After countless well-intentioned attempts over the years at buying bunches of flowers at places like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and trying to organize them into some semblance of an acceptable presentation I finally put on my grown-up big-boy pants and decided to go with a professional florist to do it all for me. Some of my hesitation was tempered by past experiences with florists that left me feeling empty afterwards for various reasons. My wife has used GAIA to send flower to friends and has always been wowed by their creations and customer service. For our 32nd(!) anniversary I decided to try them myself. Rather than 'phoning it in' I decided to visit their location in the Arts District in person, in part, to get a sense of the vibe. From the moment I stepped through the door my entire perspective changed and that 'feeling' I always strived for would manifest in wonderous ways. I relayed to Ashley that I was clueless as to the specifics of what I was looking for other than I did not want an emphasis on roses and that I envisioned something 'brighter' and 'exotic' (whatever that means). My wife had always trusted GAIA to design a creation using their intuition and the results were always magical so I was more than comfortable requesting the same. The result was more glorious than I imagined. Ordered flowers on 8/6/2020 for delivery on 8/10/2020. I received email confirmation of my order and my credit card was charged accordingly. Today I asked my friend how she liked her flowers, turns out they were never delivered! Not only did Gaia Flowers fail to reach out to me about any issues with this order, they ruined my friend's birthday gift. So glad I finally checked this shop out. Their prices for plants are reasonable nothing crazy! I was so excited to see 5 rattlesnake plants. I was having a hard time finding the plant in town. I went to multiple nurseries with no luck. It's a houseplant that's been on my wish list for a while so I grabbed one. I'm so happy with it. I inspected it and all of them seemed to be well taken care of. The gentleman who let us in was nice and welcoming. My husband (boyfriend at the time) always ordered floral arrangements from Gaia for my birthdays, Valentine's day, etc. We are both big supporters of downtown LV small businesses. When my husband proposed to me and after we had decided we were going to go with a smaller, more intimate wedding (and had effectively removed the need for a florist at all), we decided we would still at least like to have a bouquet for me and a boutonnière for him on the day of our wedding. We visited Gary at Gaia back in late August/early September and went through a few ideas. Basically, it seemed like I would just be able to let Gary know what our budget was and he would come up with an arrangement. I was a little nervous about that since everywhere I read seemed to suggest that I get everything in writing, etc. but my husband assured me that that's how he's always placed his own floral arrangements there and pointed out that I'd never been unhappy with them. Since there really wasn't anything in writing (I assume due to the simple and small order), he told us to come back closer to the wedding day. A little less than two weeks before the wedding day, we visited with Gary again. I brought 5 or so examples of red/plum winter bouquets and let him know that I wasn't attached to any particular flower but merely wanted something in season, in those colors, and within our $75 budget. On the day of the wedding, my husband went to pick up our order just right before 2 pm, which is when they close, and worked well with our civil ceremony start time. Gary assisted in placing the boutonnière on him and I saw the bouquet later (I arrived separately). To be honest, there were so many other things happening that day, that I'm not sure I appreciated the beauty of the flowers until much later on, but everyone commented on how beautiful they were and now seeing them in our photos makes me very happy we let Gary's imagination run wild. I would have given 4.5 stars (as opposed to 4). The reason I can't give 5 stars is just because we had to wait so long to place our order. I felt anxious enough those last two weeks before the wedding that once we did place our order and pay, I felt much better. I would have liked to have that feeling a few months earlier. read more

I highly recommend Gaia Flowers. They offer more thoughtful arrangements and gifts than any other flower shop in Las Vegas, and just as importantly offer great personalized service. In my case, I ordered flowers online for a friend's graduation. The flowers were to be delivered on the Saturday before her graduation, but she wasn't home. I contacted Gary about this over email, and he reassured me that both he and the delivery driver did everything they could to try to get in contact with my friend by leaving a note on her door, talking to her neighbor, and leaving her voicemails. After talking to my friend on Monday, I confirmed that she received a voicemail but hadn't listened to it yet (although she found no note on her door). The nice thing was that Gary called her again on Monday and delivered the flowers to her at her workplace. My friend really liked the flowers and said the arrangement and the vase were of much higher quality than you get from most flower shops. Both her and her mother kept remarking at how wonderful the fresh flowers smelled. (Her mom kept asking her if she was wearing perfume.) I've used ProFlowers for most of my flower orders in the past, but I can wholeheartedly recommend Gaia Flowers if you need flowers in the Las Vegas area. In addition to the reasons mentioned above, Gaia makes an effort to provide sustainably harvested, locally sourced flowers, vases, and other gifts. A couple of helpful tips for those of you ordering online for delivery. Gaia does not charge your card until your order has been delivered so you will see the order still listed as Pending until then. Also, the recipient apparently needs to be home for delivery so verify (sneakily if you must) that they will be around to receive the order. If in doubt, have the order sent to their workplace when you know they'll be there. read more

Gary is fantastic - he came out to my venue to scope out the arch and came up with exactly what I needed. They were very reasonably priced - the only way I could have gone cheaper is if I bought everything wholesale and had my bridal party put it together (which I did for some of the bouquets...but I over bought on flowers and it probably came out to the same price as having Gary make them). Gary even put up with some of my more inane requests - like strapping a gopro onto my bouquet. They loved the idea and executed flawlessly. My bouquet came out exactly how I imagined it.
