Now that Dr Hammonds has retired from practice, I see Dr. Rangineni for my care and I'm thrilled that the quality of care I receive hasn't changed! Staff is always friendly, and I've gotten to know this awesome group of people very well ! I'm always able to make an appointment within a couple of days of calling, and have never been in the waiting room longer than 5 or 6 minutes before my name is called! When you have a connection with your doctor and nurses, it can make all the difference in your healthcare... Dr. Rangineni obviously shares Dr. Hammonds' philosophy regarding patient care, and I will continue to see Dr. Rangineni for all of my medical needs. The transition between doctors was seamless & easy, with quality of care uninterrupted. I have personally referred no less than 14 patients to this office and hopefully countless more with my many reviews over the years. The proof is in patient satisfaction and loyalty...so If you want personalized, quality care from knowledgeable physicians (and a staff dedicated to excellent service!) look no further! DOCTOR - 5 out of 5 stars First, I will say that the doctor I met with was perfectly fine. Easy to talk with and friendly. No problems. FRONT DESK STAFF - 3 out of 5 stars I'm sure it's a hard job, but FHC front desk staff doesn't seem to be very thorough. They haven't correctly shown my insurance coverage, and this was after I've shown it at least 3 times and my card was scanned. Also, it is impossible to call and speak to anyone without knowing their extension number. BILLING & INSURANCE - 1 out of 5 stars FHC is now owned by Catalyst Physical Group, and I think Catalyst is over-zealous in sending out billing notices. I have no problem paying what I am supposed to, but Catalyst has been incorrectly billing for the full amount because they have been showing the wrong primary insurer. Again, this was pointed out to Catalyst as well as FHC on multiple occasions, yet incorrect billing still is happening. And the patient portal (Athena) is often down, so you cannot easily check the status of any owed amount. This is a very poor customer experience. OFFICE - 2 out of 5 stars FHC is the sole tenant in an older single-story medical building. The building and waiting areas are "tired" and look old. The medical equipment and facilities that I could see look adequate but aren't very "tech-y". Considering the cost of medical services these days, FHC and Catalyst need to invest in upgrading their facilities. That may mean moving to a newer building. OVERALL EXPERIENCE - 2 out of 5 stars Given all of the above, I'd rate FHC as 2 stars. This isn't a knock on their doctors, but their facilities, their ownership group, and the lack of follow-through in applying the correct insurer. Combined, this is a trying and frustrating experience - something you don't want in a doctor's office.

I had submitted a packet late June that Dr. Hatley needed to complete for me in order to keep my driver's license ( I had recently had several car accidents that did not involve alcohol). It is now mid-September and I just found out through the patient portal it has been faxed to the DPS. I have been asking, only to get through to the front desk, for at least a month for this information in order to send it as I also had to get an Optometrist and Psychiatrist to complete a portion. KFM, Valerie, JUST messaged me that is has been faxed. I, not KFM, was to fax it so I could sent the COMPLETE packet, not piece-meal. I am told that my PSYCHIATRIST needs to complete the entire packet all over again. This entire process has been handled very poorly, especially for something so important. I was, never once, contacted by a doctor even though I had asked to at least make an appointment with whomever was handling Dr. Hatley's patients, as she is on maternity leave. I was told it was Lucy, a Nurse Practitioner at the facility. I was refused an appointment. DO NOT put your family in the care of Keller Family Medical. They are extremely cold and do not communicate with patients.

Its a large, new facility, and overstaffed (probably because it was designed by hospital administrators). This means there is seldom a wait, unlike many places that take the AARP Medicare Advantage Plan. My primary doctor is Lauri Ballard, MD, a young lady specializing in geriatrics and Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She is personable, pleasant, and has time to spend if you need it. Adrian, her Nurse Practitioner, is experienced and handled a complex visit that still only needed her skills with efficiency. Christina and Emily (the Clinic Director) are knowledgeable on insurance and helped me with a small problem with the Advantage Plan. The staff and medical assistants are pleasant and not overworked.
