Extremely well priced and friendly service. They take their time and do things right. I have taken my 80 lb Siberian Husky Luna 4 times now, and she is always happy and super clean when I greet her! What a great father and son team! Thanks again guys! P.S. cutest bandanas too ;)
Tidy shop. Experienced owner. More than fair prices. Quality cuts and Happy pups. I also think our pup has a thing for Steve haha, she loves gong to get groomed.
My little Charlotte was an absolute mess, we took her in to Steve @ Pet Haven and she looks like a doll! It took longer than I'm use too and I was worried my little one would be upset, but when I arrived she was happy and content and Steve was finishing her up, making sure everything was to our liking since it was our first visit. We will definitely be going back, and oh did I mention, he had the best prices in town. Thank you Steve our "Charlotte " looks beautiful! We couldn't be happier
Before finding this spot I had scheduled an appointment at my nearest Pets Mart (which is literally right behind my house) but after looking at the reviews I decided to look for a better groomer and I DEFINITELY made the right choice. Steven asked what I wanted done with my pup so told him that she was shedding a lot and wanted to get rid of as much loose fur as possible. Although he did ask me if there was a specific time I needed her by (I didn't tell him a specific time) he did take longer than I had anticipated but after arriving and seeing the work he did on her I didn't mind the time it took.
Took my 5 month pup today and he looks adorable!!! I called this morning and they made time right away. Most importantly, he was ready to go by the time they said. Also, I gave the groomer a $10 tip because I was so happy with the cut. When I gave her the money she quickly told me that I was paying more then the grooming price and I had to explain I was tipping her. It made me think that maybe she wasn't use to tips, since usually the response is to just give change. So people, this is a service, and I kindly remind you to tip :) Especially since they do such a good job.
First off, thank you Yelp community for all your reviews (even the bad ones) for this groomer! I absolutely love it here! This is a lengthy review but please read it if you have some time because it truly shows how much this establishment cares about our pups! I rescued a 9 year old yorkie (Max) yesterday and this little guy was in desperate need of a haircut. So I decided to utilize the Yelp community to help me look for a groomer. :) Pet Haven was only 3 miles from my home so I decided to give them a call even though it was already close to 2:45 pm today. Mike (the owner's father) answered and I explained my situation and he graciously accepted Max for the haircut and flea bath on the same day (YAY!). I dropped him off around 3:00pm and he was working on another dog at the time. Which at that moment, the owner of that dog walked in and threw a huge fit that it was already past 4 hours. All I have to say is RUDE! First off, grooming a dog is not easy. Secondly, she had a puppy which requires additional timing sometimes. So please, if you bring your dog in here, be understanding, patient and kind because this shop is pretty much a one man show and requires a lot of detail. Sorry, getting back on track here. I completed a card for Max and asked how long it would take since I saw online that they closed at 6:00pm. Mike said it would take a few hours and said he would call as soon as he was done. A few hours passed and I received a call around 6:30pm to pick up the little guy. I was so excited to see him! I walked in and saw that it was a younger gentleman, Steve, who is actually the owner of the Pet Haven. We chatted for a bit and I shared my story of Max with him. He was so generous to give me a collar and leash for Max since I literally had nothing because he was a rescue. I really appreciated it! He shared his personal story with me about a really bad car accident and that's why there were some negative reviews as far as timing. Which all made sense now and put this in perspective. Honestly, to me, the negative reviews didn't matter. As long as I know that my dog is taken care of and I had a great experience, that's all that mattered to me. I will stop rambling now but I really just wanted to take the time to share my 5 star experience here at Pet Haven. Thank you for taking such great care of Max! We'll definitely be back!
Recently had a horrible experience at petsmart with my 1 year old border collie mix. He came home with cuts all over, poor boy :( So I decided to try out this place due to the fact that it has 5 stars! I was worried about how my dog will do because he is a larger dog (70lbs) and sometimes shy/anxious but Steven was very attentive and kind to him. The air conditioning is constantly on and you are able to see the dogs being groomed in front which is a plus in my eyes because I am always afraid of dogs being mistreated behind the walls at other places. I will definitely be bringing my dog back for future grooming! Thank you Steven :)
Very bad, I called them to make sure if they had time before they close and they said they did have time and I went there right away. When I got there the guy left as soon as I left and there was a kind old woman who I gave my dog to wash. I'm not a pro at this but I've been to other pet grooming and they take a while to do this. She only took less than 10 minutes to give my dog a bath. I was very surprised that she was going so quickly, and only two brushes were given to my dog. I don't know if they wanted to close quickly that's why they were so fast and gave me a bad service. I will not come back here again. My dog looked like he just got into a street dog fight, his hair everywhere, he was crying when he was in there. I won't be back and that's for sure.
Amazing place! Every time I've been here he always does such a wonderful job. Not only is the job well done, but the owner is also very kind and fair. And to top it off they always have festive bows and scarves for my dog!
We have been a client of Steven's for over two and a half years and we wouldn't take our Sandy girl anywhere else. Steven and his team take excellent care of her and we know she is loved and pampered when she has her spa day. Everyone she meets loves her soft and silky coat. Steven goes out of his way for his customers when we took Sandy for her trim we had a family emergency and Steven was there saying he would care for Sandy as long as we needed. He takes so much time and care to ensure each dog or cat is treated with love and patience. Reading one negative review tells me maybe someone else needs a little compassion and understanding. All the other reviews are 5 stars and filled with positive stories and gratitude for Steven's professional care. As for time, the business is busy and he has a crowd of pets he is working on, but he is worth the wait!

