Jamie agreed to handle the repair, and I paid more than $2,000 for the new panel and installation. After an extremely long wait, the panel was finally installed -- but the workmanship was unacceptable. The overlays didn't line up, were pulling away from the panel, and looked terrible. Rather than taking responsibility, Jamie blamed the manufacturer and promised to replace the panel. That was months ago. Since then, it has been excuse after excuse, missed promised dates, and poor communication. I was told the replacement panel would arrive this week and that I would receive a call. No call ever came. To make matters worse, the garage door came off the spool again this week, leaving me panicked and unable to safely use the door. I tried repeatedly to contact Jamie and, unsurprisingly, received no response. I finally had to call another garage door company, and they arrived within an hour to fix the problem. Their technician replaced this spring with the same type (250 lb. x 32 spring), but he indicated that given the weight of the wooden door, a heavier spring should have been installed back in 2022.
