I have brought my cars to H & I for years. They have been 100% honest and ethical every time.

I believe they broke my master lock key from my rim on my Acura when I took it in for my last service. I didn't get a call back like I usually do when they are finished I did get a text saying my car was done. When I picked up my car they said nothing about the key being broken. I found out a few days later that my tires weren't rotated and called to see what happened. They told me over the phone that it was broken before they serviced it and that they were sorry they didn't tell me they didn't rotate my tires or my key was broken when I picked up my car because they were trying to close at 4:50. I went to the dealership to get a new key because that is all I was told I needed. I go to look at my tires because something about their story didn't make sense. I'm missing a key lug nut on my car! They didn't tell me it was missing so now I have to go back to the dealership and get a new set of lock lug nuts. I know for a fact that my car had all of its lug nuts on it when I took it in because I wash it twice a month and would've noticed a lug nut missing. They allowed me to leave the shop without a lug nut which is super unsafe and then didn't even tell me about. Not verbally or in the report they send your over text. I hope they will reach out to me rectify this because I have a lot family that take their cars their and would hate to find a new mechanic for us all. read more

Not very honest on their repair . Had my Ford F150 in the for servicing . New Sparkplug's was a on the list . After only 5,000 miles on a trip in CA the truck started running bad . Took it to a garage and found out that the sparkplugs electros on the # 4 & 8 cylinders had fallen off . They pulled all 8 plugs and found that only 6 sparkplugs were replaced and the back two were not . It was very easy to see the different on how old those two plugs when sitting next to the other six plugs . read more

ZERO STARS IF IT WERE POSSIBLE Had a rattle noise coming from the transmission, my father and myself always fix our own vehicles for the reason I'll bring up. My father who is a disabled veteran and is now getting old and I'm not the brightest when it comes to vehicles. We heard great things from neighbors and even Yelp to determine who should fix my step moms car and my car as well. My step moms Lincoln needed a new water pump, and they fixed it, no problem. But forgot to install the steering wheel column on correctly? They said they test drove it but the wheel was off by 20 something degrees. How didn't they catch that? No big deal, we came right back and they fixed their mistake. A week passed and I got my car in for repair, took longer than expected since they were waiting for parts to come in, which seems very normal. Got my car back after two days, my father drove it home for me since I wasn't there at the time, but a comment my father made that concerned me was "if you need the clutch adjusted, they'll do that for you". Drove 15 min down the street to get to work, and wouldn't you know, clutch starts to slip. Wouldn't engage into any gear without it sounding like a blender.( I stopped trying after one attempt) My father called to see what the issue was, and they wanted to see my car again? We wasted too much time and money trying to get this fixed when we could've taken it to someone else. Basically stole 2 grand, from a 19 year old. And for some reason they like to take off cosmetic modifications off that had nothing to do with my clutch, and didn't even put it on correctly. A customer had a similar car as myself and fixed their AC and customer came back saying their car was running rough on idle. Saying it wasn't the shops fault, "older cars have issues". I understand people make mistakes, but not this big of mistakes for a mechanic shop. Honestly very disappointed with this place, they even hyped themselves up when I met them in person, saying they have all sorts of mechanics ranging from Subaru to Ford. Made me feel like I could trust them with my car which drove fine just made a noise, but now my car isn't running properly at all. Had to get my car towed back to my house to find another shop, then got it towed there to be repaired. Paid dealership prices for backyard mechanic work. Cable is loose not stiff at all, pedal goes down with no real pressure applied, throwout bearing is in terrible condition(which was replaced in installation), as if it were damaged before install. (I have video of new mechanic shaking the cable) Having the new shop drop the transmission, pictures shown is their piss poor job of installation.(SO FAR) Honesty and Integrity? More like Insincerity and Deception. Can't even keep up with their own slogan for not giving a refund for terrible job done to my car. If you still debating about coming here, I know their reviews look perfect, but they DON'T know what they're doing. read more

I will absolutely recommend H&I! After having work done on my Sequoia at another establishment, it just felt off to say the least. I called H&I and took it in. Ryan rode tested it with me and could tell right away I was not crazy. I brought it in the next day, due to being later in the day when we rode tested it, to diagnose. They were able to diagnose and repair immediately! They also caught another mistake the other establishment messed up on and corrected it. It is now roadworthy again for much less than I anticipated! After asking for oil change location suggestions, i decided to go with H&I. I'll definitely be taking the car back for service again. I got a fun flash light for my key chain and some thank you goodies in my car afterwards. The service was amazing and they text the paperwork for you. It had an extremely clean and comfy lounge to wait for the van. My only complaint is that they are not Open on the weekends to take the other vehicle. I was pretty happy with the costumer service! I had my oil changed and they were phenomenal. They accommodated to get it done the very next day which I was happy! I also really liked that they run a report to see if everything is up to date. Rotated the tires and fixed the low pressure tire light at no extra cost. I choose to leave my car there so I didn't have to wait since they squeezed me in their busy schedule. First I looked at their reviews which were all excellent. I stopped in and talked with Ryan the Manager. I told him my vw beetle was due for 40k service and the dealership wanted $600. I explained that it was time for me to leave the dealership as my warranty was up. I made an appointment. I brought the car in and was checked in by John the Assistant Manager. Then John gave me a ride home as I only lived a couple miles from there. The bottom line is that they did all the inspections that the dealership does on the 40K service and changed the oil and filter. I will tell you that their charge was very low. I started off a busy day expecting to spend several hundred dollars fixing a "clunk" in the suspension of my daughters car. I called and spoke to Ryan who said they would do the best they could to check it out right away. I pulled in and within 5 minutes I was on a test drive with one of their mechanics. H&I offers free WIFI so I was able to work while they inspected the car further. Called for a quote, they stated they would send a text. Nothing, not reliable and DONT use them.

Brought my car in for "diagnosis" and was told they couldn't find the problem within the 1 hour diagnosis time and that I would have to pay for another one hour of diagnosis time. Fine. The problem turned out to be the one ignition part that I had not already replaced, which any competent tech could have found within 1/2 hour with the appropriate scanner tool. This was a $50 part that they charged me $200 for. This part was held on with two screws and couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes to remove and replace (on top of engine, readily accessible). They charged me an additional $600 to install this part. But the tech did throw in a condescending comment about how people shouldn't attempt to work on their own cars. read more

He didn't give me the mechanic look of when a customer tries to imitate a noise their car is making. Instead he wrote it down and said he would squeeze my car in because I did not have a appointment. I received the email with the mechanics write up and a phone call from Jon saying my car was ready. They told me things that were good with the car and things of concern but at no time offer a high pressure sales pitch to fix it today. I picked up my car and the issue had been fixed. It is so refreshing to have a normal oil change performed without being pressured to buy services that you don't immediately need, nor can afford, right now. Even though they did a thorough job in evaluating my Odyssey, no one EVER pushed me to have the recommended services performed after I said "not at this time". They respect the notion that "no means no", LOL. I dealt with John and Drew and couldn't have been happier! Both of them are awesome professionals in their field. They were pretty friendly, but I wish someone had told me they were going to rotate my tires and how long they were gonna take because I wasn't prepared to be there for that long.
