We started taking our maltipoo here since he was about 6 months to get groomed. The lady is a bit harsh when speaking but I just took it as she did not know English well. We liked the cuts she did on our pup so we took him 4 more times within the year. We started noticing some dry skin around his belly or scabs. We also noticed his ears were super dry from cleaning. The first time she charged us $60 and then each additional time she kept charging us more and said "she did more work" or would quote us one price when we brought him in and then charged us more when we picked him up. We did not mind that part since we understand maltipoos are hard to groom in general because of their hair. One time, my husband came to pick up our dog and they almost gave us the wrong dog! Imagine if they offered our dog to someone else! We would never see him again. But what made us decide not want to come back anymore is because we noticed he started becoming more aggressive toward us. He also had issues at the vet which he never had before. We believe this was from his experience at this groomer because he does not go anywhere else. Take this as a caution if your pup is young and still learning how to behave. read more

We started taking all 3 of our dogs to this groomer about a year ago. I loved the cuts and the older lady was super nice. However, the last time we took one of my dogs there the older lady showed me a red line going down his back and she said it was maybe due to allergies and to be careful with it so I took her word for it but I noticed as the week went on the line started to get puss-y and my little dog was getting more and more irritated with it. Mind you there was nothing wrong with him before we took him in for the cut. So as the week went on it just got worse and worse so i took him to the vet and the vet told me it was from clipper burn! The bill came out to $300 so I got the progress note from the vet along with the receipt with all the charges and took it to GG groomers so that they could reimburse me. When I went down there with my boyfriend they kept arguing with me that it couldn't possibly be from them. I showed them the progress note and everything I had from the vet. At first they only wanted to give me $150 back "to go half and half". I argued back and told her no, they can at least do $200. The whole time I was speaking with the owner the lady in the back cutting the dogs hair was arguing with me, getting super loud. I held my ground and told them I need at the very least $200. They did finally agree. I just thought this whole experience was so unprofessional. I just want to warn anyone that is considering coming here. We've been taking my dog here for a few years now. It's a solid spot and consistent. One thing I can for sure say is my dog LOVES going here. He never was like that before, but every time I mention that he's about to go to the groomers, he gets super hyped and when we drop him off, he literally gets out the car and runs right in. I usually don't pick him up, but the past times that I have, I noticed he was left to hang in the play pen rather than being locked up in a cage. I think I may have found Squirtle's groomer! The ladies here are so sweet and they did such a good job! Squirtles usually antsy when he gets groomed. The last two places I've been to, I'd pick him up and he'd be so eager to go home and seemed to be a bit stressed. However when I picked him up at G Gs grooming, he seemed his normal self! Now he's just chillin in his bed like a happy pup. I wanted a short teddy bear cut and that's what they gave him. He also only has one eye so I think they did the best job at grooming his face compared to the last few places I've been to. He also smells so nice and sweet. I also liked that he wasn't kept in a cage. He had his own play pen area. When I came he was just sitting there not stressed at all. It took about 2-3 hours for his grooming. I liked that they took their time and didn't rush. He's 11 lbs so it was 45 dollars and I think that's very reasonable. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to my friends ! read more

It's my first time owning a pet and i had no idea where to take him for grooming. The first time i took him to petsmart and the total came out to be $60 and i just couldn't afford that again. So i turned to yelp in order to find a good grooming place by my house. For me i always go through many pages of the review before settling on any service places. Although there were a lot of good reviews there were also bad reviews and photos with dogs with razor burn. So i was a bit skeptical. I took my chance and dropped my dog, Jimmothy, of on a Saturday afternoon. When i came in a Korean lady helped me with checking him in and everything. I was a bit worried, but about an hr or so later she called and said he was ready. When i picked up him i checked for razor burns and everything but he looks perfectly ok. I marked a star off because I was confused as to why he was in a cage when the other dogs were outside playing in the play area. Also when i dropped him off i clearly remember he had his collar and name tag on because i never take it off of him, but when i asked if they had it she said no. I didn't argue because maybe i did leave it at home? But coming home and checking every nook and crannies i couldn't find it. It's not something to argue over so and i was impressed with their work. Overall I'll be coming back but leaving jimmothy's collar at home next time. read more

