I very rarely do any kind of review but these guys were amazing! when you walk in George and Ricardo make you feel like a like a long lost friend. they had extensive knowledge on helping with my 2019 chevy dually. they helped me get my front end replaced with kryptonite heavy duty parts which is a must with big lift and big rims and tires. they mounted and balanced wheels and tires inside and even did a the alignment for me. i didn't have to run around town dealing with other shops. literally a one stop shop for all your big boy trucks with amazing techs and the best customer service you can ask for! Avoid these guys, if at all possible, I bought a brand-new Ram 4x4 and called Desert Rat my go to for lift kits. They were booked out about 2 months, so I called around to find a place to do it sooner. I ran across G and M and talked to Mike who talked a good game and was able to get my truck in about 10 days later for a 4-inch lift. I bought the lift, wheels and Nerf Bars through them and the tires at Discount. The day I arrived to drop off the truck I am told the wheels they sent did not fit my truck they sent the wrong ones. They said they would have them by the end of the week and put on some cheap tires and wheels in the meantime. I picked up the truck and it looked good except for the tires and wheels. I even took it back to them the next week to add 2inches to the lift for a 6inch. He said he would put on my wheels and tires that day but guess what they sent the right ones but only 3 of them Mike said the guy thought they were for a jeep, but a Jeep still has four tires and wheels last I checked. He said it would be in on Monday then Tuesday and now they are overnighting it, shouldn't that have been done in the first place! Shouldn't they have overnighted the correct wheels the day I dropped the truck off the first time!! Also, the tech who did the install drilled 2 inch holes through the rear plastic wheel wells of my brand new truck. They didn't even bother to fill the holes with a rubber grommet or plastic cap, who does that! The Tech was obviously to lazy to do it the right way, which makes me wonder what other short cuts were taken on my truck. Well as of this review I still have not received my wheels and I am never taking my truck back to G and M, in fact I have an appointment at Desert Rat for them to inspect the lift installation. Be cautious if you try these guys. read more

This shop is great. I had them install a leveling kit and overload bags on my Tundra about six months ago. The service was great, was done quickly, and had no issues. This week I decided I would lift a bit higher. After a couple conversations with Mike I narrowed down the lift and we got it ordered. I got the call this morning that it was in and they got me right in. A few hours later I got a call that the truck was ready to go. Pulling into the parking lot I found my truck sideways in front of the shop as if on display which made me that much more excited. A slight misunderstanding had the differential drop removed, but George was quick to get it back on the lift and put back on even after closing time. There are not many shops around anymore that would do this at all, much less without having a lot of push back. These guys are great and have awesome prices on everything you will need to customize your truck, whatever your flavor. If you are looking to lift, level, lower, or just add some flare to your ride, look these guys up. You will be glad you did! read more

I came in to get a lift kit on my truck. I scheduled it via Mike, however when I came in my name wasn't on the calendar. George called Mike and within minutes my truck was being inspected and getting ready to get the lift on. Within several hours my truck was sitting several inches higher. The first time I went here was like 2 years ago, somewhere, I got my coilovers installed on my 14' WRX and I was very pleased because of how careful and fast they installed it. He estimated a time and yes he finished it around the time he gave me. Second time was when I went there to get my tires mounted to my new set of rims because Discount Tire wouldn't do it because the tires are too stretched even though it was just slightly stretched but G&M without a question did it and they mounted the tires to my rims perfectly, without any scratch! and today I went there because 1 of my tire got pierced by a nail and they fixed it in no time and every single time the price they charge me is very reasonable and very affordable! This Place might be good for easy and not so complex lifts, the ones that are nice if you don't go off-roading much. I bought a very quality lift kit Known as Rubicon Express and had heavy duty drive lines put in along with a dual stabilizer bar for a Jeep wrangler. I was very satisfied with my lift and how it came out at first. They told me to go take it out and flex my suspension and then bring it back in a week to make sure everything looked good. They said everything was good and I went on my way. Less than 9 months go by and I'm driving on the freeway when all of a sudden a car came out of no where and told me my jeep was on fire. I quickly pulled over and saw a control arm on my lift had been dragging. The bolt holding it in place fell out. I had my jeep taken to 2 mechanic shops just to make sure I had a valid diagnostic. One of the mechanics I talked to actually use to do some work for G&M Motorsports and told me that they were a very shady company and that their work was not that quality. The drivelines that I had them install was very loose. I could grab it and move it side to side without hesitation. Due to the play in that drive line it would need to be rebuilt or replaced. A cost of 300-400$. I would also have to replace a couple of u joints, costing around 150$. The control arm on my jeep would need to be fixed, 80-100$. Now every mechanic shop I have ever been to, owns up to a mistake that was made or has a 1 year warranty on their work. But this shop had the edacity to say It was MY fault and I should have tightened my driveline bolts and lift bolts, telling me I was going to have to cover all the payments including the labor! I took it to a different shop. I've been off-roading my whole life. I'm part of a 4x4 club. I know what I need to maintain on my jeep. I talked to all the off road veterans to see if they ever had these issues. Not a single one said its common. This is a group of 100+ guys, most of them have been off-roading longer than I've been alive. But there is no excuse for my drivelines coming loose and my lift falling apart. It came down to tightening my bolts down to specs and I don't believe for one minute they did that. I worked in a auto shop for two years, when we made a mistake we wouldn't blame the customer. Own up to your mistakes. Completely disrespectful to try and put their mistake on me. I paid over $1500 to install my lift, id expect they would do a good job. I'm very disappointed in the professionalism in this shop. Don't go to this shop if your putting a kit that is more complex. They may be good at the simpler things, but don't know how to handle a difficult kit. Pay the extra money and have it done at a shop that specializes in your vehicle or complex lifts. read more
