I have been coming to this box since beginning of September 2019. The physical changes I have seen in my body have been AMAZING! Regular gym is a little intimidating for me, and I wouldn't have seen the same drastic changes that I do now. I have also gotten stronger it's amazing how a 15 pound barbell is now light for me! First off, this place is very clean and they have all the equipments you need to work out. Every day the workout is different. All the coaches are amazing they are super friendly they motivate you and support you with anything you need. Coach Lorraine the owner was the first person I spoke to and she is amazing in helping you do your best and guide you with all the movements correctly during the workouts. With the membership, you receive emails with lots of nutritional tips and food findings. You do not have to be experienced to come to the box you start wherever you are and you work your way up! Warning: you get addicted! I have to go at least three or four times a week! What is motivating also is that you work out with a group of people who are friendly, fun and encourage you do your best and I think that's what's important to have at a box. There are special workouts that sometimes happen throughout the year. For Christmas you can win a T-shirt if you come for a certain amount of days. They also offer I believe a one-week trial if you'd like to give it a shot. There is also a little section for you to charge your phone. They also sell water, but have a filter to just refill your bottle! I definitely recommend Crossfit to everyone especially if you are not sure what to do at a regular gym or you may be a little bit bored at this place you will always have a good time! read more

Liv Up Crossfit is like having an extended family. My son, husband and I have been going to Liv Up for almost 3 years. It's a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. You looking forward to going because you get to see your workout friends who become like family. Everyone is so supportive. What I love most is how encouraging and inclusive the coaches and members are with my special needs son. Everything is modified to meet him where he is at based on his age and his intellectual and physical abilities. This gym has honestly changed our lives in the most positive ways. It's hard to explain in words, you've just got to come and experience it. I'm a 40 something mom and wife and have seriously never felt better. I'm not athletic, but I find the challenge of completing Crossfit workouts so rewarding. And doing so have given me confidence in all aspects of my life beyond the gym. read more

When my previous CrossFit gym closed this past summer it left myself and many other members looking for a place to call home. As many are aware, CrossFit is an amazing community of people and many gyms (aka boxes) consider their fellow members their gym family. The LivUp coaches and members welcomed us all with open arms and the transition was very seamless. Their facility was much larger and they have tons more equipment than I previously had a chance to use which was a big game changer. They also have a USAW weightlifting certified team! The coaches here and so involved and care so much about their members. I definitely see myself meeting so many more personal fitness goals with this gym and so happy to call LivUp my new home. If you're in the area and are looking for a great box to drop in for a class or are interested in trying CrossFit for the first time, I would highly recommend. I was tired of working out and getting nowhere. As faith would have it my wife and I were in the mall and I was complaining to my wife about getting nowhere. A sales person overheard our conversation and suggested I try Crossfit at LivUp. The rest is history. I am in better shape now then I have ever been in my life. I am not 20 something or even 30 something. In fact, I'm probably the oldest person at LivUp. The owners are great and constantly watch my form to make sure I am doing things right. Since I started Crossfit I have dropped in at others and none beats LivUp. Best box!!! read more

I was a little hesitant to start crossfit. However, every single coach at LivUp made me feel right at home. Now I could not picture myself doing crossfit anywhere else. Everyone is so encouraging that it make you want to push yourself harder than ever. I even stepped out of my comfort zone and started Olympic Weightlifting & now I have a meet coming up in a month!!! A little over a year ago I made one of the best decisions of my life. After almost a year of nagging from my nephew and sister-in-law, I decided to try CrossFit. The first day I nervously walked into LIV UP CrossFit, Coach Jorge welcomed me with a warm smile and put me at ease immediately. While waiting for the class to start my doubts got the better of me and I vividly remember thinking, "What the heck am I doing here? I'm 100+ pounds overweight, I'm in no shape for this." [This is the PG version! :-D] When the coach yelled, "400m!" everyone took off running and I followed suit, albeit at a much slower pace, and I made it all of 50m before I had to stop to catch my breath. Seven minutes later I was ready to call it quits but pride got the better of me and I was determined to finish the class. One warmup, a thorough demonstration of the basic movements being performed that day and one WOD later, I was even more certain this crossfit thing wasn't for me. The next day Coach Lo reached out to me to ask how my first class went. I was very honest about not being sure CrossFit was for me as I'd struggled to make it through the warmup and the WOD and felt winded, lightheaded and nauseated. We talked a little more and she made some pre-workout nutrition suggestions to try before my next class. That night, better prepared thanks to Coach Lo's suggestions, I did the class and went from being almost certain this CrossFit thing wasn't for me to signing up on the spot and I haven't regretted it since.
