Shortly after, I received very different messaging by text including a dismissive tone and a completely different narrative. Policies changing is fine. Inconsistency, poor communication, and condescension are not. This interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and an immediate ick. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions.
