I just had an amazing experience working with G22 Painting Pro. From the moment I solicited a quote via Yelp, Marlon, who was my primary point of contact was responsive to all my inquiries. He scheduled an appointment to meet me at the house to give me a quote and was on time. Once he provided me with a quote, which was competitive against other quotes I had received, and we set the date for the work to begin, Marlon and his team exceeded all of my expectations. He initially estimated 10 days for the full scope of work which was for a 4 bed 3.5 bath home with different colors in each space, but finished after just a week, even with minor changes and drywall repairs requested along the way. They were the most competitive on price, brought all needed supplies, covered all furniture and I haven't found a single misplaced drop or splash anywhere. We scheduled with G22 to paint the outside of our cabinets in our kitchen just to spruce things up a bit and fix some blemishes from a previous painter that we had in. We agreed on a price for the job, and I had multiple conversations over text and spoke to Marlon once on the phone to confirm the job and no mention was made of a price change for the scope of work we were having done. Then yesterday, after we spent all day emptying out all of the kitchen cabinets in preparation for the job to start this morning, I get a text fifteen hours before the job was supposed to begin, saying that they misquoted the job, and that now the price of the job was going to be double what we planned for. Having had a nightmare experience with another company in the past in having the kitchen painted, we canceled the job due to having a bad gut feeling about what was to come. Marlon was supposed to have called me, but never did, and we just lost out on a project that we were really excited for. I didn't like how all of the sudden at zero hour the price doubled. I am upset with how this project was treated and how we were treated. I don't know if they got another higher paying job that they wanted to take on instead and this was their way of backing out, but I have a very bad taste in my mouth from the experience. I also found that I needed to send messages a couple of times to get a response, which I didn't love either. I even texted and tried calling Marlon over the weekend(Saturday) and got no response or call back. It seems like we dodged a bullet here, but we were genuinely excited at the prospect of getting the cabinets painted, as they came in with the best price and they also have great reviews, so it's a little surprising on how things panned out. In the future we'll look to other groups to get the work done, and probably spend more money, as we have a kitchen remodel coming at some point and probably would have needed someone to handle that part of the job. I'm sorry to have to leave this sort of review, but this was just our experience. read more

I contracted with G22 Painting Pro to paint the exterior of my home and replace some trim work that had dry rot. Sissy responded almost immediately. Marlon and his crew proved to be immaculate professionals; they came each day on-time and ready to work. Marlon did more than just paint my house he got to know me as a person and addressed all my concerns. He and Sissy were so personable and kind. The level of detail and care they exhibited was tremendous. I have not found a single drop of paint out of place, and all of the edges are clean and sharp. They demonstrated significant patience when we got a bad batch of paint and the trim did not turn out as I thought. They went to the store and picked up additional paint to redo the trim, despite the extra time cutting into their day. They were extremely accommodating. I used G22 Painting to paint my house and they did a fantastic job. The bid was very competitive. I am picky about the details and I was extremely satisfied with the results. I found out that they can also install ceiling fans, ceiling lights, etc. and hired them to do that as well. One of the lights was very heavy and he had to redo the wiring and allow for the extra weight. It was extra work and he did not charge me more for that. He also rewired lights and sheet rocked my master bath wall. It was perfect. I have recommended them to several friends and they too were very happy with the outcome.
