This is my second time coming here, first time I received a lash service to which I loved. Customer service has always been phenomenal both times I went. I'm very disappointed on the quality of service I have received today. I came in for threading and a tint. I wish it was communicated before that the application process that it went on very dark and proceeded to light up, as I have an important meeting tomorrow and will be forced to sit in with essentially back eyebrows... I wouldn't have tinted them if they weren't going to at least attempt to match my hair color. As for the shape... I came in with them very overgrown, it had been a while since I've gotten them done last. I told her three times that I wanted them thinner and an arch but for whatever the reason she couldn't follow those steps. She was very lovely and kind I can't express that enough, but wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I am appalled and extremely upset at the service I received. This was my second time there and I asked for eyebrow threading and eyelash tint with curling. I explained many times that I use retinal products so please do not do any waxing and please to thread. My eyes were closed during the brow service due to the lash service. When I got home, I had red and painful tender skin (burns) around my eyebrows and realized they had used wax instead of threading because this has happened to me before (long time ago elsewhere). Not only that, but the eyelash curl and tint (which I also have done before but elsewhere) shows no visible difference from before. I called really upset about the services I received and they refuse to give me a refund. I have nothing but great things to say about Gabi & her team! The location is CLEAN, and well kept! The staff uses gloves, washes their hands, and uses hand sanitizer! First time doing an eyebrow microblading procedure. I have to say that Gabis Studio is squeaky clean and organized. Her staff are extremely welcoming. I enjoyed the playlist of music and yummy coffee/treats at the reception . The process was extremely pleasant and went beyond my expectations. Staff was very kind and pleasant! Place was very clean. Service was comfortable but my services were not up to par. I purchased a Black Friday deal for lashes for 100$. I got my lashes done with the hybrid set. The lash technician was so kind but 70% of my lashes have fallen off after only 3 days. Very disappointed! Update: I contacted support and Gabi reached out and handled this so professionally. Super impressed with how they do business and would recommend using them for their eyebrow services for sure! I have been here twice the first time was decent, nothing I would brag about but passable. This second time though I literally am trying not to cry. I really wanted to like this place. I was super excited to be getting my eyebrows done, since it's been awhile and my girl who normally does them moved out of state. After doing my research I found Gabi's and thought they would be the best fit for me.....I WAS SO WRONG!! I just went in for eyebrow design and wax with Andrea, and left with a thermal burn to my right eyelid, more hair taken off then I wanted, and a next day trip to the eye doctor cause my eye had swollen shut. When I met with Andrea I explained to her all the face products I use and even told her the brands by name. I asked her if she recommend threading or waxing and to do which ever she felt most comfortable with and what she thought was best, since I have done both techniques many times in the past. She began by mapping, which is great. She then asked if she could trim the top, I said, sure...just not to much. She said don't worry I understand, I guess I should have been worried from that point on. She then waxed my eyebrows, it did feel a little extra hot at the time, but since it had been like 5 months since getting my brows last done, I thought maybe I had just forgotten how hot it gets. Nope, she actually burned me!!! When she was done I told her she had taken to much hair and she said it's where the mapping is, and then pulled up the before and after pic, in which I showed her in both photos where I thought she took to much and where there was hair in one part that definitely shouldn't have been taken from. I left kind of mad, but still tipped, since that's just common practice for services. The girl at the front, said sorry you don't like your brows and I got in the car. In the car is when I noticed I had burn marks. I immediately called my best friend who is an esthetician, and asked her what to do. She said, oh yeah...definitely a burn and they probably had the wax to hot and left it on to long. So I followed her instructions, of cleaning well with a mild soap and a little aloe. But then the next morning my eye was swollen shut, so I made an emergency appointment with my optometrist. He confirmed it was a bad thermal burn, and the swelling was due to the trauma on thin soft tissue, and ultimately was thankful it didn't cause any further damage to my actual eye. I was so upset, I couldn't even call to explain my situation. Thankfully my husband reached out for me, and told them. They did refund my money and offered me to come back and get a threading with the owner, but no way am I walking in there ever again. PLEASE BE CAREFUL when going to this place. I know my incident may be a rare one, but it definitely happened, and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

