Beautiful bride and groom at the Gables

Held my daughters wedding at the Gables this weekend. Such an amazing place! Cameron and his family are gracious hosts and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. All 8 cabins are cute and very clean. I only live 10 minutes away but think I may also need a night away - lol. Rented out the entire place for the weekend for the wedding and festivities - would recommend this please to EVERYONE!

Locally owned and manged by kind professionals. Stay a couple times and they remember you - in the good way. We've stayed quite a few times in different cabins. The Aspen is our favorite - this week. There is a sense of friendly community and warmth on the property. Cozy cabin decor. Each cabin is unique; no cookie cutter here. These are mountain cabins you wished were your own. PS - Santa himself lives in the propwr

I really loved this place. Love the old charm. We stayed in Feb in the Birch for a few days. Off season so it was quiet during the week, we were the only ones there on Sun/mon, except sat nite. No snow on ground as February was very warm. We did go up to Dodge Ridge and XC ski/snowshoe. Only 10 min from Sonora, where we have friends, and 30min from skiing. Our rental looked recently remodeled, although the couch was pretty bad. I believe they took some of the furnishings out a few weeks ago and redid the yard around it since we stayed there, according to their fb page. So maybe next time it will be nicer. I'm sure newer reviewers will post something. I think we would like a cabin not connected to another, as on saturday night, banging and pipes(water) made noise all night long from the ppl next to us. Plus people that stayed there before us had a dog, and didn't clean up poop in front of our cabin/tree near driveway, almost stepped in it. Or it could of been a neighbor dog. Idk Owner of property didn't pick it up for over a day after we mentioned it. These are why the deduction of stars. I'm sure we'll come back again. These were just minor things. The prices are excellent too and they do NOT fluctuate from weekend- weekday always the same $99- $130 a night depending on which cabin you want. Close to everything. Check out the cute, mtn town coffee shop in town too. Caffè Blossom. Reminds me of where we lived in the SC mtns. We loved it.

Went to The Gables Cedar Creek Inn last weekend. I called them up around 10pm on a Friday night and spoke with Cameron. He picked up the phone right away...booked us super awesome night at "The hideaway." Loved the cabin, love Cameron and Kasey! Can't wait to go back.

Such a pretty setting for a wedding!

Great rooms very comfy. Cameron is always there for any needs and is always polite. The variety of rooms makes it fun to keep coming back.

Hopefully this can be upgraded to the property where you need a card to access the hall areas. Other than that we would stay here again!

Breakfast had cheese omelettes, French toast-sticks, cereal, juice & fresh fruit. All tasty! The location is close to the freeway, but tucked away on a side street that is private. Because of that, it's much more quiet than the hotels along the Main Street in Sonora (15 minutes away). It is a smaller rink, but perfect for beginners, or spending the afternoon with the kids. This was the first time I been on the ice since I was 10 and it is much harder than I remembered. It was my boyfriends first time ice skating and he got the hang of it pretty quickly. The kids enjoyed it - the youngest in our party had just turned 3 and he was killing it - doing better than most of us. The cost is minimal $20/person and that includes skate rentals. You can also rent the skate helpers for the kids or the adults who are learning. I ended up using one for a while as it was much more difficult to glide on the ice than I remembered. The kids had so much fun, even asking when we could come back or if they can take ice skating classes. We plan on returning before they close for the season.

It is up in the mountains which is a nice and relaxing drive. While I can't comment on the actual lodge since we did not stay, I can comment on how awesome the skating rink is. The owner has been working the skating rink for 45 years! The skating rink is indoors and massive! The have a small office inside where you sign waivers, pay and get your skates. They offer what I like to call "walkers" for the less experienced skaters for an additional $5. The skating fee is $15 plus $5 for skates per person, but there is no time limit on how long you can stay. There is also an indoor seating area that is warmer where you can people watch, but they also have another big area with tables and chairs. We were very impressed with this place and the staff! We'll be back during New Years and plan to visit again! Dress warm if you visit - it is very cold indoors!

Our cabin was nice and clean and had board games for kids to play with. I liked the smell of their complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion that the lodge makes. There are also outdoor games like Bocce and ping pong tables. If you want to relax, the lodge has a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, and massage room. They also set up bonfires to enjoy s'mores in the evenings. We really enjoyed their All-you-can-eat BBQ night in the swimming pool area. The pool bar made delicious drinks. That was our hangout!! If you don't want the All-you-can-eat BBQ, there's a restaurant at the lodge to order food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or you can buy snacks at their General Store. They also sell beer and wine. The General Store has souvenirs as well. Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite also offers glamping tents, a laundry room, bike rentals, and fun classes for adults and children, for example, if you wanted to learn glassblowing. You can also book tours from the lodge. Our toddler enjoyed the kids' playground and I enjoyed the zip-line. The lodge is less than 20 minutes away from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir with beautiful views of a waterfall and it's a 17-mile drive to Yosemite National Park. We look forward to going back next summer and staying at the same location. A must visit Yosemite!! Happy Yelping :)

Unfortunately, no one has been able to assist me when I call. I was told that I needed to email the restaurant manager, Rachel T., but she has not responded to any of my emails. I also left a voicemail, which has not been returned. What happened today was especially unacceptable. I called and spoke with an assistant manager named Sarah. I explained my frustration and asked whether she could assist me or connect me with the restaurant manager. I also explained that one of the reasons we chose this lodge was because it could accommodate our group and had an on-site restaurant, which is especially convenient when traveling with multiple families and children. Sarah's response was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She laughed aloud and said, "You booked here for this restaurant, not to see Yosemite?" I then asked to speak with a manager because her response was completely inappropriate. Before the issue could be addressed, the call was disconnected. After nearly a month of unanswered emails, an unreturned voicemail, and this extraordinarily disrespectful interaction, I am extremely disappointed. Rush Creek Lodge urgently needs to retrain its managers and assistant managers on basic professionalism and customer service. This level of treatment is unacceptable.
