The person running the place was super friendly and helpful. There was a keurig machine in the main area that we were able to use at all times which was always nice. She also put out some snacks for us- granola bars, chocolate, fruit, belvita cookies, biscotti. It was perfect for the late night munchies or a quick afternoon snack. I do wish it was a bit cheaper but i guess theres a high demand of hotel rooms in the area. For every room, you get one parking spot about 2 blocks away.

Located right on the Delaware River. Comfortable bed & bedding in clean, well appointed rooms. Sitting out in the balcony was perfect after a long day. Continental breakfast over at the Ghost Light Inn was nicely done. There is no parking at the property but the valet at Ghost Light was convenient - we didn't move the car the whole stay since everything is so close. They kindly offered to have the valet drop us off with our bags and take the car back. Marc and the team running the show from over at the Ghost Light Inn were so helpful and professional.

Sitting on the front porch at the main house and watching the storm is one of my fondest memories. Fast forward to 2024. My fiance and I decided to stay for a weekend. As soon as I walked in, the owners recognized me! With all the business they get, I was really surprised. And it was wonderful that they still owned it. Since it was spring, the grounds were full of brand-new flowers and the trees were blossoming. The scents were amazing and everything was so pretty. There were some fun statues on the property as well. I've only ever stayed in the Main House. They have everything from your basic, fairly small rooms (By basic I do NOT mean bad or boring!) to beautiful suites with balconies, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. Every single room in the Main House looks as though you've stepped back in time, but there are some updates. For example, they have added a big breakfast room. And the breakfasts are still very good, including the fresh fruit. And the smell of coffee... Heaven. Downtown New Hope is just a short walk down the hill. Lambertville (NJ) is right across the Delaware River, and you can walk or drive. I can't wait to go back again, and this time I won't be waiting another 29 years!

We…read morecame here for a girl's weekend and although a bit pricey compared to nearby accommodations; we figured it was worth it to be so close to the downtown area. We were absolutely CORRECT. The Lambertville Station is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway or a girls' weekend thanks to their lovely rooms and extremely comfy beds. We were given a room on the first floor with the most perfect view of the river and part of Lambertville, and I almost forgot that this was the middle of my winter depression season. The fireplace and self serve bar when you enter really give you a nice place to settle you into your vacation. Then they are surrounded by delicious restaurants and cafes to visit for a quick bite. Although make sure to get your free breakfast because it come from a nearby Parisian bakery and although the coffee is as bad as Dunkin Donuts, the pastries are divine. I highly recommend doing a few vineyards after checking in, but if you don't want to go far, Tomasello's has tastings and so does the Food Hall on the side of New Hope (which is walking distance). We also liked that they kept our bags after check out so we could get a massage and therefore leave New Hope in complete serenity. There is also tons of free parking, which is nice compared to downtown Philly hotels where that is usually extra. Overall, I thought it was a lovely stay, we stayed in the Cape May room (I also like that each room has a name) and enjoyed the dark and creepy old vibes from the hotel. It truly made you feel like a part of the historic area.

They ensured our comfort and provided gracious hospitality throughout our stay. I was impressed with the level of detail in our room. They've combined the best of all the bed and breakfasts I've stayed in, into making the ultimate bed and breakfast experience. The property is gorgeous, as is the main house. Country charm at it's best. We bought the package that included outcall massages. We weren't disappointed and neither will you. I highly recommend this option. Chimney Hill is conveniently located, just minutes from the Lambertville/New Hope Townships. There are a multitude of restaurants and shops to explore and enjoy. This is my 4th time staying in this hotel since 2012, and my first time staying here since 2017…read more First off, remember this IS an old property. For people under a certain age, they probably don't remember when hotels and/or motels were basically ALL like this. This place has exterior entrances to your rooms and it is three levels & in the middle there is a pool and courtyard. Because I have stayed here several times back when it was a Rodeway Inn and also a Clarion Suites I actually think they have been slowly doing a lot of decent renovations on this property now that it's become the New Hope Inn & Suites. So to qualify, this is probably rated as a 2 star hotel, so don't expect it to be the Ritz Carlton or even the Fairfield Inn & Suites. And yes, on weekends, during events & in Summer peak the prices are more than I'd typically pay for this type of hotel ($225), but it's still much cheaper than the boutique hotels in New Hope ($450). Our room I could tell had newer carpeting, and I could tell that the walls were recently repainted. Yes, there aren't a lot of channels on the TV and you can't stream and all that stuff but I'm not there to watch TV. The bathroom is tiny, but the shower was fine. It was quiet during our 3 night stay. They did significant renovation to the lobby area and they actually have a grab and go convenience store for snacks & drinks and they also let you have free bottles of water each day for your room. Our room was clean. The rooms have a fridge & microwave. We had no complaints about the comfort of our bed or the comfort of the pillows. Yes, it is an old air conditioning system so it does make noise, but it cooled the room fine considering this was July and very hot. The pool upgrade was impressive & they have a pool bar now too. LOTS of lounge chairs. Free breakfast, free parking. Staff were nice. There is a bar inside too. We would stay again, especially in summer because of the nice pool.
