I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Bob Maxey Ford, Inc…read more I scheduled an appointment for my Ford F-150 for an oil change, recall, and a rear differential leak. I was told to bring the truck in at 10am and that I'd need to approve a $250 inspection fee upfront, even though I have a premium care warranty. They couldn't clearly explain what would or wouldn't be covered. I dropped the vehicle off at 9am and was promised a call in the afternoon with an update. No one called. I had to follow up myself at 2pm, and again at 4:30pm after being left on hold. By the end of the day, I was told they hadn't done anything on the truck. No inspection, no real progress, and no communication. I then went to pick up my vehicle, and no one apologized or explained anything. No communication, no accountability, and no respect for customers' time. Completely unacceptable experience. I won't be coming back.

I'm looking for clarification regarding a recent service visit. I purchased an oil change package…read morefor $74.00, which included an oil change, all fluids, and a tire rotation. Before the service, I was already aware that my front driver-side tire had a slow leak. After the service was completed, I noticed that same tire was still low later that evening. This raised concerns that the tire rotation may not have been performed, as the leaking tire remained in the same position. I returned to Maxey, explained the situation, and was told the tires would be rotated at that time. However, three days later, the front driver-side tire was low again -- the same one that had been leaking all along. This led me to believe that the tire had never been rotated, as its position hadn't changed and the leak persisted. Since the service team wasn't aware of the leak, this was my only way to verify whether or not the tire had been moved. Now I'm 2 visits to the location, hours of work missed and still have no rotated tire. Sad.

Sorry for the one star. Couldn't find anything lower!! Leased a 2024 Lyriq and from the first week…read moreit has been back and forth to the dealer 4 times with the same issues. Each time the dealer, Sheehan Cadillac in Pompano Beach FL, states that they are "Unable to duplicate customer's concern at this time". These issues have been ongoing since April. Have contacted Cadillac concierge countless times with no resolution. They continually state someone will call you back within 24 hours and NO ONE EVER DOES!!!! Was told Cadillac would buy the vehicle back once they reviewed the service records and would call with the details. NO ONE EVER DID !!!!! Sent certified letters detailing all the issues to Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, Rory Harvey, President of Cadillac Division and Tom Sheehan, owner of the Cadillac dealership. To date not one of these people has responded. Buyer Beware of buying a Lyriq, a Cadillac and which dealer you buy from.

Cadillac/General Motors does not stand behind its $100k trucks! BUYERS BEWARE. @GM @CADILLAC…read more I purchased a brand new 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition Nov 2016. I have 54k miles on this truck, it is vergin, hasn't had anything done except routine maintenance. About 3 weeks ago my car stalled and I had it towed to my local dealership (Suburban Chevy/Cadillac in Ann Arbor, MI). After 3 days I was notified that my 6.2L V8 engine was seized and need major repair. I called GM customer care and filed a claim (I'm concerned, my engine failed and require major repairs at the end of my Powertrain warranty, I would like my powertrain warranty extended) Tonisha was my Senior Customer Care Rep. Phone Number: 1-866-790-5600 Extension Number: 5914931 - case number 9-5235968925 My exhaust value spring broke causing the valve to hit the piston head and major damage had occurred. The cylinder head was replaced, two piston heads, and one-cylinder rod per the mechanic Josh. (THIS REPAIR WAS COVERED UNDER MY 6yr/70k powertrain warranty) Dwayne (my service advisor) informed me that my battery was worn out (dead cells, result of repeated attempts to start the car, I'm sure dealer is responsible) and it should be replaced. I agreed to pay for the battery $170. When I picked up my truck the starter would barely turn engine over, I returned my truck the next morning, Dwayne says now the starter is worn (due to repeated attempts to start the engine, I'm sure the dealership is responsible) and they want me to pay another $444. to replace the starter. I refuse to pay and called my Customer Care Rep. Tonisha says she will call the dealership, which she did, now I get a call from the Service Advisor and they are willing to replace my starter for $140. I refuse and call Cadillac Customer Care again and they refuse to cover because the starter was covered under my 3yr/36k warranty and that warranty was expired - excuse me! My starter would be fine had not the engine failed, which is covered. I disappointed that GM, Cadillac refuse to make me whole in this situation. I'm driving their top of the line $100k truck. (BTW - they never gave me any details concerning extending my warranty as well - only 15k left on warranty) Drove my 04 Lincoln Navigator 154k with no issues with engine/transmission, maybe time to go back. @FORD @LINCOLN. Update: was supposed to hear from a supervisor in 72 hours - no call.

It's no longer an International car show but just an American car show. Pics are combined from 2023…read more& 2025. I went 2yrs ago and was so excited that this time, I came with my two nephews. I flew them from MD to MI with me. To my dismay, It was small, not all brands present, no food options, no fun vendors, no games, no real swag, no car accessories to buy, nothing really for the kids, no international cars, no concept cars, the dealers only brought the base model, nothing spectacular. A lot of the cars were locked so you couldn't get in. For Detroit to be the car capital, and they had already skipped a year, this really does put Detroit in a bad light. This was my last year. I found Chicago (last year) to be just as disappointing. I wish I went to both prepandemic so I could see how things were when it was all the hype.

I am so behind in posting this review from 2023…read more We got to the auto show an hour before it closed - enough time to see our top car brands and displays. For me, a visit during the weekday is less stressful - the crowds are thinner, so you can get closer to your favorite vehicles. The focus this year was on EVs. There was even room for car enthusiasts to try out the various brand offerings. We chose not to wait in the short line and instead roamed the floor and jumped in and out of the numerous vehicles on display. We saw impressive displays from the Big 3, a beautiful display from a luxury brand (no concept vehicles this year), a beautiful one-seater race car, and something Batman would drive. We also saw a flying car but no demos, unfortunately. Of course, you go to the auto show for inspiration. Whether it is the shiny pick-up, the SUV that inspires off-roading, or the sporty EV with the huge range, the auto show lets you see yourself in new vehicles. Tickets were available online. I work downtown so I had already parked. However, another benefit of going during the week is the ample parking.
