I've been to 2 other nail salons in search of a home, and I think I've found it. This is a smaller shop in a very convenient shopping center, close to restaurants and shopping. Immediately upon entering, I noticed a neat, clean, and simple-but-elegant salon. The gentleman who greeted me was friendly and welcoming. I came in around lunchtime, didn't have an appointment to get my nails re-dipped, but he had no problem finding me a technician right away. I'm horrible with names, so I can't remember they guy who did my nails, but he was amazing. He was engaging and actually ASKED what I wanted as to the shape and length of my nails. He took all his materials out of sealed bags, which I'm glad to see. He made sure I liked the color once it was on, and I got the extra moisturizer/hand rub at the end. What I did notice the most is that my nail beds don't hurt after having them redone. The entire location was clean and nicely decorated with plenty of pedicure chairs in the back. read more

I visited Nail Eagle on my last business trip a couple of months ago. I called and booked a last minute manicure. The lady they gave me was amazing. I mean it was one of the best manicures I have had in my life. I have been getting mani pedis since 2007 so I know what to expect. One thing is that shops like to stick me with the newest or least experienced person because I am a man thinking I will not know the difference. You can truly tell between a great and subpar manicure. I was back in town for work this week and booked my appointment ahead of time online. I put in for one of their experienced techs. I cannot stand ill experienced techs working on me. You can easily tell when someone is not up to par. My appointment was accepted and confirmed with the tech I selected. I got there and was assigned to another tech. The guy I booked they gave to another client who sat right next to me. The lady was kind but definitely not skilled. My cuticles were not even and a couple days later my hands looked like they had not even gotten a manicure. The same thing for my pedicure. The service was truly lacking. I am so disappointed but they have always done such a great job before but this was disheartening. I can understand maybe switching a tech but make sure they are at the same level as the person I booked. This lady fell short and I definitely do not recommend returning. This is going to be a long review so prepare yourself...... I live around 20 minutes away and complained to my husband that my normal nail salon cannot do "artsy" nails. So for Valentines he did some research on places nearby that do "artsy" nails and got me a generous gift certificate for $125 for Nail Eagle. He was like "treat yourself to whatever there". I just had a baby 2 months ago and going there this Saturday, this was the first time I was going out without my baby. My sister decided to join along, I made an appointment for a mani/pedi and my sister wanted a mani but said she might get more, both of our appointments were for 3 pm. We get there, and what I am assuming as the owner was chastising the front desk staff in front of me, and honestly it was one of the rudest things I heard in a while. I felt bad for the girl, no one deserved to be talked to like that. My sister decided she wanted a color change on her toes as well as her mani. The front desk acted like it was okay, but then the owner walked back over and fussed at the front desk girl for not telling the tech about the toe nail color change. The front desk girl tried to explain that we just asked for that service but this lady was talking right over her, again yelling at her in front of everyone. The next thing was I had an artsy toe and nail design that I had picked out, I showed the front desk staff because she asked me to pick my nail color and I wanted some advice per my design. She walked my phone over to a guy named Brian and showed him, I heard him say he could do it and he would pick out the colors. Within moments a different tech walked up and asked for my colors, I showed her the picture for my toes and she said they couldn't do that. I pointed out that Brian said that it could be done and she told me that they could only do it on fingernails. I have later learned that, after asking the front desk, that the artistic techs are only Brian and a woman named Bee. We, my sister and I, go back to the pedicure area. My sisters experience I will describe. She got the manicure and added on paraffin wax. The girl was new, Emily, and the owner was also on her the whole time, I believe because of this. Instead of soaking her cuticles so they could soften before clipping she just clipped, and cut my sisters nail. As it was bleeding she put her hand in the paraffin. My sister said when she pulled it out she noticed the blood and apologized. During that time the owner walked over and basically told her she needed to hurry up, her 3:30 had arrived early, and removed my sisters toenail polish for the tech. She tried to make nice conversation with me, complimenting me, but I was kinda in shock over this whole experience so I kept talk with her to a minimum. My experience was not good. I got the most expensive pedi, the volcano, and added paraffin to my mani as well. She was rushed, why??? Because the owner kept on bringing tickets over of people who were coming in. They book appointments every 30 minutes apparently. She scrubbed, did a mask, hot stone massage, painted my toes, everything, within 30 minutes. Then, as the same with my sister, she did not soak my nails before clipping. When I showed her my artsy design for my fingernails she seemed like she was going to tell me no. I wanted a straight triangle only. She freehanded it and, let's just say they are not straight. I'll show you the pictures. Expensive mani and pedi, all done within 45 minutes with not even time to clean up after themselves. I was pissed, I thought it would at least be an hour to an hour and a half of spa time. When we went to the front I told the front desk girl that she did great and I was sorry the owner yelled at her. I also asked how long a volcano pedi usually takes and she just smiled a knowing smile and apologized saying it was a crazy day. I then asked if I could speak to the owner and offer some constructive criticism and she begged me not too. She literally said " No no no please no." Uh, okay. Then this other guy, I'm assuming he was front desk too but something was off about him, asked me if there was anything to do to make the service better. I said that 45 minutes for a rushed mani/pedi- 100$ - it was $110 before tip- was not good. He states he was sorry but I came at a bad day, Saturday, and that was that. They tried to get me to book another appointment with the extra funds I had left on a weekday and I was so flustered, I told them I needed some time, lol. I would never recommend this place. Do Not Spend Your Money Here! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! I was traumatized by the treatment I received during my visit. Not only was the service substandard, but I also felt discriminated against and humiliated in front of the other customers. Here's what happened: Once seated with Wendy I asked for the deluxe pedicure with gel, which costs $57. From the start, things felt off. After briefly soaking my feet in nearly cold water, Wendy pretended to clip my cuticles--she hovered the clippers over my toes and clipped nothing but air. I was in disbelief. Then, she lightly ran a nail file over each toenail in a single swipe and used what appeared to be an unclean sponge to swipe across the soles of my feet, again just once. Next, she placed a lukewarm towel over my legs, and I realized she was moving on to polishing my nails without actually performing the service I paid for. My cuticles were untouched, my toenails weren't filed, my feet weren't scrubbed, and there was no exfoliation at all. To make matters worse, the polish color I chose didn't look good on me. Before curing it under the gel lamp, I politely asked if we could remove it. She refused, saying the second coat would fix it. As I looked around the salon, I saw other customers receiving much better care. I couldn't help but feel singled out--like I wasn't valued as a customer. I asked again to remove the polish, but Wendy insisted I pick another color to paint over the gel she had already applied. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she became visibly upset. She forcibly grabbed my foot and used an electric buffer to remove the gel, cutting my toes in the process. When I asked for a color wheel (which I hadn't been offered initially), she threw it at me while I was seated. I was mortified, humiliated, and angry. I couldn't believe someone in customer service would treat me this way. Finally, I told her I was leaving. Wendy repeatedly insisted I pick a color and asked if she'd done something wrong. I told her her customer service was terrible, but I was still charged $33. I was too scared to leave without paying, worried they might escalate the situation or even call the police on me. This experience left me deeply upset and disappointed. No one should be treated this way. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place entirely. read more

