Not sure how I haven't reviewed Fuzzy's yet! My first experience with Fuzzy's was during my college days in Stillwater, and it's still one of my favorite stops, despite the fact that I can get it at home in OKC now. It's quick, cheap and delicious - perfect for a college town. I love the flavored margaritas, and I don't think I've had any food from the menu I didn't like. The queso is some of my favorite that I've had, and the nachos are also great (and perfect to share because they are HUGE). I've also had tacos, burritos, salads, quesadillas...it's all good. Great place for casual, fast, quality experience. Great system of ordering, robust menu, plenty of drinks. Plenty of seating, even during rush hours. Parking is a bit of a mess sometimes, but overall this is the best place to eat on the strip. read more

Fuzzy's is pretty good, but there is a much better Mexican restaurant across the street (El Bto Vaquero) if you want something more authentic. Fuzzy's is less authentic, but everything is still tasty - I think it's better than a lot of the Tex-Mex across town, but that's my personal preference. My only real issues with Fuzzy's are the loudness of the music (which gives it kind of a bar feel where you have trouble following a conversation - kinda weird for lunch on a weekday) and the fact that their food is too salty. I blame this on their use of feta cheese in everything (which is very odd for a taco place) and their use of "garlic sauce." I would skip one of those two ingredients, if not both, if you don't want to feel dehydrated when you're done with your meal. Or, you could do what I usually do and just go across the street to El Bto Vaquero. read more

I've been to Fuzzy's a couple times already, and haven't had any problems before yesterday. The food is always good and reasonably priced. But in my latest visit, the food tasted fine when I ate it, but something was clearly wrong. I had extreme stomach pain, and then later threw up my entire meal. It was the only meal I ate that day, leading me to believe I got food poisoning. I know mistakes happen, but this was bad. I love Fuzzy's. I mean I went there 3 times last week!! I think it has a great atmosphere and some great tacos. I've liked all of the different tacos I have had there, but I normally get shredded chicken and shredded spicy pork. Now, I don't know what it is about the mix-mex rice and refried beans, but both of them are amazing!! I know it's just rice and beans, but still it's like the best I've had. Pretty righteous tacos and the queso is the chronic. Bathrooms so clean you can eat off the floor (someone was last time I was there). This is one of the places that is packed on game day for OSU. The food is Tex-Mex and awesome. It always comes out of the kitchen fast and hot. The staff is well versed in getting you and your group in and out in an efficient manner. It's conveniently located next to the campus.
