They make mistakes constantly, are disorganized, yet are not accountable for anything that they do. The irony of the power of being a collections agent - they are able to harass people, act disrespectful and rude. This puts recipients in the position of ignoring that information or paying for court records (~$20) to investigate whether it is actually them or someone with the same name. A professional law firm is equipped to investigate on their end at a lower cost (e.g. knowing which pages of which records to pull to cross-reference an address, likely lowering the court record cost to $1-2) prior to sending targeted letters. Kazerouni Law Group does not bother, they have likely done a cost-benefit calculation that marks this level of diligence as not worth their time and money. They prefer that the recipients of their ads shoulder the higher cost.

This firm charged my card $407 on 2/18/2020 before I agreed to file. After it was determined that it was not feasible for me to move forward, I noticed the charge and verbally requested reimbursement. I was told that it was would be returned in the form of a check in the mail...that was 17 days ago. I called one of the other "attorneys" on 3/4/2020 to demand my money back, only to be belittled and eventually hung up on. I was encouraged to write this negative review by him and, with what was perceived to be a threat of retaliation by the firm.