They keep the acrylic nail people away from the regular folks so you don't have to smell that acetone or whatever it is. I just moved to Marietta from the West Coast and was looking for a place to get a pedicure and picked this place based on the Yelp reviews. I liked the salon and my pedicure lasted over a month without any chips. I also got a lip wax, and yeah, it was a little "sweat" shop-ish, I was taken into a backroom, one RIP and another RIP and it was done...took maybe 30 seconds total and she didnt even have me look in a mirror when it was done...but it is one of those bigger salons that obviously does a lot of business. It was packed on a Sunday late afternoon. For the prices, you can't expect high end service, so for what I paid, and how long my pedicure ended up lasting, I can't complain. I will come back for a pedicure, but will probably try and find a nicer, upscale place for my waxing. read more

Outside of it being a nice place (as in to loand being able to get "seen" right away, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I had a gel pedicure done and a manicure (no polish) done. The pedicure was alright, nothing spectacular for the price. My toe nails were not filed equally, some are longer than others, and my feet were more "rough" after the pedicure than before. Definitely not worth $45. My main issue is the manicure. It's been a week since I had it done and I am continuing to get hang nails, my actual nail is peeling, the lady didn't use any type of Cuticle oil, my nails weren't soaked or prepped in anyway. Again, not worth the $16 I paid, which is kinda ridiculous since I didn't even get polish. read more

Some years ago I posted a 5 star rating for this salon, but as of yesterday my rating is ZERO stars, but it seems the lowest I can give is 1, and I can't seem to edit it on my phone. I'm an excellent, very regular customer of 22 - yes - TWENTY TWO years!! But the owner has a reputation for being very rude and I've ignored the stories from others it since my excellent techs were there. When the owner turned her rudeness on me yesterday, that was the last straw. Told me if I didn't like something, I was welcome to go elsewhere. HUH????? I hadn't even complained!!
