From the…read moremoment class started, the instructor never introduced herself before or after class, which immediately felt unwelcoming. Mind you this is our first time trying gymnastics ever! What was even more upsetting was how my 5-year-old daughter was treated. The instructor looked at her with what appeared to be disgust and consistently ignored her while helping the other children in the class. My daughter is on the heavier side, and it genuinely felt like she was being treated differently because of her size. Every child deserves encouragement, patience, and equal attention, especially at such a young age. To make matters worse, the instructor spent what felt like 99% of the class on her phone instead of actively teaching, demonstrating skills, or paying attention to the children. Parents trust instructors to engage with and supervise their kids, and that simply did not happen. This experience left my daughter feeling excluded, and no child should leave gymnastics feeling that way. We will not be returning, and I sincerely hope the facility addresses both the professionalism of its staff and how every child is treated, regardless of their appearance. No child should leave a gymnastics class feeling ignored or less worthy than the other kids. We will absolutely not be returning, and I cannot recommend this gym to any parent looking for a positive, inclusive environment for their child unless your child is skinny. Definitely went and tried another gymnastics place and they definitely helped my child, was very attentive stayed off the phone and made her feel welcomed with all of her new friends!

What I love about Ninja Core, is the access the kids have to all of the equipment in the gym, and how passionate the coaches are about keeping the kids challenged. My kids participate in the Competitive classes, and attend several of the other classes throughout the week, including parkour, and they absolutely love it. It's helping them develop the skills, attitude and team building for competitions at a national level, while also helping them build strength, agility, coordination, and overcoming their fears and boundaries. The staff is exceptional, I couldn't have asked for a better mentor/leader/coach, and I look forward to making this our permanent ninja family for years to come!

We have been taking our daughter to The Little Gym of Albuquerque (Westside) for just about 3 years…read morenow and we have nothing but AMAZING things to say about it. We started with the Parent-Tot gymnastics classes and she's since moved to the dance classes where she gets to do ballet, tap, and gymnastics. It is such a great place for young ones to develop skills and techniques of dance and gymnastics all while learning and having fun! She loves going to class and we have really seen her grow in her skills. We love the staff and have gotten to know them well. They are accommodating with your schedule and offer makeup classes when there are holidays or you have to miss (with adequate notice). We honestly feel like it's worth the price and it's a very attainable rate. We love that they offer "Parent Surivial Nights" for date nights and they even have a daycare-like program you can take advantage of. They even do a cute recital once a year for their dance programs which is so adorable! 10/10 recommend!

She didn't want to go because it was boring. All they did in this class was do the same dance every week and learned nothing new. My daughter was so bored. I also think they nickel and dime you here. The last month I was here, she went twice because the recital was one Saturday (the day of her class) and the other day was her class. The other Saturday there was no class. We didn't even get a discounted month...this wasn't the only month like this either. The recital was a total rip off too. Won't be coming Back here.

Not only are they amazing at coaching but they make you feel at home. We are so pleased with Rio Gymnastics! We have 2 daughters that have been in the competitive team…read moreprogram for over a year now and our experience has been nothing but positive. Our girls are consistently given appropriate, unique challenges that motivate them and improve their skills. They have both improved more in 1 year at Rio, than they did in total in 4 years at another local gym. The coaches have tons of gymnastics knowledge and experience and are all wonderfully supportive of all the gymnasts. This program is fun and challenging in a positive way. Now, that's the technical stuff, and it's all fantastic, but the best thing our girls have gotten out of the Rio program is the bond they have developed to other gymnasts, the sense of belonging in the gym, and the experience of being part of a TEAM. Any building can house a gym, but it takes very special people to make a team, and that's something we've found in the staff, gymnasts and families at Rio, that we haven't found anywhere else! Our girls are so proud to be a part of Team Rio. They both love the sport of gymnastics, but they are truly passionate about THEIR team.
