tacos are good. Service is average; biggest knock is they act like their pitchers are gold plated. Patio can be fun. This place definitely has upside. However, if there is a chance you might have to use the restroom, I'd stay away. read more

I was very upset with the way this fuzzys tasted and presented itself. We ordered margaritas and they were awful, tasted extremely gross and you couldn't taste any flavor that you ask for. We were one of the first people to order but one of the last to get our food. It took forever to get the food and still tasted cold and not good at all. I usually dont write reviews but this is bad enough that I will. My husband and I came and ate at your establishment around 4 today. He got a sandwich and I got a burrito. He never ate anything else. He has been violently sick for the past 2 hours and I dont see it ending soon. As awful as that is you're lucky its not me. I'm 4.5 months pregnant. Last night my friends and I went to Fuzzys for some food and drinks. We ordered Vegas bombs from the bartender and she served it with Kentucky Deluxe and charged me $22 for 3 shots. Vegas bombs are made with crown. I asked the manager what Vegas bombs were made with here and he said "Crown, peach schnapps, Red Bull" (I only asked because I wanted to make sure just in case the drinks were made differently here) I proceeded to tell the manager what had happened and told him that had the shots been made with Crown, $22 was definitely worth it. But that I could buy a bottle of KD with $16 so I didn't understand why 3 shots of KD were $22. He apologized and said he would give us vouchers to come back- never saw him again. We've ordered twice with Door Dash. Both times the restaurant was very slow, the food was not warm and was poorly packaged. The second order was incorrect and took almost 2 hours to prepare. We got smaller drink sizes than we ordered and they completely left off one combo meal. I felt very bad for our delivery driver as he had to wait over 90 minutes for our order which ended up being wrong. My husband had to go up there to pick up the meal they left off -but charged us for. When he got there it was completely unorganized and no one knew what they were doing. The people preparing food were wearing their masks incorrectly (not covering their nose). It was chaotic inside and they had half orders sitting everywhere. read more

Wow..I'm shocked this place only has 3 stars, because it is SO good. They have a wide variety of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and ginormous salads. I actually get cravings for this place and always want to go when I'm in Lubbock. Their veggie tacos on corn tortillas are only about a 110 calories per My Fitness Pal and they are amazing! The garlic sauce that comes on them is oh so tasty! Chips and queso are also so good AND they have churros! In my personal opinion the tacos here are better then Torchy's. Also a great place to grab drinks and watch games. read more

Had the worst experience ever here today we get there and there aren't many people there so we figured it would be fast to get our food. Boy were we wrong after 20 minutes my husband went up and checked cause people who ordered after us were getting their food. Great tacos and atmosphere. Took my family here for Taco Tuesday. The shredded brisket and ground beef are good eating.

In on a Wednesday afternoon. Very slow. Had a Coors original bottle, acceptably cold and cashier was very pleasant. Received my Baja fish tempura taco and Baja shredded beef taco. Beef was ok but barely warm. Fish tempura was mush and basically inedible. While seated, a girl that works here walked by and asked "Everything ok here?" and kept on walking. I was trying to tell her that the fish taco sucked but she didn't care about her job or the taco. My daughter warned me ( she was with me but declined to order) but I didn't listen.
