I hired Christian Gabroy to represent me in reference to a non-compete my employer was attempting to hold me to. I had a consultation with another attorney in town, who said I had no case and would have to wait out the time period stated in my non-compete. Not only did she say I didn't have a case but that it was governed under Texas law and she was "not about to interpret Texas law (I had inquired about this when making the appt and was told yes she could represent me)." I met with Kaine Messer October of last year. I paid him an hourly rate I have seldom attained in my 57 years of life. I told him of the systematic racial harassment and intimidation I had been subjected to working for Brightview Golf in Henderson. After I described the racism, he emphatically told me he would represent me on contingency due to the crimes committed against me. He directed me on a nearly year long journey, and told me when I received a "right to sue" letter from the EEOC, to forward it and he would begin his part. I did exactly as he told me. I went through the EEOC investigations and received the letter with the right to sue. I took the letter the day I received it to Gabroy Law offices in Henderson. Before I returned home, they had emailed me a letter of non representation. I am a disabled vet. I served this nation for 12 years. I am a 52 year resident of Las Vegas. I am a victim of systematic racism that has taken over the construction industry in Las Vegas for the past 25 years. I did exactly what these people told me to do, and they abandoned me with crimes that have been committed against me. They do not do what they say they will do. They are cowards. When the truth is told on this site, they run to the administrators to have the truth removed. If I could give these people a zero, I would give these people a zero. I fully expect the cowards that declined to follow through with what they started to try to have Yelp remove this post as well. Regardless, I will repost this truth. I am not too familiar with Yelp as I'm not a huge fan of technology. My lawyer is Kaine Messer, he's good in keeping me updated and helping me out with my case that we've been dealing with since Oct of last year... yes, the process is slow but progressing! now that quarantine and covid moved a little out of the way I'm looking forward in continuing my case alongside with Kaine. So just before Covid-19 hit, I lost my job, due to a falsified report by a shift manager. If that wasn't bad enough, the company then attempted to revoke my unemployment benefits.
