dr Kirby has been my doctor for at least 15 years. I have always loved her and even her nurse. They have been so wonderful to my husband and myself. most of the front end staff are ok too aside from a few of them are pretty rude, but I'm able to get past that because I've always loved Dr Kirby. Well about a month ago I tried to make an appointment and I was told very rudely that she is no longer with the practice, when I asked where she went they rudely told me that she is just no longer with the practice. Later on my husband had to call for his DOT certification and wanted to speak with Dr Kirby's nurse. The front end staff refused to transfer him, and when he asked when he could speak with her, they hung up on him. this truly makes me sad but like her I must move on and find myself a new doctor. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. You really need to have a better front end because first impressions are everything! DR KIRBY!! North Tarrant Family Practice has been sold to Pulse Primary sometime in 2025. This new company that bought out the original doctors are horrible. They make it horribly hard to make an appt and if their app says someone will get back to u about an appt that never happens. They are Sneaky and don't bother to let you know your Dr left and just reschedule you w someone else without asking you first. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy read more

The customer service isn't great but the nurses and Dr were amazing. They made sure that I got a referral and MRI ASAP.

Made an appointment a year ago and ended up with PA Tuck and not Dr. Kirby. On previous visit the PA violated privacy procedures by giving we someone else's lab results. Small observation...at sign in you enter time of your appointment and arrival time. Would be nice if they had a clock. read more

Worst experience ever do not come here I told the lady at the front my name 5 times she couldn't even spell my name or my birthday on top of that for my blood work she put me as a Mr. On top of that the young black lady at the front treated me like I was stupid they have no idea what they're doing at all they were so rude to me for no reason my my doctor was super sweet but i had to keep calling her for her to give me my results never coming here again ever don't waste your time coming here they'll hang up on you and waste your time. read more

As a family of patients of this practice, Dr Hafaeli, specifically, for the last 30 years we had a horrific experience today. My husband has multiple heath issues and a dozen+ prescriptions to manage them. Since the new company took over in March it has been a challenge to get these filled in a timely manner. Bloodwork/Appt. in May to get a baseline set, or so we thought, new paperwork completed. We are on auto refill at our pharmacy and almost every time they send a request it is denied and phone calls ensue. Today was his 6 month recheck and again we had to fill out all the new paperwork, go over all meds that had been denied. Appt time 11:30, Ms Mitchell, not sure of her actual title, came into the room at 12:11 no greeting or how are you doing, just we don't have current bloodwork to continue these meds??? Stated the bloodwork in May was only for a specific med?? Like we were supposed to know they didn't order the correct tests...continued with we are not a family practice, we have these rules and do not have what we need, I asked if the bloodwork could be done before we leave and got "WE'LL GET TO THAT" very curtly. I was unable to stay for the entire appt. in May as I had to pick our grandson up from school, but she insisted we spoke that day because HER NOTES said I was a great support system for the patient. (not that I'm not) but I couldn't have picked her out in a crowd because I had never met her.... In less than 3-4 minutes she stood up said she didn't have to put up with this kind of treatment??? (questions) and told us to find another provider. As she left the consultation room she told the staff in the back office we were no longer patients and to see us out. I do admit in the heat of the moment I did thank her for being such a BITCH! If you are a current patient I hope she treats you better. read more

Absolutely horrible doctor's office. I booked an appointment early in the day with hopes of having a short wait time. They opened at 8:30am and my appointment was at 9:15am. I've already waited over an HOUR. How can someone be so far behind schedule within the first 45 minutes of their day. This is the last time I will be here. They will also bill you for an extended visit when there is NOTHING extended about it except the wait. They are Ripping insurance companies off. read more

Extremely long wait with lots of lack of care. I said I was concerned with my high blood pressure so they took it manual and said it was normal just to get me out of the office. On top of that, I paid upfront and then my insurance paid a few days later. They NEVER refunded me or called me to tell me they had a refund until I got myself and my insurance agent on the phone with them nearly a year later!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

The wait times here are ridiculous!!! I have been here for an hour and a half and have yet to even see the NP! Realized that she is double booked which is very frustrating!! I have been here twice and the wait is awful! Looks like it is time to start looking for another PCP office which upsets me. I've been using North Tarrant Family Practice for 19 years. In the last few years, my wait time after showing up on time is several hours. Today, after waiting in the exam room for two hours, I left. 30 min later they called to see if I was still there, I explained that I left after sitting in the exam room for 2 hours waiting. She said, OK, they just wanted to know if I'm there or not. No explanation or apologies. It's time for me to find a new Primary Care physician and facility. read more

This clinic has taken such amazing care of me every step of the way. No matter who I'm interacting with, I always feel like I'm being listened to and having my concerns addressed. Dr Kirby has by far been one of the best doctors I have ever had and I credit her with how much better I am doing physically, mentally, and emotionally then I was before. Came into my appointment right on time I was scheduled for 4 o'clock with the 3:45 arrival made it at 3:45 on the dot filled out paperwork I was roomed 15 minutes later and sat there for an hour without seeing the doctor. I couldn't wait any longer what made matters worse was when I was trying to check out and have my payment voided the manager was talking down on the person who was trying to help me. She talked to her in a very demeaning way as if she was a child in front of other employees and in front of me as a patient. Other staff witnessed this and giggled. Demeaning people specially in front of patients is very unprofessional. This the main reason why I won't come, people need to be pulled aside and talked to versus being humiliated in front of others. read more

Robert Jackson has been my primary care physician for almost 8 years. The staff are awesome and Bob Jackson has been a great provider. He actually listens to me and have gotten more help since I started seeing him. When you have a "invisible illness" like Fibromyalgia it is so hard to find a Dr who will really listens and cares how I feel. Very thankful for him and all the MA Ladies at the office. read more