This is by far my FAVORITE place to take my dog, Shirley (and her favorite place to get groomed as well). I've been going here for about 3 years now, and the service and quality has never changed. You can tell that the owner and other groomers truly love dogs because I sometimes catch them sweetly talking to them to calm them down. Also, whenever I come in, they greet me with a smile and are always excitement to see my little fluff ball. There are so many things to like about this place, but my favorite part is the play pen area. They have an actual bed for dogs to jump on and plenty of room to roam around. It provides dogs a more relaxed and stress-free environment because they're not caged up in a small carrier. They're treated like royalty here at a very fair price. My dog is an 8lb miniature poodle mix, and it costs me $40 to get her groomed here. What a steal! They always make sure my dog is groomed perfectly, and she has never come home with a stray hair or scratch. I didn't want to write about this place at first because I wanted them to have more availability for me (LOL selfish, I know), but this place truly deserves more business. I've use G G Grooming services twice now. I wanted to try them out a couples times before writing a review. I usually take my dog Queenie to a different groomer and while I always left satisfied, they're only open Tues-Sat and closed Sunday & Monday (my days off) which makes it kinda inconvenient for me. So I decided to look to Yelp for a different alternative. In comes GG Grooming who are open on Monday and seems to have decent reviews. I decided to give them a call and was able to get in the day of. I dropped Queenie off within 30 minutes of calling them. I told the lady I wanted her hair cut short for summer with the puppy face. About 2 hours later I got a phone call to pick her up. I really like the idea that my dog isn't stuck in a cage while waiting for me to come but upon arrival I was HORRIFIED. My dog looked so ugly! Likeeeeeeeeeee whose dog is this?! The hair on her head was long while the hair on her body was waaaayyy toooo shorttttt. But I didn't make a fuss and just paid and left. Fast forward 3 months later I decided to come back and give them a second chance because hey, everyone deserves second chances! Once again I called the morning of and was able to get in right away. This time I made sure to be VERY specific. I told her I didn't like the cut last time because her body hair was nonexistent while her face hair was way too long. I want it to be balance and I only want a little trim. She nodded and off I go. 2 hours later I got a call to come pick Queenie up. This time she looks so cute!!!! Much muchhhhh better than last time. So my advice to you is to be very vocal about what you would like to see. What I also like about this place is when I come pick up my dog they give me a little report of my dog and show me if there's any redness on her. The first time they showed me she had some little red marks from allergies on her tummy and the second time they told me they tried but couldn't clean inside her ears because she was very fidgity. I appreciated the honesty because she could've just went along with her day and not tell me but that isn't her work ethic. Their prices are fair, about $40-$45 for my 10lb dog so it looks like I'll continue to use them for Queenie's grooming services. read more

I love everything about this business! Clean open space. Doggy play area for clean dogs with water. Friendly owner/groomers and always welcome same day walk-in/call-in :) maybe I've been lucky but I've never been told no at this location when i call to tell her if shes taking same day walk-in (and i have four dogs at one point) My pooch always come home looking cute and clean :) smell super good and so so soft x) What i honestly think make this place stand out is the way they genuinely love dogs. We've been going to this groomer for about 2 years now and I'm always really happy with the results! The prices are reasonable and the groomer is really good with animals! A few years ago, I took my dog to another groomer who shaved his hair so low that they damaged his hair follicles and he was no longer growing his beautiful pomeranian coat. After a couple of years of getting some tender love and care from this groomer, my dog has gotten his full coat back! The only negative I can think of is that the owner doesnt have great customer service on the phone. She has a heavy accent, somewhat hard to understand, and is not really friendly on the phone. In person, she's totally nice though. Their groomers shop is also clean and well maintained so I cant give them any less than 5 stars!! read more

I came in and there was only one lady in the back at the time, it took a little while for her to notice I came in but once she did she was very friendly and asked for my name, my dogs name, and a phone number. The lady is very sweet, although her accent sometimes makes it hard for me to understand her. However, in about two hours my dog was ready for pick up and I was pleased with the job she did! My dog smelled so good and was so soft, and super excited to see me! The groom came with a fur cut, nail trim, and shower. The total came out to be $40 + tip for a small dog! I am very surprised this groomer is still in business. I took my precious dog here back in 2016 my dog eye popped out and groomers called me after 30 minuters later saying there was a problem with my dog. when I arrive my dog eyeball popped and took to the emergency right away. The groomers were not sure what happened. I am pretty sure they knew what happened and wanted to keep it a secret. Eventually my dog lost the eye and all they say was it was not their fault and they have no responsibility or so. I took my dog with perfectly good two eyes and my dog was in perfect condition. They did not say sorry and only told me did not know what happened and it is not their fault. They told me come back later for a free hair cut!!! Please do not go here!!! I love this place! I've tried so many groomers and none have given me what I wanted nor did they show as much love to the dogs as the ladies who work here do. My dog, Bebe, was in dire need of a haircut, tear stain removal, and nail trimming. Her face was brown with stains, and she had tangles all over. I showed pictures to them of how I wanted her hair cut, and she came out so cute. For the most part, her tear stains were gone but I'll have to do some maintenance there myself to keep it clean and not crusty. As people before have mentioned, I love the play area instead of cages. When I went in to pick Bebe up, I found her in the play pen with one of the ladies. Overall: super kind and loving workers, decent price ($45 for flea shampoo, haircut, nail trimming, anal glands, ear cleaning), and pretty quick service (1.5 hours for me) Super satisfied and I will definitely be coming again! read more

