They both told me yes. When I later reviewed the recommended work and tried to accept it, the diagnostic fee was still being charged. I called to clarify and was told they do not waive that fee. As I was on my way to pick up my truck, I then received a message saying they would waive it this time, but that it's not their standard practice. That completely contradicts what I was told upfront. I relied on that information when making my decision, and it turned out not to be accurate. Because of that, I chose to pick up my truck and not move forward with the work.