Took my not so friendly Chihuahua in for some much needed grooming this morning. I was a little worried because he does not take well to strangers. I was expecting a call from them asking me to pick up my little critter. Not only was I able to enjoy a nice breakfast next door at Pam's Place i also took a nice stroll around the neighborhood while we waited. I picked up my very clean and dapper looking boy within 2 hours and from the looks of it all went well. Will be back soon. Thank You Pet Haven.
First time here and first time taking my 4month old Sophie to the groomers. Steve was really nice and helpful and so was the young woman that was there helping him.(: I was so happy with the results. Loved it. From being a little fluff ball and crazy hairs, she looks so nice and groomed and smells super nice and looking all cute with her little bandana. Their customer service is great, prices are good. He really does care about all his little fury clients. I will definitely be back!!.

Thank you Steven! It was Squirtle's first time here and I will definitely come back. The first time I took him to another groomer it took two hours but he seemed scared when I picked him up. But today at pet haven, he's his usually happy self! I didn't have an appointment but Steven took in Squirtle early in the morning and a couple hours later, he was ready to get picked up. I can tell this place really cares about the quality of their services so if it takes more than two hours, it's well worth it. Be patient! For a full sized shih-tzu, the cost was 45 dollars which is great! I got exactly what I wanted. He also got a cute Halloween scarf. You can trust Pet Haven to groom your pet! read more

I used to take to our dogs to Petmart but since this place is close to my work so i decided to take them here one day.... I like his work and the reasonable price. Also the dogs like him too :) I would recommend this place to my friends and clients. read more

This is by far the cleanest Pet Grooming shop I have ever seen. The environment is near perfect with a friendly staff, adequate lighting, lots of room in the clean lobby and immaculate kennel area. I met the owner Steven and found him to be someone very detail oriented, who loves pets and takes pride in his work. This may the reason the shop is almost sterile. I can't imagine that he is going anywhere any time soon. I would recommend checking it out to anyone. read more

Steven is amazing! I am fostering a husky mix for Dogs on Deployment so we have only had him for a few months. He definitely does not like water we have found out. However, I called and made an appointment with Steven and 7 hours later he smelled so good and looked ready for a photo shoot! He has an extremely thick undercoat, so much of the time was spent drying and brushing! This is the only place for us. Jack came home acting like he had been to the doggie park all day. It has almost been a month and he still doesn't smell like dog. He runs and skateboards every day morning and evening. Thank you Steven! !!! read more

Just took my German shepherd in for a fresh, clean bath. I went in at 12:50 pm and picked him up around 5 pm. My dog is really scared with the blow dryer so I guess it took awhile to dry him. During the process, my dog chewed his leash and the owner offered to buy us a new one. Wow! Good service! Really pleased with this place and a great first experience since I have trust issues putting my dog in other people's responsibility. I will be coming back here. read more