Came here for the first time today with my little Milly (Maltese-poodle mix), and I have been burned by so many groomers in the past. Today, GG Groomers did not disappoint! I came in on time at 10am and Milly was done at 1pm. I really love their prices, service, cleanliness, and that their kennels & grooming stations are at the front of the store! I rescued a puppy yesterday and brought him here because this place seems great with all them 5 star reviews. I trusted you Yelp, but you betrayed me. I just picked him up and realized the whole right side of his face is razor burned and cut. I understand that he was matted, but as a professional, she should be able to avoid hurting my dog, especially in the facial area, next to the eyes. As a new dog owner, I've been relying on Yelp & word of mouth for all my dog related services. After a weekend at a dog sitters, I needed my dog smelling fresh and clean. I called GG Grooming on the way from the sitters and they answered promptly. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, I figured they may be quite busy. She let me know that I could come in that afternoon. I read the reviews that the owner is Korean so I used my limited knowledge to explain he's a short hair, needed a bath and his nails trimmed. Easy peasy. The space is adorbs! There was a cute lil dog waiting in the gated area. Lots of pet and dog puns on the decor. I was asked to sign in and list my cell for a prompt call when my dog was ready. I dropped him off about 130ish and he was done by 230ish. Now one thing I actually really liked about GG Grooming is the attention to the dogs' temperaments. There was one dog that was a bit more excited and friendly than the one waiting in the gated area. They were kept separate and the staff were very mindful of keeping the dogs safe and apart. When I drove up to pick up my dog, he was already staring out for me through the window. It's a clean space and I'll definitely be back. Don't forget to tip your groomers! Cash is best. read more

Last minute, I relied on Yelp to help me find a place to groom my puppy and this place took walk -ins. I took her in at 1pm and they were done at 5:30pm. That's pretty long, but I was out doing stuff, so not a big deal. First of all, the place was really clean and cute. The owners are two older Korean people (a couple, I'm assuming) and they were so sweet. You can tell right away that they love the dogs they work with. I got to witness them grooming her because I came a little early and both were so gentle and great at handling the dogs there. My puppy got the full grooming and it was $40. She smells sooo good and as much as I loved her fluffy, she needed to be shaved and she looks pretty cute still. They put on a little bow for her also and now she actually looks like a girl hahaha. I was very picky with choosing a dog grooming place, reading all the reviews about people cutting the dogs and making mistakes, but I'd definitely recommend this place and I'm definitely coming back :) read more

I've been here MANY times to say this place is awesome! It's definitely a place I can trust my dog with. The ladies here are super friendly and they ask how you want the haircut before you leave. I love when I come to pick up my dog and seeing that she's playing/sleeping in the playpen rather than being inside a cage. I'm pretty picky with how I want my dog to look and if you ask them to redo the cut, they'll do it with a smile, no questions asked. I love when the owner talks to my dog like she's a human child, by saying things like "oooh you're doing so well!" and "aww you don't like this huh I'm sorry I'm almost done". I woke up this morning wanting to drop off my toy maltese dog, Rooney, at a groomers so he could be brought back to his original cuteness. Problem was I had work starting at 9AM so my plan was to find a shop that was open at 8AM so I could drop him off then pick him up after I got off work. Luckily I found this store and decided to call them to see if they could take him in (without an appointment). Unfortunately, I was told that they only take in dogs starting at 8AM if an appointment was made, so I told the kind lady my situation and she said 8:30AM was the earliest I could bring him in. Sadly with my schedule I could not do so :( Luckily, my significant other had the day off of work and I asked her to call the store so she could make an appointment today for Rooney to be brought in at a later time. And thank the heavens I had her do that!!! Rooney was in their precious and careful hands and was returned to us looking back to his original cute self! We had them give Rooney the puppy cut and you can see in the pictures how great of a job this store had done. His ears were also cleaned, eye boogers removed, and toenails clipped. I definitely plan on bringing Rooney back here again as soon as the time comes for another grooming and urge whoever may be reading my review to go ahead and try this place out! -P.S., please give the nice lady at the store some patience as she may be the only one holding down the storefront.
