Note to self: Never judge a book by its cover! I've passed by this place numerous of times and I never thought I'd be doing business with them. I walked in and was greeted by the "host" she was welcoming and informative. My phone was completely shattered and the screen pixels were shorted. She told me it would take 1.5 half. I figured I would head out toward La Grange to get a haircut. 2 hours pass and it was just getting out the second from last stage. Not only did they fix my screen they improved my performance. My phone was dead. I bought a new battery and still it did not turn on. I was very hesitant on were to take it to get fixed since this would be my first time. Decided to try Gadgetech because they specialize in only fixing phones. Not like other electronics other establishments that I was looking at. I went in the store and the receptionist was very helpful and answered my questions thoroughly. The sim card, cover and memory card were taken out and I was given a receipt stating that they were in my possession. The process of leaving my phone so that it can be diagnosed was explained clearly and also the charges. I left my phone and I was called three days later and was told it was my motherboard. They gave me a fair price and I requested to think about it. They said it was fine and they would wait for me . I made up my mind 2 days later. Again I had more questions and the receptionist was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I have my phone and I could not be happier. I had a great experience with this business; exceptional and honest customer service, the quality of the repair was a phenomenal outcome. Definitely worth every penny; I paid for the service! (It is a small business and the prices they offer are incredibly reasonable and very affordable for their superb services, win=win situation) I am a firm believer in bringing my business to small businesses and it is very hard to find one that has such great qualities, such as this one. I brought my niece's iPod in. They looked at it, told me what the problem was, a part was going to have to be ordered. They gave me a quote, along with an approximated date of when it would be ready for pickup, I accepted. A couple days later on the date that the iPod was suppose to be returned to me, I received a courtesy call from one of their nicest employee (keep in mind they are all nice) confirming that the iPod was ready for pick up. I returned the iPod to my Niece and she has been happy, no more problems with her device and she said it was working great, just as the first time she bought it. Would I recommend this business? Yes, I would definitely do so to; friends, family, acquaintances, whomever is looking for a great repair shop. Found this guys on Google I was hesitant at first but had no option because my phone was not covered by Apple, and I don't like to drive far so it was close! I have a samsung galaxy s3, brand new, got it about a week ago and the screen already shattered after dropping it once about a foot off the ground. I was pretty desperate to find a place to quickly repair my phone and at a reasonable price. The price was reasonable, I got it fixed at $90 with a $10 off coupon that I found online. However, the service was sad! I dropped my phone off in the afternoon, they said it would be ready at 7pm that same day. So I returned to the shop to pick up my phone, it wasn't ready. What a waste of time and gas. I called them the next morning (the lady told me it would be ready in the morning) still wasn't ready.... I understand to get the best quality done you have to be patient, but don't give me false information that my phone will be ready when it really isn't. Anyways, the job done was done! The phone works perfectly fine, and I love that they have a 90 day warranty. Overall, good work on my galaxy s3, the service was slow and I probably will not be returning unless the screen falls off, etc, in the next 90 days. read more

I took my computer to fix the back cover because it was broken so they only charged me $80. When i got my computer fix. My screen was scratched from the right side. It seems some one did the with a key scratch. I was very disappointed because my computer has sentimental value. I told the guy That my computer it wasn't like that scratch it is very deep that you can tell right away. He said the they take care of the thing they take in. And I know my computer wasn't like that much damage form in front. When I got home my computer have a password which I told the that guy that my computer didn't have password and in the bill said none password. He said that it was very cheap for 80 dollars he said that what I was expecting for $80. I told him that's the price he told me He was acting if he was doing me a favor. They fix screens loose sometimes just make sure to come back the next day if it does happen. Overall okay customer service, they aren't perfect but they do get the job done and are very good at making deal. read more

Customer service is absolutely friendly and helpful, the front end desk women was very polite and helped me resolve what I needed to fix my iPhone 6 for only $60 for fixing my charger port while Apple and Best Buy geek squad wanted to charge me $300 to $200 which is insane! I am not one to give a bad rating but this place was horrible! I took my i-phone there today to have the glass repaired. They never bothered to contact me when it was ready. When I called they were VERY unorganized had no idea what I wanted although I had given them $120.00 earlier. I was told when I finally picked up my phone it was working. When I got home and tried it the sim card was missing. I called and asked them where it was and they insisted they gave it to me and that they had it on camera. They made it sound like I was lying. I went to go see it on camera and after waiting a long time guess what they found it by the register, OK me on camera? Liars. This place is horrible I will never go there again. read more

I wish they had the option of not giving a star. Worst place ever! I came to get my screen fixed and they left the new screen loose. I came back and they're like we will check if this was our fault? I mean honestly, how would I loosen a screen? Anyway, they finally realized it was their fault and changed it, cool right? No, then the screen broke that same week, at that point I gave up on going back. The screen they use is of very poor quality because it broke way too easily. Horrible experience over all. read more
