After a bad experience at another groomer's place where they kept clipping her nails to the quick and trimming my Scottie like a Schnauzer (with a strange, bushy tail that was NOT a carrot shape), my girl was afraid. I found Holly, and it was a perfect match. First order of business was earning my girl's trust, letting her explore off leash, and getting comfortable. Not too long after that, my girl would get SO excited just to hear we were going to see Holly. She'd eagerly scratch at the door if they didn't get there to open it quickly enough for her. She'd even give Holly kisses in the face (my girl doesn't even give ME kisses on the face)! Every groom was gorgeous, and my Scottie always got compliments wherever she we went. We even went to a groomer out if state to have her nails trimmed while on vacation over the holidays. The owner of the shop was so impressed with the cut and wanted to know where I had taken her. My girl and I are so sad that Holly has closed her doors. Not only will we miss the excellent work, but we will also miss her and Mik on a personal level. It's hard for Scottie parents to find good groomers who know how to do a breed-standard Scottie groom, but to also love, respect, and adore the dogs they groom. The next groomer we find will have big shoes to fill. read more

A mini schnauzer hair cut is pretty in depth and he's always done in a timely manner and the cut is perfect everytime. I'm so happy I found Holly. I took both of my dogs to her for the spa treatment. My older dog who is blind suffers from anxiety when he is taken out of his comfort areas (due to being blind) Holly was so sweet to him. She held him and talked to him, making him instantly happy and comfortable. It's hard finding a groomer that feels comfortable taking care of a special doggie like mine. I took my ten year old Cockapoo in for a grooming. She had not been groomed for months. She had little knots here and there throughout her coat and some small mats. Holly did a great job! My dog liked like a puppy. She came out so cute and happy. When I got home, I noticed a little nick near the top of her muzzle. I didn't think anything of it. Then. My dog started scratching it. In just a couple hours it was bleeding. I called Holly and asked her what I should do. She was very apologetic and asked if I could bring Hope back. I did, and once again she said she was sorry and put this cream on the spot, then she gave me the jar of cream. She also loaned us a cone for her head to use until she was better. Only after a maybe 4 hours of the cone being on, her spot look 90% better. I continued to use the cream through the night. The next morning she was fine. I am very happy how she handled the situation. She even said if I wanted to see a vet, she'd pay for the charges. I declined. It was really nothing big. Great integrity. I will be coming back! Plus, I still need to return the cone. read more

Before and after pics to show how badly they messed up my girlfriend's dog. This shouldn't even be my business, but the groomer disrespected us by telling my girlfriend and her sister that they're bad owners for a garbage job she did??? Expensive, terrible quality, and horrible customer service. We had an appointment for 2 pm, called in to check at 5 pm (3 hours later) and our dog, Stella, wasn't even touched yet. Then the groomer proceeds to do a half-ass job, shaves her with patches everywhere, and blames us for rushing her when we only called in to check up after it's been 3 hours. She also left Stella in a cage, wet, to air dry, and leaves her tail untouched. Our dog came home traumatized after that day and was not the same as before. It is so evident and clear that she was mistreated. Horrible experience and still received no refund. Don't go here if you actually care about your dog. Trashy people, garbage environment. read more
