Their sandwiches are great. They have specialty meats and cheeses you won't find anywhere else. Their Italian sausage is the best, and no one else compares. I've been going here for over 30 years and don't even live in the area. My parents and relatives shopped here for years and continue to do so. I've never found another Italian grocery store that compares. If I ever moved out of NJ, this would be one of the places I miss. The customer service is awesome, and I've never had an issue, and I've worked in the grocery store business for years. If you're comparing Bagliani's to Wawa, you must think McDonald's is the same as a high-end steakhouse. My only complaint with Bagliani's, is I thought the store should have been expanded years ago. The first time we walked in, it definitely caught us a little off guard (you'll understand once you see it), but it didn't take long for this place to completely win us over. Pro tip for first-timers: the front door has a mind of its own. It sticks pretty hard--probably some weird pressure thing--so you've got to pull hard to get in and push hard to get out. Like... commit to it. Once you're inside, though, it's all worth it. The food is consistently delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. Truly zero complaints--we've never had a bad meal here. And on top of that, they offer free local delivery, which is always a huge bonus. As you'd expect from a proper deli, the menu is massive--easily dozens and dozens of sandwich options--yet somehow the service is always fast, efficient, and friendly. Even on busy days, they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. And yes, even when I only stop in a handful of times a year just to play the lotto, they're still welcoming and upbeat. We were seated and asked to be moved to a booth instead (no issues there) as the majority of the restaurant are wood tables and chairs. We ordered cheese to be added, but when the sandwich arrived, NO CHEESE. Our server disappeared at that moment, so we asked another server to bring us the missing item. It came cold, which cost this review one star. If the cheese was done right, it would be melted over the corned beef (extra lean, which costs extra). We did enjoy our lunch (sharing is the better option) and paid our bill. As we were leaving, we decided to grab a rye bread and some bagels to go. Young dude at the counter wasn't very friendly, but that didn't bother us. Finally, we did receive a couple of chocolate chip cookies in a bag with our check.
