I was thoroughly satisfied with the work that Sam did for me. He came out and sprayed the yard that was infested with weeds and it suggested several options for me, especially one that save me a lot of money. He sprayed the entire yard for about $200 and if you would've pulled all the weeds out prior to spring it would've been about $150. They did the front and back yards of a track home style property. The reason mine was a little bit more than normal was because we live on the extreme west side of town. I highly recommend them! They did a great job cleaning up our yard and treating for weeds. I am actually writing this review though because we had some weeds starting to pop back up after a month or so. They have a three month guarantee on the weed treatment. When I contacted the young lady who works in the office through email (she is so sweet and polite) she got back to me right away and the next day sent a gentleman out to spot treat the weeds. I called G & G after looking at a few places on the internet and Yelp. They were the only one who actually called me to follow up on my inquiry for a quote. Mahely in the office is very nice and professional. She made an appt for their crew chief Letty to come out within 2 days to look over the yard and give an estimate. The estimate they gave us was on average for what we needed and we made an appt for the following week to get it done. The crew showed up when they said they would and got to work. I was nervous that only 2 people showed up but they got right into it and a few hours later more crew arrived. They did our very large front and side yard as well as outside our wall and the alley.It took them 2 days to get all the work done and spray the yard, but it looks great and they hauled everything away and cleaned up with a blower when they were done!! My husband and I have been ill and our yard was just horrible from weeds and the dog and now its beautiful again. It's the little things that matter. The young guy did a super job removing all the weeds from our yard, but then stopped before picking up the small limbs left all over the yard. He threw gravel all over our walkways and left holes in the yard, not even bothering to rake the gravel back into place. The whole yard was just left unfinished, even down to one dead limb hanging conspicuously out of our tree. I was very disappointed with the service and felt the job was not taken seriously even though they charged enough to provide a professional service. The whole situation made me sad as we were trying to find a company to step in and pick up where our previous yard service left off when the owner moved out of state. Joe Fossetti was wonderful and every service he provided left our yard so beautiful. So, we are still looking for another owner who cares as much about his customers as Joe did! read more

From the very beginning of our search for a good yard care company, G and G made it obvious they were in a different league than everyone else we spoke with about what we wanted done to our yard. We contacted 5 different companies, and they were one of two to return our call; which they returned the same day. They were not the least expensive, but they weren't exorbitantly priced either. They were prompt in returning our calls, showed up when scheduled, and absolutely busted their butts to get it done (in the rain no less). The finished product still has us reeling. I had very bad experience with this company as I requested to remove the weeds for the whole backyard of my Duplex but they did the work for one apartment only claiming that the address in the request is for one apartment only. I made sure when I talked to their agent that the work is needed for two apartments but she denies that. It was clear that they were very keen to attract me at the beginning by their low price then do half the work I was expecting relying on the excuse of one-unit address only!!! Also the work they did for unit was very poor and a lot of weeds, even though short, but are still there as shown in the enclosed picture. I will never deal with them again and I warn every one to be careful with those people as they are for sure not straightforward. read more