I love our family doctor. Dr. Hodgson however the wait time and staff is starting to make me feel like we need a new doctor. My appointment was at 10:30 and I didn't get called beach for 40 minutes. I know it can be a wait but it seemed a little extensive. I also always have a issue with my insurance they always try to overcharge me and I have to explain how my insurance works and "argue" with whoever is trying to bill me. Today they over charged me and I could clearly tell they were getting frustrated I was asking why what was owed was owed. All I wanted was an explanation. I finally got an answer that I now have a credit from overpayment but they couldn't explain why what they were showing was not matching what my insurance website claim was showing. read more

The wait to see the doctor is always outrageous. I've been here four times at different times of the day and every visit I am waiting 45 minutes to an hour in the waiting room. Once I am in a patient room I wait another 30-45 minutes to see the doctor. I am currently in the waiting room and arrived at 10:50 for my appointment at 11:00. It is 11:30 and three patients are ahead of me. I will say the Doctor care is good. They listen to your needs and concerns. It's not worth taking at least two to three hours out of your work day to go here. My advice is to find another office. read more

Dr. Sudha was my doctor while I went there. She is helpful, kind, and extremely thorough. If you need a specialist, she'll get you to a great one ASAP. At 53 I've had a number of family care physicians over those years- and she is probably the best of the bunch. BTW try to ignore the bad reviews. The WORST customer service. Always on hold, no one ever returns messages. If you're waiting on test results, might as well walk-in and get them because they never call you to tell you them (if they even read the results correctly which I've had cases where they didn't and it could have been fatal). I have only seen Robert Jackson, PA but he is always awesome. He listens to your concerns and makes conversation to get a full pic or just to get to know you better. He is never rushing you out the door and is thorough in his assessment. It does get busy from time to time, like any office. I never wait longer here than any other dr office. Such short notices, I am able to get in and get my health concerns addressed in a timely manner without having to stay the bulk of the day in the waiting room. Not impressed at all. I needed to get my daughter in because the school nurse thought she had strep. I called at about 830am and was able to get in that afternoon, which was good since the first place I called I couldn't get an appt for until March. She was a new client - neither of us had been there before. Appt was for 245pm; got in the door about 240pm and had already filled out the new client papers that I printed off the website. They had 2 more that I had to do, which weren't bad and took only a minute. So I got all the paperwork to them, my insurance card and ID by 245pm. Sat down and waited for a bit, got called up to make payment (first time I've ever been asked to make a payment for a dr appt before being seen). No big deal, make the payment, get my insurance card and ID back, then sit down and wait. And wait, and wait some more. While waiting, noticed that the waiting room wasn't very big at all, and it felt very cramped. The decor and furniture seemed very out of date...just didn't look nice in there. Finally get called back in. They do the whole take temp and weight thing, then bring us to the room. Wait and wait...finally the dr comes in. He was super nice and had a good sense of humor. Checked her ears, felt her noids (or whatever they are on the outside of the throat), had her say 'ahhh'. Keep in mind, we were there to check for strep. No test was done at all. Just said 'it's either viral or bacterial, but which is it? There's no way I can tell you what it is.' Um, pretty sure that's why you do the swab test. Anyway, he gave a prescription for Z-Pack and sent us on our way. Total time he was in the room with us - about 10 - 15 mins. On the way out, they have you stop at the reception desk. Which was fine, as we needed a school excuse. Stood there and waited, and waited and waited some more. Now, there were at least 7 people that were there, that saw us standing there, and no one said anything or walked over to help. After about 5 mins of standing there, one lady did look over and say 'someone will be with you in a minute." About another 5 mins passed before someone came over...didn't say anything, just took the paper I had from the dr and pulled out a book. She started looking at both, then making some noises, and grumbled 'they didn't charge you the right amount.' This went on for quite a few minutes, and then she finally looked at me and said 'they didn't charge you the right amount. I can just reverse it on the machine.' This, to me, implied that they had overcharged me...NOPE. Instead of $97, it was now $117. This is a co-pay mind you, on an office visit, no labs or anything. She got the charge done, then asked another lady 'did you get the school excuse for her?' Nope. So then she finally did that. All in all, we saw the dr for about 10 - 15 mins, but were there for at least an hour, At a total cost of $117, not including what my insurance will pay them. The people were not too friendly or helpful, except for the dr himself, and the place looks outdated. Next time I will find somewhere else to go, or opt for Care Now as the cost will be about the same. Ridiculous. read more

If I could rate this less than one star, I would. My husband had an appointment and simply called to see if he could move it later in the day. He called several days before his appointment but when she said they didn't have any later appointments, he said he would like to keep his original appointment. The receptionist asked him several times if he would like to cancel and each time he told her no, he would like to keep his original appointment. When it came time for his appointment, he went in only to find they had rescheduled it to the following Tuesday without notifying him or getting his authorization! Then they proceeded to see everybody who walked in the door before getting to him, even though he made this appointment three weeks ago. RIDICULOUS office staff. Have been going here for several years and have finally had enough of the long waits. When I did ask to speak to the office manager and suggest perhaps they consider not scheduling so many patients so the waits won't be so long, I was given the standard responses of apology. Then the MD comes in and suggests I find another doctor. Guess they have too many patients to listen to suggestions. From reading other reviews, similar situations have happened and their practices have been questioned it seems easier for them to just say so long. It's okay because the MD is more interested in pushing pills in your direction than trying to get to the root cause of any issues you may be having.
