Spoiled Ribeye

Spoiled milk to start. Then I ordered the ribeye and eggs for breakfast... my meat was black. Absolutely spoiled and disgusting and they still brought it to my table. This was also our second lousy trip here.. do not r

Gs is a friendly local, family owned restaurant. We come here enough that they know you when you come in. They aren't always fast but they are usually good. I highly recommend the abuelitoes plate (street tacos), they are probably the best thing on the menu. Fajita Beef on corn.

Came to eat here while on vacation in Crystal Beach. We had a party of 8 and we were able to get seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and kept our drinks topped off. I ordered the fajitas and believe me when I tell you, that these were the best fajitas I have ever had!! So flavorful and cooked just right. My husband ordered the street tacos, my son ordered chicken nuggets and fries, and my daughter got the kids cheese enchilada. They were all satisfied with their food. My daughter ate all of her food, and my son even added that the chicken nuggets tasted like McDonald's so he was happy. If I ever come back to Crystal Beach I will definitely eat here again.

Nasty gross burrito
Ara M.

AWFUL! Absolutely worst place here! Our food was cold, gross, flies everywhere and my French toast was burnt and the owner said they would not remake it but they would take it off the bill. We didn't ask for a discount I just wanted French toast not badly burnt and they refused to make a fresh one. Very rude and disrespectful owner. Our waiter was great but the food was disgusting!

Veggie Burrito
Shelly N.

Nicer inside than it looked from the outside. Bright and clean, even the restroom, and the staff was friendly. We had the Veggie Breakfast Burrito and a Barbacoa Burrito. Nice thin tortillas, small red potatoes and plenty of cilantro on the side. Refried beans did not seem homemade but were ok. Salsa was fresh but not spicy enough for our liking. Overall, good taste and value.

WTF. We think this might be a cheese enchilada.

I loved the fried green tomatoes with a sauce that almost tasted like chuy's ranch, but it came with a creamy bacon that was good and reminded me of potato soup. My "top shelf" margarita was only $2 more but came with an extra shot. The boudin balls were amazing flavor, nice & moist cooked perfectly. I ordered the fish basket with 5 pieces of fish and bought enough home to have it for lunch out of the air fryer the next day. Husband had the ahi tuna & said it was wonderful flavor. We arrived hungry & left happy with enough lunch for the next day. Great find and will eat again! Joy, was our awesome server to be sure to request her for the best service you could ask for!

A true Tex-Mex restaurant typically serves complimentary chips and salsa, but that wasn't the case here. The nachos were simply a pile of chips covered with canned nacho cheese sauce instead of individually layered chips topped with beans, cheese, and jalapeños. Honestly, the food at Pancho's was better, which says a lot about the level of quality here. The Cajun dishes were somewhat better, but they still didn't compare to restaurants like Pappadeaux or Landry's. They likely stay busy because they're the only option in the Bolivar Peninsula/Crystal Beach area. The atmosphere and service were the highlights of the visit. Unfortunately, the overpriced menu resulted in a hefty bill that left us feeling underwhelmed and unsatisfied. There's plenty of room for improvement, and I hope the owners from Beaumont make some upgrades to better match the quality their menu promises.

Unfortunately they didn't have it and I had to settle. Sweltering hot Saturday at 4pm. Party of 2. We chose a table outside with a view of the water. Unfortunately it also allowed the biting flies to torture the poor service dog that was with us. And also it was hot. Sooo hot! We placed our orders for the shrimp basket and shrimp tacos. I requested fries but received grilled. Still tasty. And last time I was automatically served sweet potato fries (I fed the seagulls) but this time I was given a choice of fries. I chose regular fries. There were NO seagulls this time to feed my leftovers to. (Sad face) So we arrived at 4pm Drinks delivered at 4:20 Meals at 4:30 The LSU game was on so we were not in a rush. My only complaints were that the restroom wasn't tidy. Service is kinda slow. Even the covered room is open air (so HOT!) The selection of Ts and tanks had changed and I missed the seagulls. lol

Great flavor in the boil and not too much nitro dusting. Great deal at $30 for 5 lbs. My wife and I each ordered one. This included the two crawfish place as well as the cheeseburger my daughter had (this one doesn't like crawfish). Great Place and Good Food…read more My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Katie's Seafood House the evening before a cruise, and everything was great. When we arrived, there was about a 30-minute wait for a table in the main dining room, so we just grabbed the first available table in the bar area. Th server immediately noticed our presence, and came over, introduced herself and took our drink order. We shared the Crab Stuffed Shrimp for $34.00 which included 4 jumbo shrimps stuffed with crabmeat Rockefeller stuffing of spinach and baked in a white wine mushroom butter sauce served with garlic mashed potatoes. We also shared the Fried Texas Gulf Shrimp Dinner for $17.00 which included 8 jumbo shrimps, and served with fries, cole slaw, and jalapeno hush puppies. Both dishes were very good and enough for sharing. Everything was fresh, cooked to order, had good seasoning and flavor, and tasted very good. I wish the cole slaw portion was larger than a small 20 oz souffle cup and there were more than two hush puppies. Considering the number of guests in the crowed restaurant, the service was fast and friendly. After ordering, our food was served hot and fresh within 20 minutes of ordering. After reading multiple reviews and comparing it to other local seafood restaurants in Galveston, we knew we had to go. We were seated with my Service dog, no problem. Mike immediately came and delivered water. It was hot outside. The decor is inviting and the bar area looked well stocked. We began with cocktails xtra Dirty Martini with hand stuffed blue cheese olives and for my husband a Maker's Mark bourbon . This gave us time to look over this incredible menu! Seafood is what we came for so we ordered 2 sharable items: soy, ginger octopus on crispy wonton and roasted beat walnut and fried goat cheese salad. We could have stopped there completely wowed. Both if us love Texas Redfish and it's so hard to get fresh seafood where we live so that caught our eyes. Husband ordered blackened and redfish over mushroom risotto and French style green beans. I could not resist a similar item blackened redfish over mushroom risotto and asparagus. We both were over the moon with the meaty blackened redfish FLAVORS! Risotto was perfectly cooked al dente and both veg choices were the perfect accompaniment! Honestly it had been a ling time since we had such a beautiful meal. Service was outstanding and he even picked up on a comment by my husband encouraging me to order whatever I wanted given it was a birthday dinner. So I was completely delighted when Mike showed up with the final surprise a Creamy NY style cheesecake. So I guess what I'm trying to say is this place was outstanding.
