I acquired the referral to G & J via "Angi", but will post my review here. Scheduled the site visit appointment and Jesus arrived on the day, in the window of time scheduled. Long story short, Jesus has alot of knowledge and a portfolio to match. His estimate was reasonable and his specified start date was met. He did state the project would take 2 days, but it was actually 4 because we tweaked the project scope (yes, this added to the cost but it was worth it). Jesus was more than accommodating. His business method is start a project and finish it, no multi project delays. The scope of our project was a full front lawn removal, replacing with golden gravel, dry river bed, strategically placed boulders and a psychological wall. What's that you as? Ask Jesus...he took a picture to add to his portfolio. He will definitely use him again when we are ready to do our "courtyard" as he calls it. We got plenty of "kudos" from our neighbors AND passing cars slowed to take a long look. Give Jesus and the G&J Landscaping team a try. read more

Made an appointment for a quote at a scheduled time. 10 Minutes go past the time, called Jesus to find out where he's at said he was ten minutes away. Hung up, calls back 30 seconds later and tells me he's 50 minutes away. Then starts to proceed to tell me that he forgot to add me to his calendar but that he can still see me in 50 minutes. We are very happy customers! First off, Jesus the owner came out the same day we called to give us our estimate! He was very friendly and so knowledgeable that my husband hired him on the spot! His crew started work in a few short days! Workers arrived early and did a fantastic job! We had pavers installed, lots of plants and 2 avocados trees planted, he thoroughly fixed and re-did our outdated/broken sprinkler system and installed a new control panel and set it up for us! When I first started my services with them back in 2015, they were great. They were very thorough, clean and responsive. If there was something that needed to get done or overlooked, they made sure they would come back and fulfill the service. The past year has been a significant change. They are careless, leave our property a mess, do the minimum service and leave the rest. When I contact them to come meet with me to show them issues we've been experiencing, there is a complete lack of response/communication. I've been very patient and have left messages and texts messages the past several months, with zero response. I'm use to communicating with Jesus Nicanor, not sure if he's still with the company or not, I was under the impression this was his company, but him nor anyone else at the company has gotten back to me. I'm not quite sure what's going on, but I'm on my last thread with them. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more
