I'm a special case due to having the genetic condition Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). When I saw a PT location in Jarrettsville on the referral list from Johns Hopkins Genetics I was so happy, since it's unusual to find someone familiar with EDS in a rural area. Kevin McLaughlin is amazing! He's been working with me over the last 18 months and I'm feeling better than I have in a long time. Since my condition isn't curable, I go regularly for symptom relief and help getting things "back in place." I receive personal & hands-on treatment at every visit. All of the office staff are kind and helpful, and the business has a relaxed and fun, yet completely professional atmosphere. He took 45 minutes of the first one hour initial appointment evaluating me then readjusting me and reevaluating! He was compassionate and extremely knowledgeable and his techniques were very effective! As I am a golfer, he personalized the majority of my stretches to the golf swing and gave me a daily routine which accelerated my progress ! After just three visits, I was able to swing a golf club again! My therapy with Josh is over but I feel equipped to stay a step ahead of any future injuries thanks to the knowledge he imparted to me! The staff was so kind and attentive to getting me all set up with appointments and making me feel comfortable. The doctors and physical therapists have been so nice, as well. I am personally not used to this kind of rehab/doctor, so it was important for me to feel comfortable, and all of the providers at Health Quest do just that!
