My husband and I met with Vic to discuss our budget and what we had in mind for a pool build. We went in with a very basic mentality, as our backyard area is on the smaller side, and we thought we wouldn't be able to do much with the space that we had to work with. We brainstormed with Vic and let him know what we would be most interested in to be included in the build, and we left the design up to him (after seeing some of his work, we fully trusted he would come up with something perfect for us). In just a few days, he sent us the design and render. We can honestly say the entire process was very quick, and very smooth. This review is going to be based on my experience on the communication I exchanged with this company while obtaining a quote for a "new built pool" To make it clear, I did not receive any services from them so therefore I cannot review their work!! I had been searching for a company to build a new pool in my home I had recently purchased. Just to give you an idea on how important this project was for me and my family, I contacted them in November and I closed on my home in December, just goes to show that I wanted to start this project ASAP. I came across G6 Designs on instagram, automatically I feel in love with their work. I scheduled an in office consultation on 1/7. My consultation was with Vic but he didn't show so Andrew took me in. We spoke about what I wanted and I made it clear I had a 90k-100k budget. I didn't ask for anything crazy for the same reason. Andrew told me my budget was doable and showed me some pools that I can potentially get within that price range. He then called me a few days later and told me my project will run roughly around 103k (without even coming to my home to measure and look at my backyard) I then asked Andrew if he could come to my house to check out the backyard and so we can go over some options to get closer to 100k and possibly to the 90s. Two weeks later Andrew came to my home and I still thought everything was going well. We went over some options (like us doing some of the demo etc.) He explained how he would do two designs because we were between two locations where the pools would be. I'm not even going to mention the rude comment he made to my husband because it's simply embarrassing. Long story short, I never heard from him since I waited about a week before I texted him and I didn't get a response. I texted him for the second time a week after and still no response. I then contacted Vic via instagram. I got a quick response from him and he was so helpful and polite with me. I got excited again thinking we would keep moving forward. But again I get ghosted for another month. Moral of the story, If you want to be chasing a company and have a budget over 100k for a pretty basic project then this is for you. I think they need to work on their communication skills with their customers/ potential customers. There is no reason to make people feel less than, just be upfront with people to avoid these issues. I'm sure this has happened to many other potential customers that's why I decided to write this review, I understand businesses can get very busy but I think I was more than patient. Again I did not receive any service from them. I contacted another company and within a period of two weeks they (came to my home, provided a 3D virtual design, quote, and contract signed) and to this day they continue to give me updates not once have I been the one reaching out. read more

Where do I begin? My wife and I had looked into getting a pool some 20 years ago. Unfortunately, we let other people talk us out of doing it. (huge mistake) Fast forward 20 years, and we got that bug again. (No, not Covid) We begin the process by calling around and getting phone estimates. Not having any idea what the prices were, we wanted to put out feelers just to see if it was even possible for us to get a pool. After some researching and speaking to a few builders, we both decided that it was something that we could fit into our budget. So, we decided to move forward with the process of getting legitimate estimates. We received bids from the largest to the smallest of companies. (8-10 bids in all) All the companies submitted their renderings and we had two companies that stood out from the rest. We had planned on signing with one of those two companies the following Monday. (would have been a huge mistake) As I was scrolling on Facebook Sunday morning, a pool design popped up on my timeline. It caught my eye because it had details that I hadn't seen in too many other pool designs. So I started to read the comments in the post. The comments were very positive. After looking at his Instagram page and seeing his pool builds, I decided to send him a text. As I was exchanging texts with him, (Owner, Vic Garcia) he was pulling up my property from satellite images. He was able to give me a rough estimate of what I was looking at building. After my initial conversation, I knew G6 Designs would be our pool builder. I called my wife and told her that G6 was our company. I told her that I got a very good vibe and my gut tells me this is who we need to go with. I said from down one that I wanted to get the most BANG for my buck. That's exactly what G6 offered in our original conversation. From the beginning of the process, Vic and his team met and exceeded all expectations. His design wasn't a typical cookie cutter design as was most of the other bids that we received. It was exactly what we wanted. Modern, new age and party ready. We started this process at the high point of the Covid pandemic, so we were expecting delays and setbacks. Those setbacks never came. Once the permits were issued, Vic and his team were ready to go. The total build time was 12 weeks and that's with rain delays, some product back orders and change orders from me. I know you hear horror stories about contractors but this was far from a horror story. This was the easiest process that we ever could have experienced. Lastly, the contract price never changed! The price guaranty was also a great incentive in signing with G6 designs. The contract price never changed even though Victor upgraded our coping and numerous other items to make sure we had the pool of our dreams. We definitely did not expect that! Vic and his team added that personal touch that you typically don't get from other contractors. I would text Vic at all hours with questions regarding the build. Not once did he not answer my text, no matter the hour. If you are looking at getting a pool, I would highly recommend G6 designs. Vic has put together a great group of guys that are friendly, and extremely hard working. I was fortunate enough to be working from home during the build. So, I got a first-hand look at the detail that went into the process. I was always out with the crew asking questions and trying to educate myself on the process. Not once did I ever think that these guys wanted me to leave. They were kind and very straight forward with their explanations. I was working with an unethical contractor for a year, constantly being given the run around on project completion date, cost, and blame was constantly on the city rather than the company's inability to pay their bills. I was referred to G6 on a Saturday morning by a friend who completed a remodel on her pool with them. I immediately called and was not expecting the level of Customer Service the company provided me and my family. Vic the company owner arrived at my house on a Saturday afternoon when we are at least two hours away from his headquarters with samples of plaster. He might have heard how defeated I sounded or I was damn lucky. This company is the unicorn in the business if they commit to building your pool you are in good hands. They put me first and prioritized my project because they have the right connections and the funding necessary to get the job done. I highly recommend G6 if you are looking for a pool. Everything was easier than I expected. They arrived on time, honest, professional, reliable and had reasonable pricing. After numerous consultations with other pool builders we decided to go with G6. Vic came out and seemed honest and straight forward. Our buildout started June 10th and finished August 15 just in time for my daughters birthday. The crew was efficient and clean (well, as clean as they could be)!! Lol. In order for us to pour our concrete and get the yard we were wanting, we needed a shed moved from one side of the house to the other and the only way was to use a crane service. With Covid, it was hard to find a company that was available to do it. Vic found a company to come out to get the job done. Once the shed was moved, it literally took a week to finish the job. After the pool was done Vic had his right hand man Cesar come to do the clean up. Cesar pressure washed our concrete, windows and stucco. He left our backyard and front yard so clean. We had been talking about getting a pool for many years . We finally decided to go for it. We talked to other pool builders but we decided to go with G6 Designs. That was the best decision we made. Victor the owner is very professional, knowledgeable and upfront. We told him what we wanted and price point we wanted to stay at roughly. He emailed us a design so there was no guess work. From day one the process was very smooth. His guys were always here on time, they are very professional and definitely know what they are doing. They pay attention to details which is very important to us. They always cleaned up and even pressure washed so it would stay clean. Communication was great with Victor. He was always there to answer any questions we had. He also came to check on the progress and made sure we were happy. It took about 2 months for our pool to get done once we got city approval.
