I won't get into the specifics of my case, but I tried in good faith to work with my employer to get what I was entitled to under the law and they drug their feet and strung me along. I honestly feel that they were purposely keeping me on the back burner so that I would either quit or so they could medically separate me from their employment. Either way, what they were doing wasn't right and I needed help. I had done research on the what my ADA protections were and had familiarized myself with the EEOC guidance that they offered on the subject, but I didn't know how to effectively articulate to my employer that they were violating the law. What I found most atrocious is that my employer was deliberately giving me misinformation and would try to confuse and coerce me into accepting that their position was correct under the ADA when they were clearly in the wrong. I reached out to Mr. Piccolo and set up a consultation to discuss my situation and get his perspective so that I could fully understand my rights. I went into the initial consultation with an open mind. It was possible that I didn't have a case, but I wasn't entirely sure. I did pay a fee for my consultation (all attorneys in this speciality seem to charge a consultation fee btw), but I figured it was well worth it to get a processional's point of view. During the consultation he was patient and really took the time to understand what I was saying. I knew almost immediately that I wanted to retain him. Mr. Piccolo charged me a retainer upfront (which is standard practice with most attorneys) and he immediately went to work drafting a letter to my employer. I had been dealing with my employer for months trying to get my ADA accommodation squared away and literally within a few days of sending the letter, things started to move in the right direction. I asked Mr. Piccolo to continue to work on my half and to negotiate with my employer because I was frankly so sick and tired of their BS. He handled everything for me and was ALWAYS available to me to discuss what was going on with my case. Mr. Piccolo is a straight shooter and I genuinely appreciated it. I never once felt that he was stringing me along or trying to run up my bill with nonsense charges. He was always concise and to the point and was as patient as I needed him to be. And as for his attorney fee, it was very reasonable and he went above and beyond to make sure that I fully understood his fee structure BEFORE I paid my initial retainer. In the end, my employer finally followed the letter and spirit of the law, but it was ONLY because of Mr. Piccolo's intervention. I wasted months waiting on my employer to do the right thing and Mr. Piccolo got them to finalize everything within a few weeks of retaining him, and it was based on my timeline and not theirs. This field of law is very specific and it's not a specialty that you find many attorneys practicing in. If you have any concerns that your rights may be being violated under the ADA or even if you have no clue what your rights are, you would best be served to set up a consultation with Mr. Piccolo. The money spent on the consultation fee will help you to understand if you have a case and if you do, what your options are. Making the choice to do that was by far one of the best things that I've ever done for myself. Without his intervention, I would be without a job and looking for a new one. I wouldn't have known that my rights were being violated without his expertise. I am now able to move forward with my employer with an awareness of my rights that I didn't have before and that to me was well worth what I paid to Mr. Piccolo. I am genuinely grateful for what he did for me and I can say without a doubt that you will get an honest and hardworking guy in your corner if you hire him. He WILL have your back and that's a feeling that you cannot put a price tag one, especially when your employer is deliberately trying to skirt the law.

He does free consultations and to make it easier on his clients, he can do everything through the phone or online. Him and and his team were quick to help me with what I needed and he is well priced. Would recommend to any business owners! He actually cares about his clients and is very knowledgeable in business law. The whole firm is very helpful and great at communication.

Mr. Balmer came by the house and consulted with my family and I, and shortly after, we engage The Balmer Law Firm on September 8, 2015, to financially protect us from paying thousands of dollars in repairs. Almost one year to the date, the case settled out of court. My family and will be forever grateful to the Balmer Law firm for protecting our interest. We were anxious and frustrated during the entire process because we did not have the money to do the initial repairs and god forbid one of the kids to get sick from this stuff. We called Balmer law firm religiously only to receive vague responses in return, in -fact, we decided to slow down and call him once a month for an update, which was our way of managing our emotions. They would eventually follow up with a phone call, and/or, email with 48 hours. Finally, we arrived at the conclusion, the less we called the more time he would have to work on our case. To the general public, Initially, we drove ourselves crazy calling Balmer office every week for an update. Please do not do this. If he is talking to you every day, and/or, every week, he has less time to work on your case. If you want the best attorney who specializes in the type of cases, follow his instructions and be patient! My family and I were elated (happy) with the results of the case. It took a little while and we were very anxious throughout the process, but it was well worth the wait. Balmer and staff exceeded our expectations. If you have a mold or construction defect problem, I would strongly recommend Team Balmer. We owe the Balmer Law Firm a debt of gratitude and I just want to say thank you, Judd!!
