Great food that is reasonably priced. So great to have another solid food option in Seneca. Hoping they will add dinner soon

Waited a half of hour to be seated and another half of hour to be served and the eggs were cold.

Service was great, the vibe was super nice overlooking the lake. And the food was delish. I had the steak and frites and it was delish. Other at the table were really happy with their meals. Everything from rack of ribs, seafood scampi, scallops, and wraps. Nice selection of menu items and everything that came out our table enjoyed. Great experience!

Our group of 8 was seated right inside the entrance of the restaurant and my back was to the lake side view. Therefore, I can only say I experienced a typical hotel bar restaurant vibe. Our server did a good job-even taking a minute to take a group photo for us. The brunch menu had a variety of choices. I chose the Renfrow Wings off of the Shareables Menu and a side salad. This consisted of 13 chicken wings so I had plenty of left overs. I ordered 1/2 teriyaki and 1/2 bbq. It was hard to distinguish between the two, but they were good. I need to go back and give this restaurant another try. This time I'll make sure to enjoy the view, maybe even sit outside on the patio if it's cool enough. I know this sounds strange, but I'm giving them a 4 star in anticipation of that lake view...

This is a sweet little bakery and cafe on the square of the historic town of Pendleton. I have been…read morehere several times and have enjoyed myself each time. One side has a bakery where you can watch the delicious goodies being made. The other side is a small cafe. Although there is limited seating I have never had to wait for a table. I haven't gone on the weekend (pretty sure the Sunday morning brunch would be a different story). A friend and I met for lunch at 1:00 pm on a Wednesday. My friend had the Café Club with the pasta salad and a sweet tea. I had the Quiche of the Day, the pasta salad and a hot cup of Clemson Sunrise (Vanilla, Caramel & White Mocha). The pasta salad wasn't my favorite-next time I'll give the potato salad a try. The service and food were very good. The café closed at 2:00 pm. Since we were still visiting, my friend and I grabbed our drinks and walked a few steps to the center of the lovely town square and found a swing to continue our conversation...but that's for another review. The Village Bakery & Café is worth a visit whether it's to grab something from the bakery and enjoy a cup of coffee or to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch. Lovely outing.
