They're really nice here, and i really wanted to like this place, but i don't kno what went wrong here. They used the brand OPI, and a top coat (didn't recognize the brand). Two days later the nail polish started chipping, one nail peeled right off like a sticker. Not even exaggerating. The woman who did my nails was super nice, but took forever and did a bad job shaping my nails. I've never had a regular ass manicure chip and/or peel off this soon, don't know if it was the top coat or if was how old the nail polish was, but it looks like I've had this nail color on for weeks. So I've been getting my nails done for years now. Today Saturday February 2nd I came in while it was pouring outside and one of my friends said to go to g spot since it's close to home. I went with my daughter for gel manicure and a fill. As soon as I walked in the girl who sits in the middle with short black hair says "yea?" I then asked if they had time and she said no you need an appointment, we only have time for gel. I then decided to at least stay so they can do my daughters since it's pouring outside and we were already here. One of the girls when I asked looked at the other one and gave her this look, first of all how rude for a first time client. Second the one who said I needed an appointment then finished her client got her ass up and left. No warm welcoming, not professional, and very rude!! These girls are Latinas you would think they would be nice welcoming and friendly. But no!! The energy in the place was off. Worst part is they even have a frame of la Virgen de Guadalupe you would think they would be nice woman caring and considerate. Total opposite! Rude as f***. Never in my life have I been to a nail place like that. Horrible experience!! I am updating my review for this salon, I gave a four out of five stars in the beginning because I wanted to see if the customer service and quality was consistent. I can honestly say that these ladies are all very hardworking, sweet, and talented. If you are wanting to walk in and out in 30 minutes or less, then you can go to one of the many other nail salons and they will rush you in the door and out very quickly. And you will probably be back quickly cause your nails wont last. (this happened to me before) I have had gel manicure here four times and my nails last more than two weeks with minimal chipping. ( I work with my hands all day) I get compliments often on how cute my nails look! But as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait, or plan ahead. So I would recommend anyone to call ahead and make an appointment (they open early) and even still, make arrangements to be there more than an hour or two. This requires patience and time, sometimes people are in short supply of both. But I have never been to a nail salon that cares about their customers the way these ladies do, you can tell they love what they do! I originally posted that I loved this place. Because of the low prices and nice service. Unfortunately only 3 days after I got my acrylics done, I can see why it was so cheap. The powder is beginning to lift off my nail around the nail beds on every one of my fingers. Typically acrylic powder pops off like this when the real nail wasn't properly buffed or filed, or when not enough (or low quality) primer was used. I called Saturday for an appointment but they were full, it is prom season after-all. So I made an appointment for Sunday morning at 10am when they opened. The store is in a small strip mall next to 7-11 and a pot collective. However when you walk into G-Spot, it is clean, bright and nice and you don't notice the busy parking lot of people coming and going. I got a basic pedicure with Rosieo (sorry if I mis-spelled it). She was sweet and took her time. Overall the pedicure was 30 minutes. My only note would be I wish I would have gotten a bit more of a leg rub as that is why I wanted to treat myself. But overall I like the pedicure and she did a good job. Since there were no other customers 1st thing I asked if I could add a basic manicure and Maria did that. She also did a great job and I enjoyed chatting with her. I would definitely come back and Sunday's are nice and quiet. Thanks ladies! read more

I walk in and ask if I can get a Manicure and the old lady looks at me and tells the other I can't cause I am waiting for an appointment.. and the Russian girl more polite said I can do it... she did an ok job, but overall it seems they are just there not wanting to work with new clients.. an hour later my manicure is done and when did the appointment come for the old lady never... is like when your in business, come on in what do you need regardless of the pending appointment, you don't let a client just turn around and leave. The girl that answers the phone is also very rude . Very condescending tone. You will never be able to get an apt from this nail salon if you try . After a wonderful service experience, I was very disappointed to find that my nail polished chipped in chunks the very next day. This has never happened to me before so i called in and they allowed me to come in on Sunday to get them repolished. I went in on Sunday and got them redone but the table was dirty with nail dust from a previous service and the dust got all over my newly polished nails. That is pretty foul and to top it all off, on Monday my nails chipped in chunks yet again. I found out about G Spot Nails on Instagram by doing a search #lanails. It was then when I found Claudia's page... Which led me to G Spot's Instagram page. So I checked out pictures of numerous designs by their different techs and all were really very good work and designs. But the two artists that caught my eye were Rocio and Claudia. So then I wrote an email to make an appointment stating that I'd like to have my nails done by either Rocio or Claudia. The next day I got an email and phone call to confirm that I'd be able to book an appointment. I called back and spoke with Rocio and confirmed that I'd be there for an appointment for the following day at 5:00 p.m. The day of my appointment I was running late. By 20 minutes. I called to inform Rocio that I was going to be late and I asked if that was alright. The lady I spoke with told me that it would be ok... I drove from Riverside to NoHo. (If you are from SoCal, you know this is not a short drive, especially w/traffic) So now for the part that was my least favorite... When I got there I told them about my 5:00 p.m. appointment with Rocio and then another lady, (I don't know her name) said to me Rocio was not there, I had to go with someone else. I was puzzled at first, but I didn't mind so I sat down to wait. While I waited, I kinda got a vibe that wasn't exactly welcoming... I felt like I was an inconvenience more than a new customer. I even said to my cousin who came along with me, I didn't think they wanted to wait on me, but I'm patient and I didn't drive all that way for nothing so I waited for about 10 minutes then I was called to sit at a station. So I asked the cool girl with the purple hair what her name was and she said "Claudia" so right then and there I was relieved and I complimented her on her work because she does DOPE nails. She asked me about how I found out about her and the shop, and I told her the story. We had cool conversation and cracked some jokes about what was on the TV and me getting used to my nails... I was nervous about the length because it's been so long since I've had my nails done, but Claudia helped me embrace them and made me feel comfortable. Claudia gets down on nails. She took her time and paid attention to detail. By the time she was done I felt like a princess. I LOVE MY NAILS! I can't stop looking at them and playing with them and finding reasons to point at stuff. All in all my experience at G Spot Nails was cool. With exception of when I first got there, everything else was pleasant. Clean and elegant environment. Nice and quiet, plus the air wasn't overpowered with chemical fumes. I'm very picky about my nails, simply put, I'm a brat. The one downside is that it took and hour to do my pedi, and a little over two hours to do an almond shape with no design just a simple white coat of polish. Please make sure to have more than enough time to spare, I could only imagine how long a design might take. I had Blanca work on my nails and the amount of time and careffort she took to do them was appreciated. I just wish it would've been a tad bit faster. She made everyone of my nails the same shape and made sure that my nails were free and clear of polish before I left, and it was clean. I LOVE my nails, just not so much the time it took. They do not offer eyebrow waxing yet. This location has been here for two months so they are still implementing new services. Looks like the nail tech specializes in custom nail shapes like the edge.
