The Kitchen screwed up one of our orders at the Stillwater location... The man kindly let the waitress know and wanted a reorder... Which happens every now and again.. The reviews about service almost steered me away but I wanted to avoid a "comfort food" breakfast to comply with my eating regimen. My experience at 8AM was really good. I could tell they just had a rush because several tables needed to be bussed. One server told me she had been the only one serving but had just gotten some help. She wasn't complaining - just answered a question. I am on WW Blue plan so eggs are free and ham is low point, so a Western Omelette fit the bill with fruit on the side. The cheese will up the points. It was delivered quickly, hot and well prepared. 2 servers teamed up to be sure I had great service and a continuously ample coffee cup. The place filled up again by 8:40AM. I had a good experience. Most of the service complaints were at the months during the DemPanic and when the fool Feds are paying people more to stay home. People do what they are paid to do so many entry level jobs are hard to fill. Came for Sunday brunch. Service was very poor. After half an hour, we had to re-order. We waited another half hour for our food and learned that the kitchen lost our ticket. It then took an additional half an hour to get our food. When the food was finally brought out, two entrees were wrong. Over the hour and half, drinks were never refilled and we had to ask for a coffee refill. Extremely poor service, I will not be returning. My boyfriends meal stated it came with a side but he was also charged extra for that. They didn't seem too busy but the waitress did seem upset from the beginning. Overall I was disappointed. I like big bold flavors and they just weren't in our meals. My husband had a breakfast with fried potatoes, they had the skins on, which normally we don't mind. Today however they were gritty like they had not been washed properly. Not sure why, but that's how they treated. Also his gravy almost tasted like they were running low so they added milk or water to make what they had on hand go farther until more was made. My meal was dry. Very, very dry. Normally when you cook sausage there is moisture, not today. I would go out on a limb and say that they sausage crumbles were pre-made, frozen and then reheated. That's the only way I can imagine my meal being this dry. I had to add ketchup. Not bad flavors, but not prominent either. I am not going to say don't go here, but I will say I will think twice before coming back. read more

I last reviewed this Jimmy's Egg location in 2016 ... now it's 2020. Earlier, this was the worst JE location in Oklahoma. Completely mis-managed, worthless and unhelpful wait staff, just a rotten experience. And on a couple of visits the pancakes were still raw! I am very HAPPY to say that by late 2018 they finally hired a manager who had his/her act together and adequately trained the staff. Now it is a totally opposite experience. The wait staff are friendly, fast and efficient. The food is great, the cooks know what they're doing, and it is a great place in Stillwater for breakfast ... and we do not have very many, so it's nice to have a good experience. read more

We had a horrible experience at Jimmy's Egg in Stillwater. We went with a group of 6 people. The wait wasn't too long considering a 6 top. The service was awful. A few of us ordered coffee, but had to ask multiple times before we could get coffee cups. Then we were brought cups, but no coffee. Our waitress would continually say she ran out because she had poured all the coffee in that pot by the time she got to our table. Our food took over an hour and a half to come out. We asked several time about the food & it seemed like our waitress forgot to put our order in. Once it came she tried to give it to the table next to us, and looked extremely confused when they informed her it was not theirs. She did (sort of) apologize every time she visited our table, "we have been at this since 6:00am, you understand." I hope they can improve their service. read more

Potentially good food... The service is the worst in town. Rude unfriendly and most of all unhappy employees. It looks like they are being forced to work and way understaffed. Management could use some restructuring to bring this place to the top. One server is literally running around as I am writing this bringing food to tables. Food is generally ok. On a recent visit the waitress asked if I wanted my fruit bowl to include sliced strawberries. I figured she asked because there are people that are allergic to strawberries. I said the strawberries were ok and sure enough, my fruit bowl contained about half of a medium strawberry, sliced. I also requested salsa for my omelette. When I was ready to leave my bill had a $0.99 charge for the bit of strawberry and another $0.99 for the salsa which I have never been charged for. I challenged the waitress on the charge for strawberries and she mumbled something about how she thought it was a standard upcharge. She ended up taking the charge for the strawberries off my bill. I don't know when this upcharge stuff started but it's kind of a nasty thing to do to customers and I don't believe I will be returning to Jimmy's Egg. read more

The food is very good but watch your ticket we were handed a ticket for $20.00 that was not ours we told the waitress so she went to get the right one but when she come back she told us that the table be side us got our bill and asked us to pay there's ours was $29.00 we told them they need to refund the others the difference to make it right and we paid our bill $29.00 and left a $5 bill for a tip, looked the next day and they add another $6 on our card talked to manager and what a mess! Visited Jimmys Egg is Stillwater for the first time today. Seemed like a good option for a late breakfast. We seated ourselves as is here. 3 people in our party. The food was average at best, 1 order came out short of bacon AND sausage. Heck the entire meal consisted of eggs, pancakes and meat. So they forgot half the meal. Asked to cancel that part of the order since our Waitress was never seen after we ordered (someone else brought out our order). She had to have a manager fix my ticket, it was kinda inconvenient to her. Well it was inconvenient to us NOT to get bacon like we ordered. We will not be back. Was a regular here several years ago. Went by today tables were not bussed, sat at bar and waited. Finally ordered and noted the wait staff bickering with the cook staff. Not a good sign. My love affair with Jimmy's has faded a bit. The service and setting are still cheerful, but the quality of food is starting to become apparent. For example, the toast is served dry now (big improvement!), but I wish they'd use real butter instead of margarine or oil for everything. Then the pancakes are a little strange: slightly rubbery in texture and slightly chemical in taste. I don't know whether this is the mix they use, or s/thing about the way they're cooked, but not super tasty! I suppose you get what you pay for? read more

I don't know what happened to jimmys egg. As of recent I have seen a rapid decline. This is the second time in a row we have gone and the food took 30 min plus. If it happens once I can understand places have off days but this is now becoming a trend, and it wasn't just us it was the tables around us as well whose food was taking a long time. We had contemplated making breakfast at home but since we had a lot to do thought this would be the quicker option. Needless to say we were wrong. When our food finally arrived one of the plates the pancakes were on was still dirty, had old food still on it...GROSS! The service is okay at best and they never try to rectify the problem of their slow service, both times a manager never stopped by our table, so that means the servers aren't telling the manager of long ticket times, or they're not aware which is worse. Looks like ihop or even shortcakes is a better option. read more

We recently visited Stillwater for three days over Easter weekend. We ate lunch on our first day there; got to the restaurant just at closing time but were welcomed in and made to feel right at home. Great burgers! We ate breakfast at Jimmy's Egg each following day. As it was the weekend they were jam packed but the wait was short and the very accommodating manager, James Taylor, kept us informed and entertained until a table was available. Again, the food was great, the service superb, and we will certainly go back next time we are in Stillwater. read more

Service was excellent. Immediate seating this morning. The Baja Omelet was great. Love the avocados and bacon in omelet. It was gooey (with cheese) and soft on the inside. Not overcooked.
