It's technically just a deli--but it's a great deli. We've been coming here ever since we moved to the area. The first time we walked in, it definitely caught us a little off guard (you'll understand once you see it), but it didn't take long for this place to completely win us over. Pro tip for first-timers: the front door has a mind of its own. It sticks pretty hard--probably some weird pressure thing--so you've got to pull hard to get in and push hard to get out. Like... commit to it. Once you're inside, though, it's all worth it. The food is consistently delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. Truly zero complaints--we've never had a bad meal here. And on top of that, they offer free local delivery, which is always a huge bonus. As you'd expect from a proper deli, the menu is massive--easily dozens and dozens of sandwich options--yet somehow the service is always fast, efficient, and friendly. Even on busy days, they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. And yes, even when I only stop in a handful of times a year just to play the lotto, they're still welcoming and upbeat. Overall, this place does an excellent job of giving you real value for your money. They do have some amazing wraps if you don't mind waiting 45 minutes+ for your order. If you call in an order for pick-up, make sure you add at least 15 minutes to the time they tell you. We drove like an hour an half to try the famous breakfast burritos. They did not disappoint. Just, large, perfectly constructed burritos. What else is there to say ? There's just a couple of seats inside, but we sat there at the little counter in the back, enjoying the memorabilia on the wall. It's exactly what I was expecting. read more

Local Deli I can't believe we just discovered after years of living in Medford. Hands down the best deli I've been too so far. We ordered Breakfast Burritos. I ordered the Pork Roll,Egg White and American Cheese. They have a plethora of choices for Burritos,Bagels,Wings,and other Sandwiches. As far as this Burrito make sure you specify you DO NOT want tots in your Burrito before ordering as mine came with it. I didn't ask for it but I was completely fine with it after eating it. The portion is huge!! Enough to eat half now and half later. The large order of tots we got on the side was enough for 3-4 people. They don't skimp on anything. I believe it was $6.75 which is cheaper than an Omelet at Red Lion Diner at a price of $10.99. We will be back for the wings and sandwiches for sure!! It's a typical Deli with chips,drinks,and lottery tickets as well. Parking in the lot is plentiful. One note worth jotting down...Order ahead. We just showed up to order and you couldn't stand inside without being a foot apart. We ordered from the car and they told us it would be ready in 30-35 mins and when came back we still had to wait 10 more minutes. I'm not complaining,I'm just letting you know now so it doesn't affect your experience. They take a debit card which is a good thing to know as well. The other draw back if I had to is they have one line for pick up and order and there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to figure out where to stand or ask someone if they're there to pick up or order. I have to stop myself from coming here too often purely based off of their breakfast burritos! They really do a great job. As a chicana that moved from Los Angeles to South Jersey, one of my biggest complaints has been the lack of breakfast burritos in the area but after discovering Waller's, I'm finally able to get my breakfast burrito fix! So far I've tried, the loaded potato burrito, the Mexican, and the funky chicken, all were 10/10! I'm inspired to make my way through their menu. Once ownership sold the place got a lot worse every time I order a breakfast burrito now the whole thing is crunchy because of egg shells in the egg. I used to be a regular here and come every Saturday and Sunday almost to get a burrito. Once it got sold it got worse and I ate it once and was like ehh whatever could be a random thing. Went three more times and was still the same that was months ago. Haven't gone back since I and wouldn't recommend anyone else to if you don't want an egg shells all throughout ur burrito. read more

First time visiting and NEVER again. Trying to get in the front door was our first challenge as it is next to impossible to pull open without straining yourself, due to over-suction from the inside. The door is also extremely heavy, which is a hazard in itself, and slams behind you. If anyone had a hand near that door jam, it would cut it off. A customer came in after us and started to walk away, thinking the restaurant was closed, because he could not pull open the door, until someone told him, from the outside, to pull very very hard. We ordered a meatball long and BBQ long sandwich. The meatball takes 20 minutes to prepare and the meatballs are tasteless with a basic tomato sauce spread over them that just makes the roll soggy. The BBQ beef was chewy/grizzly and also in so much sauce, the roll just falls apart due to being soggy. When the order was bagged up, we had to ask if there were any sides that go with it because nothing was in the bag. He had to asked a manager who told him that yes, the BBQ comes with a side order. It's ok for what it is. Good breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and the menu is large. But everything is lack luster. Everything just needs more flavor or spice. Egg salad or chicken salad for example are just mayo, completely lack seasoning even salt. I'll be back when I'm in a pinch, but won't seek it out. read more

This place was always so hyped by my boyfriend and friends, but I never had tried it! I finally decided to cave last week and order! My boyfriend and I placed a pickup order for bacon, cheddar, and ranch tater tots, a BEC with cream cheese everything bagel, and I got the funky chicken burrito. The tots were AMAZING! So delicious and every one was covered in all the cheesy ranch goodness. The portion is also huge and we could only get through about half of that. My boyfriend loved the bagel! He only had ever got burritos from Wallers but was in the mood for a bagel and it did not disappoint! Since it was my first time I decided to go big with the funky chicken burrito. It had chicken, pepper jack cheese, tater tots, jalapeños, and jalapeño poppers which I LOVE. It was so cheesy and delicious and had so much flavor with the right amount of a kick! I could only get through half of this as well because it had so much in it and was super filling. I got the breakfast cheesesteak burrito. Spoiler alert, it was amazing. The tater tots were inside the burrito. Steak meat, cheese, scrambled eggs and tater tots wrapped inside of a nice soft tortilla wrapper. A little Slice of Heaven in the Pine Barrens. I had to update my review on Wallers because this place is awesome! For the past 3 years we have ordered some pretty amazing sandwiches and wraps from this place. The Bacon Cheeseburgers on a Kaiser roll are huge and delicious. My whole family loves their burgers and fries! Be careful when ordering g burgers and fries because the serving size of a large fries can feed a small army. We usually order a large and share between 4 of us. My daughter loves the chicken strips my oldest loves their breakfast burritos and I can rave on about the jalapeño cheddar poppers. The best part of this place is how courteous and professional everyone is and love that it's a local spot. Yes, they also deliver even when it's raining and there's snow on the ground!!! Everytime I go visit my buddy from college, I MAKE him take me to Waller's. Place is money - everything you want from a Deli and then a little bit more. People are just as great as the food they put out - Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I stick with the hoagies and specialty sandwiches. Don't sleep on the breakfast either... This business has changed hands & the quality has gone down hill !!! This is the third time that I have ordered take-out & the order was NOT correct each time . I was charged for a cheese steak hoagie with mushrooms .. NO mushrooms , no tomatoes ,no lettuce ,no cheese !!!! What I found when I got home was a dry roll with dry steak & a few fried onions , When I called they did offer to make new sandwiches ,correctly , however this is the THIRD time these new owners have delivered incomplete ,unappetizing orders to us . They are running a business that had a good reputation into the ground. The quality & service there is very poor ! I will take my business elsewhere . read more
