I came in for a hard gel fill, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When removing my old polish, the technician didn't fully take it off and applied three uneven coats of hard gel. The result was lumpy, thick nails that she later tried to drill down, but they still felt rough. The shape is uneven, and the polish looks very sloppy almost like it was rushed. I've truly never had a manicure turn out like this before. I'm not one to complain but I've never experienced such poor service. read more

This place is terrible it's right next to my office and it is the second time I try it. First time gel manucure poorly done nails not totally coated and filed crooked. She was using the filing instrument and looking all over the room made me very nervous. I thought I would give it a second chance today I went to get gel removed, didn't have time for more. Asked her to file my nails. All crooked again and she didn't totally removed the gel I still have all that stuff on my nails plus I have to recut and file everything. Decided to get a 10 minute foot massage and 15 minute shoulder massage (which was mediocre at best) I was charged $95?!?!? This is my first pedicure post covid. I was looking through so many nail salons to find one that is clean and really following the guidelines. I came by voila nails and was sold. Each chair is separated by plexi glass. All the employees wear face masks and sanitize everything constantly. I was impressed. Also very resemble prices. I will be back again. This was my first visit at Voila Nail Salon. I came in with my friend's daughter to get some new gels because my current ones were chipping and looking pretty gross. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a group of super friendly staff. Kay, whom I discovered later is the owner of the salon, made us feel so welcomed. I usually get a simple color done on my nails, but Kay was attentive and suggested I'd tried something fun and new. She recommended I tried the "cat eyes" gels, which came out so beautiful and awesome. Why didn't I know about them until I came here?! I've been getting tons of compliments on them all week by my friends and co-workers. I'm obsessed. Also, I'm impressed how well my gels are holding up even though I swim and take boxing 3-5x a week. No peels or broken nails yet. As I was getting my nails done, Kay mentioned that the nail salon is actually new and that she just opened shop recently. She spoke about her nail salon with so much pride, and you can tell how special it is to her by noticing the details of the remodeled work. Everything is so bright, and open. Their equipment and furniture is very modern. I also dig the French theme they have going. I was offered something to drink and greeted by quite a few staff members who seem genuinely caring and nice. My friend's daughter got her nails done by Tiffany and really loved the way hers came out. She was raving how this was by far the best job anyone has ever done on her nails. I'm glad that Tiffany made her feel so happy as we know how picky young teenagers can be about their nails, haha! I'm definitely recommending this gem of a spot to all of my friends. As a holiday gift I was given a gift card for this place and I happened to chip my nail and had to use the card on SNS mani - despite my hesitation of trying a new place out I decided to make an appointment via yelp request and got an instant message back and got an appointment for the next day. I went saw Mary, she was quick but diligent about her work and took great care of me. The woman did such a bad job, she was obviously not leaving my nails enough in the led so she basically kept filing my nails over and over again. A nice place. Clean and they did a great job with my nails. They lasted quite a while I was a bit upset after because it took 2 hours to do a gel manicure with acrylic nails (coffin). Despite the two hours she was not able to cut my cuticles. Not sure why this was only offered to me after my nails were completely done. I couldn't stay any longer because the garage I parked in was closing. I still had to pay $70+ with no actual cuticle care and the nail artist requested that I Venmo her a tip because they don't accept tip through credit card. Really was expecting more from this place but now probably won't be going back. read more

After reviewing yelp reviews I decided that this would be a great place for me to try. It's close to my office. I booked this appointment three weeks prior. Tonight, I got there right on time at 5:15 PM, and as soon as I gave them my name I knew there was a problem when everyone there looked so confused. I told him I had an appointment with Tiffany. The lady at front proceeded to ask me if I had made an appointment so I gladly shared all of the yelp conversations I had with Kay, the owner. She then admitted to me that she is Kay and that she now remembers that email exchange confirming the appointment from three weeks ago. Problem is, she also let me know it wasn't put on the calendar because the person she scheduled me with was on vacation so she didn't know their schedule. My response was why would you schedule me with someone when you don't know their schedule. I am so disappointed and they just could not rectify the situation. They tried to put me with another woman who was already working on someone else. The person she was working on then got upset because she didn't want her technician leaving halfway and I don't blame her. So then they tried to put me with yet another person. At this point I realize that this is such an unprofessional place and all she could say is "sorry I didn't know and my husband is actually the one that forgot to put this down". Funny enough I got a response from her husband saying that his wife is the one I didn't put it down. Here are the photos of the yelp conversation.
