Can't go wrong. Ordered my stuff ahead. They always have it ready to go. Quality meats. You just Can't go wrong here. From luncheon meats, to the butcher section to hoagies and all the extras. My suggestion is always order ahead as it can get crowded so it's ready and your in and out. read more

I grew up in Glendora. G & Ms was, and still is, my parents and other family's spot to get our meats - esp their veal, pork & beef mix, roast pork and chicken cutlet! Everything is very fresh and the butchers even tenderize your meats so you don't have to. Try their roast pork. They season it perfectly and all you have to do is literally put it in your oven - DONE! Honestly! I feel warm and fuzzy when I go in this literally little deli. My sister, dad and I used to take turns piking up our orders for Sunday gravy! My dad used to also bring home their fresh lunch-meats alot, which we try to avoid now - oh, health, you've ruined things again! It cracks me up to see that they still have Tastycakes in front of the store as soon as you go in. Talk about old school deli. You walk into here and are transported back to Grandma's old neighborhood corner store or some similar blast from the past. The star of the show are their sandwiches and meat selection. We came for "cutlets"(chicken, don't ask me, but they seem to be a SJersey staple) The butcher grabs what you order then pounds them with his butchers knife while you wait. I'm not sure why but they were awesome simply prepared by chef Trish. I hear great things about their homemade roast beef and pork, may try the later on my next visit. I have lived in Runnemede for 40 years and have been going to G & M Deli for years. Unfortunately, it has been going downhill since original owner passed on. Have recently been given steaks that I had to return and are out of many things they always had previous, like bone in chicken breasts and pork chops.Today was the last straw! I have been going to this store for over 25 years. Nice friendly atmosphere. I know everyone in the store. Quality meats at fair prices. A lot of specialty Italian items like pepperoni, grated cheese, olives, mozzarella balls, etc. stop in they will treat you well. read more

G & M is fine, mostly! Great butcher, good cold cuts, prices are decent. My wife deals with the butcher. Sweet sausage is very good. They, G & M employees, wrap cold cuts in some kind of paper that dries the cold cuts out so when you get home you havta throw their paper away or your cold cuts are dried out inna day. Everything else is fine . Don't park too close to the corner, I was right close when that car hit (and bent) that post, bam! Rolls are fresh daily. read more

as far as quality and price, we love it here. My husband grew up in the area, and his family has gone to G & M for ages. Since being married, and living back in the area, we've been going there for about 10 years together. The prices for lunch meats are great and rolls are always fresh and ready to go. Roast Beef is awesome. As far as service? I'm surprised there aren't more reviews about that. Rude and unpleasant women at the deli counter. I know a lot more people would agree. I don't need someone to come around the counter and hug me, but at least to be courteous and maybe talk to us like normal humans. But, trust me, if you're someone they "know", you're fine. You get the royal treatment - laughing, talking etc. I didn't say if you're a regular, you're fine, because we ARE regulars. read more

The people that cut the lunchmeat are the MOST ignorant humans alive. Sad cause the butcher side is very nice. I've tried to go back but its like making the same bad choices and expecting a different outcome. Could be an outstanding busniess if they clean house regardless if the workers are family or not. Called ahead, was told they had plenty of roast beef. Drove 15 miles only to be rudely told they're out and I should've called ahead. Umm, I did call ahead. Instead, I was greeted by extremely rude employees, a dirty floor, and a bug in the bread bin. I certainly won't be going back here. I'll probably be calling the Health Department Wednesday. Shocking to think they treat customers this way and are still in business. I'm guessing "loyal" customers who don't know any better are what's keeping them open. read more

I been going here for 10 years same women working there and they are ignorant and they just get worst. Especially the lady with red hair with the horrible hair cut. I stopped going there for 6 months now and now was driving by and figured I stop by and nothing changed she wouldn't even sell me a tomatoe that was sitting on the counter telling me is was for tomorrow really. This place is everything you could expect from a great traditional real old school deli. I highly recommend the roast pork and the roast beef. If you want something from their deli department more than likely they got it. Some of the freshest meats in the area. You can't beat meat from a butcher shop and these guys know good cuts of meat. The fresh sliced chipped steak makes amazing homemade cheese steaks. With this place, I usually place a phone order ahead of time because there's always a line. read more
