I asked for French and told it's an upcharge and that they did not have time for the appointment although nobody else was being serviced in the middle of the day. Additionally, the nail tech was super rough putting my hands and fingers in super uncomfortable positions, chastizing me if I didn't hold my fingers in a difficult position. It was a very uncomfortable manicure. The pedicure was the best part of the treatment. When I was handed my shoes, the manicurist wouldn't even make room for me to step down off the chair! read more

Hi, I'm writing because I am honestly shocked and disappointed by the way I've been treated after being a loyal client for five years. When one of my nails was clearly broken during an appointment, I was told it was "already broken," which felt dishonest and extremely unprofessional. And the moment I calmly tried to defend myself, I was suddenly accused of being rude--something I never am. It was pure gaslighting, and completely unacceptable. What made it even worse is that I was threatened and told that I shouldn't use your services anymore, despite having a $700 credit with you. I was told I'm "only allowed to do makeup," which makes absolutely no sense and is not how any business should treat someone who has already paid for services. I also need to address the ongoing issue with Daria at the front desk. Her attitude has consistently been rude, cold, and unaccommodating. I've watched her offer coffee and extra attention to certain clients--usually other Eastern European customers--yet in five years she has never offered me the same courtesy. It leaves me feeling like I'm not treated equally or welcomed. The nail techs take a long time and communication is difficult, but when they don't break a nail, they generally do a good job. Still, everything I've experienced--being lied to, gaslit, threatened, and treated differently despite having a large credit--makes it very hard to justify coming back. I truly hope you take this seriously, because no loyal customer should ever be treated this way. read more

I was really trying to find a quality manicure specialist that would clean out the nail bed well so that gel would last more than just 7 days. Other nail places I've tried don't seem to bother pushing out the cuticle. thank you so much guys for being here and open till 8pm, going the extra mile! My manicure looks outstanding and I keep getting compliments. It does not look grown out of cuticle yet! It's been two and a half weeks now. I will attach pictures from day one and now. This full service salon is like the Ritz mixed with a candy shop and a designers touch. Everything is so well thought out! I experienced THE most comfortable wash of my entire life. If you've ever had your hair in a sink at a salon you know it can be brutal. I had 2 cushions and laughed the entire time because it felt like I was laying on a pillow. They use Dyson blow dryers, top of the line hair products and everything, everywhere is so Instagram-able. The shop sits right next to MedMen and there is ample metered parking and a pretty cheap public lot right across the street from the salon. This is one of their many locations worldwide and it shows because I seriously can't get over the level of detail they put into every aspect of the salon and customer experience!! read more

Amazing experience with this salon. My 8 year old daughter wanted a spa themed birthday. My wife searched for weeks to find a salon that could do hair, make-up and nails and was lucky enough to stumble upon G Bar. From start to finish, the experience with the salon was outstanding. They were accommodating, friendly, and very reasonable. The day of the party went seamlessly with us, arranging for balloon, decorations, catering, and a small cake and dessert display at the salon. They allowed us to have the salon all to ourselves, which was amazing. My daughter had the best birthday ever and all of her friends and their parents complimented us on how fun, fabulous and beautiful the experience was. Heard about it from a friend. Let's check it out! Clean, new, fresh salon. The best manicure and pedicure in LA hands down!!! Russian mani and/or pedi can be done with water and cuticle scissors or without - with a machine that resembles nail buffer machine. What's so great about that technique or a combination of both is that cuticle doesn't grow out as fast as it normally would. My gel nails are the shiniest, the perfectiest and last for the two weeks at least( and I cook daily.) they have an amazing selection of gel polishes, best brands on the market. One thing to keep in mind - a gel mani would take 1,5 hours but it's totally worth it. Very friendly personnel. read more

Lily did the best job on my nails today! I got the express manicure with gel, and the outcome was better than many deluxe manicures I get at other nail salons. I let her know I was in a hurry and she was considerate of my time. That being said, she didn't rush and did a very precise job, paying attention to every little detail. She even used a thicker gel base to strengthen my thin nails. Definitely recommend! read more

I have visited this place several times. I did pedicures there, and it always looked normal, not good, but normal. But the last time it was terrible. I'm sorry, but it is. It was evident that the master was not qualified enough. She hurt several of my fingers and constantly stopped the bleeding. And now I have a wound on one finger. I don't think this is normal, it was horrible. This is my first negative review, but I am not recommending this place to anyone!!! read more

I really wanted to like this place and was really excited to come down here. But the technicians are not the best. I had two girls do my nails, one took off the previous gel and the second one did my nails. And after a few days they all began cracking and chipping and the gel is off by week two. Super disappointed, wasted 70$ plus tip, plus the parking fee and plus my time. I have had Russian manicure done before and it stays on for weeks. I have never had it come off within days. Won't be back and do not recommend it to anyone. Sorry. read more
