This place is great. We had our food to go. We ordered the fish dinner, enchiladas, and bean and cheese burrito. The fish was well seasoned and the sweet potato fries were tasty. My husband and kid also liked it. Service was quick and friendly. read more

This is the best place for a sandwich or meal on the peninsula and one of the only where you can get breakfast. Highly recommend the fish dinner and they have great service. Go to most places and you wait an hour for a burger here it's maybe 15 minutes and their PO boys are good also. read more

We came in for breakfast, got seated and got the breakfast menus. Our server came up to our table without greeting us or introducing herself. She started throwing menus around and then left for 20 minutes. When the server finally came back she told us that they no longer are serving breakfast. We specifically came for breakfast and chose breakfast items. After such a horrible customer service we all just got up and left. What amazing family owned business! The fajita beef and chicken is amazing! Best part is the don't just sell Mexican food they have other thing including a damn good burger! And breakfast! So, this weekend was Topless, so I totally understand that this place was going to be busy and that the service would be slower than usual. However, my partner and I were sat for 40 minutes and not one person came to greet us. I ordered veggie quesadillas and the first bite I took was so hot it made my lips burn. I explained to the wait staff that it was too hot to eat and certainly enjoy. He took my plate then returned to the table shortly after telling me that this is the way it comes and if I do not like it I could order and pay for another plate. My wife and I stopped by G's this afternoon for a quick snack. The hostess seated us promptly, said our wait person would be with us shortly. Approx. 10 minutes later the hostess returned and said she guessed she would be our waitress. Ordered water and Extreme seafood nachos with shrimp and crab... yumm. As we finish the second basket of chips the young waitress came to our table apologizing because she forgot to deliver our order to the kitchen... I offered to pay for the water and chips and forget it. She assured us it would be out shortly please stay. Here we go with another 10 minute wait, we were brought the $ 21.95 extreme seafood nachos ... pile of beans, lettuce approx. 6 shrimp and possibly a teaspoon of crabmeat ! Where to begin. Let's start with this is the place we settled on after checking out 3 other restaurants. We were already unhappy, I'll try and keep the emotions out. It would appear that it's family owned and they allowed the 12 year old to be our server. (not really, just looked young) He wasn't familiar with the menu and certainly didn't know the difference between a lime and a lemon to put with my XX beer. Good news was the beer was served first over the tea and water. After the baskets of chips were eaten they picked up our baskets and when we asked for more chips they told us that after the 2nd round the chips cost an additional $3.50. I've never been to a Mexican food restaurant in Texas that they charged extra for chips and salsa! Let's not forget the 2 bottles of hot sauce on the table that were empty along with the 2 bottles of ketchup that were empty. One of our folks ordered a baked potato and when it came out, our server was proud to let us know its freshly out of the microwave. We ordered the "seafood nacho Supreme" which is nachos with shrimp and crab meat. After placing the order our server returned to ask if we wanted shrimp or crab meat. We told him we wanted both and he told us that we couldn't order it that way so we asked if we could pay extra and get it. He had to go ask. Once our food came out, they had used shredded cheese. Everyone else's food was actually pretty good. The beef, chicken, and shrimp was flavored pretty well. read more

The owner yell's at customers because he is incompetent and can not do his job. No one cares if your trying your hardest. The Yelp reviews for this place are a bit scary, but in my experience it wasn't that bad. The waitstaff were perfectly personable and attentive on our visit but yes, the food is incredibly bland and/or greasy and that's a shame. I'm reviewing this based on the area though so when there's not many choices in the area this place is okay I guess. I do have to say though that on my visit the bathrooms practically sparkled they were so clean which was really nice after the horror show that is the ferry's bathrooms. read more

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because their bacon was cooked well. We ordered food over the phone to pick up. A friend went to pick it up & brought it back to the cabin just to realize that some of the order was incorrect and a breakfast plate was missing. My mom went back to the very over crowded & not socially distanced restaurant to try to get the breakfast plate. She was treated very rude by one of the waitresses and was told she could get a refund or wait 45 minutes for the plate that was missing from our order. Let me preface by saying our night wasn't ruined or anything because we were happily on vacation, but holy moly did the service absolutely stink. As we sat the waiter took our drink order and promptly brought them. Huzzah! ...then we literally didn't get to speak to him again for 30 minutes when he took our food order (including queso for an appetizer). Then he didn't come by again for a entire hour. That is not hyperbole. A literal hour. Our drinks were empty this entire time and we watched two tables who came in after us get up and leave in frustration. An hour after placing our order, I finally had to (politely) raise my hand and loudly said "excuse me!" From across the room to get his attention. He came and we were like, can we please get our queso? He said he was trying. Soon after that we got our queso and shortly after that our enchiladas. We think he forgot to put in our order. We understand things happen but what was frustrating was the lack of caring or pep in anyone's step. He never apologized, just sort of shrugged as he sat down our queso. I enjoyed the queso and my queso enchiladas (vegetarian) but my husband's beef enchiladas were super bland and unappetizing according to him. Luckily the entire meal was only about $26, but we will definitely not eat here again. I hate to write a bad review, but be forewarned that customer service isn't close to their main priority. read more

Delicious shrimp and beef fajitas! Nice spicy kick, and the shrimp was not over cooked like we've seen at other places. Food was brought out to us quickly and hot. Servers were very attentive and kept our drinks, chips and salsa filled the whole time. We will definitely visit again when we come back to the area! read more