I wanted to really love this place. But I'm sad I did not :( I went for Eyebrow Design because I desperately needed some shape to my eyebrows, an arch. I walked in and the place was clean and cute. Front desk was so nice. Michelle was going to handle my brows. As a person, Michelle was so sweet! We both recently moved from Florida so we had that in common. Great conversation. She started to "shape out" my brows, making lines on my brow line from what I felt since my eyes were closed. I trusted the process. Once she showed my eyebrows to me, I was disappointed to say the least. There was no arch. No shape. It felt like my eyebrows were so masculine. I have nice and thick eyebrows so I don't see why there wasn't more done. She told me I need to use Castor oil to fill in the gaps. Again I think my brows were enough to give me what I wanted. I live about 35 minutes away from Gabi Brows, but it is always worth the drive to come out here. The staff is super friendly, and despite only coming in a few times before today, the woman working the front desk remembered my name when I went to check in. The interior is super cute and clean and has a great vibe. I never feel uncomfortable or out of place when I'm here, and as someone who has severe anxiety about going to new places, that is super important to me. I've seen a few different estheticians here and the end result is always consistent and exactly what I hope for. Personally, I'm not too picky about how my eyebrows look and I come here mostly to get them cleaned up. The eyebrow design is great for that because they map out your facial features and then tailor your brows to that. Don't be too quick to judge how your brows look when you have just finished; the estheticians typically brush them out and upwards at the end so they might look a little crazy, but you just have to brush them out and style them yourself when you get home. As far as I can tell, most of the staff here is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, so they can serve a wide demographic of people. They are appointment only, so make sure to call or go online before coming in. I will be coming back here for a long time. :-) read more

Awful! I thought this place was going to be really good but its ridiculous! First of all, they charge $25 for a consultation, really? Shouldnt consultations be FREE? I wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed, its been 2 years since Ive had a touch up. When I get there I check in then get taken back by the technician, she looks at my brows for 2 seconds and says they are too dark to be microbladed...how? All of the pigment is gone from the last time I got microbladed over 2 years ago. She says that I would need laser pigment removal before she could microblade them. What I think was Gabi was on the other side of the room feeding the tech things to say to me, which is messed up because Gabi didnt even look at my brows, how could she even know what they look like or what they need? Is this just their way of making money and ripping people off? Or does she just not want to service certain people at her establishment? Either way not a good look. The so called consultation that was very disappointing lasted total of about 4 minutes and cost me $25. What a waste of money, I might as well have taken $25 and burned it! Not to mention it costs $750 for Gabi herself to work on your eyebrows...that is crazy, who would pay that much? Especially when Ive seen a lot better work else where. Luckily, I came across Betty Brows in Hiram! Amazing and talented staff and their consultations are actually FREE!! I wanted get my eyebrows lash lift designed for my birthday from an experienced or highly rated lady but it was scheduled weeks out. Starting out I know that one of my eyebrows is skimpy. Since my official birthday design and lash will take forever and they called me to let me know someone is available during the week and she has an open schedule lol I decided to try a young lady a few weeks prior. Coming in, I'm leery with anyone touching my brows because of past experiences and I wanted to make sure she knew my desired look but she wasn't Interested lol I could tell because she said I will just map and that will give an idea lol I knew that wasn't a good sign ‍The tint was none existence and it looked like bs lol I could have done better so I said I will give my actual appointment a chance because it was in the next two weeks lol well that was last week and I wasn't much more impressed to be honest. The lash lift was itchy but besides that, I thought it would be an immediate lift lol barely and I followed the instructions. In my surprise the next day the lashes still wasn't lift smh ‍ waste of money. She designed and tinted as well, I will say the tint was much better on one eye because the other it wasn't there. Lol my one eyebrow was perfect but the other was so neglected.