Seriously the best place ever! Steven was able to squeeze us in for a full grooming session for our little guy when everywhere else refused to take us in. It was our dogs first groom so I had no idea what to expect. I was excited since he has never gotten a hair cut before but nervous because i didnt want our him to have super short hair. When we went to pick up our dog he looked sooooo good! Totally would come back again! Oh later that night Steven called i think asking when was our dog's birthday....i thought thw insurance company was calling me to ask for my birthday hahaha Sorry for the confusion i was in a super loud area! Not only that...we dont even know our own dogs bday lmao read more

Yelped a new groomer in my area since one of my dogs passed away last week and I didn't want to take Bandit there without his brother since they've been going there together for the last 8 years. Maybe that's weird of me, but we can save that conversation for another day. I called right when they opened to ask if they were booked. They didn't answer but immediately called back and said that they could take him. The place was very easy to find. Since it was our first time, there was a card to fill out with your info, dogs info, and vet info. I didn't get the gentleman's name but I want to say he was the father cause I overheard him telling another customer that his son does most of the grooming work. Anyway, he asked what I wanted to be done with Bandit. Since Bandit was long overdue for a cut, I just said that shaving him might be the easiest, and that it didn't really matter to me. He replied "we'll do something cute, clean him up a bit." I said okay! And went on with my day. I dropped him off at 10 and picked him up a little past 5. This was normal, don't expect to drop your dog off and get them back in 2 hours. There's soooo many other dogs there too, so fill your day with things to do, or just go home and relax! I seriously didn't even recognize Bandit when I went to pick him up! He had never had a cut like this and it seriously melted my heart. He looked so adorable! They did such a good job. Maybe it's just me, but Bandits mood even changed for the better, it's just what he needed. I think we've found our new regular groomer. :) read more

Hands down the best groomers ever. Steven was so nice and generous. We took Tobi in an hour before they closed and he stayed after until 6pm to get Tobi all nice and clean. He said that Tobi was difficult to work with but I'm really happy with the outcome because my puppy looks so much better now. Tobi is a hard time because he is very squeamish and jumpy. He also barked a lot when he saw Steven, so I'm really glad Steven did the best he could to help Tobi. By the time we picked Tobi up, he didn't even want to leave Steven! Steven is the nicest groomer I've ever met. Thanks Steven! You're awesome! read more

It was Beasty first time and he was so scared, I stayed with him the whole time he was getting a bath because he couldn't stop crying. Steve was very patient and gentle with him. I felt really bad when later on my brother told me Beasty scratched Steve several times... My dog smelled good weeks later so I'm really happy with the result. read more

Just had my baby Marley groomed here and I am so please at how darn cute he came out looking! He can be a bit nervous at times, but they did such a good job with him. He came out happy of the place, which makes me happy. The last place he use to go to, he would at times come back scared and that made me worried. It didn't always happen, but it happened one too many times, so I started doing research on a new place. Came across Pet Haven on Yelp and decided to give it a try, even though it's a bit far from me. I love how the girl who helped me took the time to meet him, and introduce her self. She also let him walk around and check the place out, so he knew where he was and wasn't so nervous anymore. This place was definitely worth the drive today! I love how clean and cute he looks and smells. Can't wait to bring him back again read more

Today I decided to take my dog to the groomers for the first time. I researched some places nearby my house, and saw the rave reviews this place had, and decided this was the best place to get his first groom. I was iffy at first since my dog can be a bit fussy during bath time, and I've heard of some dogs coming back nipped in the skin... And since my dog wasn't familiar with a new person handling him, I was definitely scared something was going to happen. The outcome? For $45 dollars, my dog got a great trim, and free teeth cleaning (compliments of Yelp). My dog has never been happier and has never looked any cuter. He came back in perfect condition and wearing a bandana. The groomers were gentle, kind, and patient, and took the extra step of giving him one last extra tidying-up snip before we left. Loved the service so much, decided to give them a $10 tip. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a groom, and I will definitely come by the next time my dog needs a little pampering. read more
