Last night, we drove from St. Louis to Indianapolis for the Garth Brooks concert at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and overall, I really enjoyed the arena and the experience. One of the biggest bonuses was the location. It was an easy walk from our hotel, and if the weather is warm, you can actually walk through the convention center, which is air-conditioned. That was a huge plus! There were also plenty of bars and restaurants along the way, so you have lots of options if you want to grab dinner or drinks before the event. As soon as we arrived, there were Fever signs and decorations everywhere. My girls are huge Indiana Fever fans, so of course I had to take approximately a million pictures for them! Even though Gainbridge is home to the Fever, I really appreciated that they didn't make the arena feel like it was only about the home team. There were plenty of photo opportunities and decorations specifically for the Garth Brooks concert, along with promotions for upcoming events featuring other artists and teams. It made the arena feel very welcoming to everyone, regardless of what brought you there. Every staff member we encountered, from the people outside to those inside the arena, was incredibly friendly and helpful. And they have a Chick-fil-A inside, which is always a win in my book! Our seats were up in the 200 level, which is definitely getting into nosebleed territory. The stairs were extremely steep, there wasn't a ton of legroom, and as a larger person, the seats felt a little tight. Once we got up there, though, we basically decided we weren't leaving until the concert was over because getting back up and down those stairs was an adventure! Thankfully, the concert itself was fantastic, so we didn't mind staying put. One of my favorite little details was the staff name tags. Under their name, they had the word "Drafted" along with the year they started working at the arena. I thought that was such a fun and unique connection to the team and a really clever way to make the staff feel like part of the organization. Overall, I really liked Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The location was convenient, the staff was fantastic, there were plenty of places to eat nearby, and I loved how they incorporated both the Fever and the Garth Brooks event throughout the arena. My only real complaint was the seating in the 200 level--especially the steep stairs, limited legroom, and tight seats. But the concert was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and we had an awesome night. I'd definitely come back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse; next time, though, I might try to get seats a little closer to the action! read more

Went to the fever game as an aces fan. It felt unsafe. It also felt like one of them rallies where the guys wear hoods... Anytime the golden child missed or got called for a foul it felt like 1953 in this place. I left before the crazy aces win bc I was really uncomfortable. read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience tonight at the Heat vs Pacers game. My sister and I were simply trying to move down a row to get Bam's autograph--something fans do all the time--and instead of handling it calmly or professionally, an usher immediately escalated the situation and put her hands on my sister. There was zero need for physical contact. No warning, no attempt to de-escalate, just straight to being aggressive. It completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun night. We paid good money to be there and ended up feeling disrespected and honestly shocked. And to make it worse, it already kind of sucks being Pacers fans all season during a rough year--then when the team we're actually excited to see comes to town, we get treated like trash by arena staff. That's not how you treat paying fans. Security and staff are supposed to ensure safety--not create uncomfortable or hostile situations. This was handled in the worst possible way, and it reflects terribly on the arena and its staff. Do better. read more

The entrance to this location was very easy to access, going through Security was super simple and this facility is large and clean. I think it's a pretty stereotypical Fieldhouse larger place where you can host concerts and or sports games. We have pretty good seats and definitely felt safe and the area was super clean. Would recommend and if there is an artist here worth a drive, we will for sure be back. read more

Went to a Fever vs Aces game. WOW!! Fantastic movement of large crowds. Plenty of volunteers and workers helping to navigate where to go. There were long lines everywhere even to get in the Team store but, lines went fast and in orderly fashion. The game was great to see Live. Even commercial breaks, there was so much happening! It seems they threw out 2 unruly guys that were seated in the floor area. So much excitement for 3 hours of great Basketball! The place was full of happy Fans screaming for their favorite team; Loud, Proud and full of FEVER Spirit! read more

Amazing time at the Cardi B concert. However, to get in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse took a very long time to get in. The lines were insane. There was no control Flo. He could have had people controlling the flow of the lines to make entry a little easier. Everybody was at a standstill, and was wondering what was the holdup. The bathrooms at this venue, you could have been much more cleaner. The merchandise was horrible for the concert. Even driving downtown, there were no police on the streets to control traffic, on top of that it was a lot of traffic with the St. Patrick's festivities. read more

I most recently came for a fever home game which I try to get to a bunch of fever games during the season. As always it's very easy to get in and out of the fieldhouse. The security does really well at checking everyone and making sure you don't come in with any bags over the size that it has to be to be able bring it in. There many food options here which I had got some wings the last time I was here and the wings were fire. They were juicy and had the right amount of sauce on them. It's really easy to find your seats and if you can't the ushers are very nice and will help you out. I have sat in many different locations in the Fieldhouse and pretty much there is really no bad seat in there. read more

The Gainbridge Fieldhouse is the home of the Indiana Pacers and the Indiana Fever. My husband and I went there to watch an Indiana Pacers basketball game. The Pacers beat the Miami Heat despite being the worst team in the league. The advantage was that the tickets only cost $20 a piece. The building is pretty new but the seats are very small. Tall people don't fit in the seats at all. I had no leg room at my seat. The prices are outrageous. Beer cost $15 and a small cookie cost $5. Despite these challenges we still had a good time. read more

Let's go Pacers!!! I hadn't been to a game in about a decade. They've made a ton of upgrades to keep this as the top arena in the NBA. In the wintertime there is now an ice rink next to the arena. Tons of Pacers stuff all throughout the arena. The game we went to vs the Celtics the day after Christmas was packed. The Pacers lost, but it's always great to catch a game here. The scoreboard and jumbo tron are huge now. Always a great time! read more

I feel like I'm at Gainbridge for some kind of cool event just about every other month now, because they have tons of cool stuff going on. Between the basketball games (Yes Cers! Fever Rising!) and other shows, there's always something going on and I have a great time with it. There's a lot of options for food and I've always had my food come out quickly. The Fieldhouse Favorites will cover your bases on the classics. Ben's Pretzels offers carbs galore. A recent fave of mine is The Shake Bar, a Steak 'n Shake brand that specializes in luscious, over-the-top milkshakes. I love to get the Oreo shake as a treat for my game or showtime experience. Some other tidbits - you're allowed to bring in a clear water bottle that's either factory sealed, or an empty reusable to fill up at a fountain. Another alternative is the DD program, where you can get a free soda with a voucher from guest services. You can't purchase any alcohol after that point because you get a wristband that would indicate as such. But if you're looking to stay sober for the evening, this is a great perk! read more

I went to the last game of the year. I truly enjoy going to Bainbridge. The security is quick and they always have plenty of lanes open to check my tickets. Staff is always helpful and friendly. I do feel like the drinks are way overpriced. I purchased two alcoholic beverages and it was $72. They were double shots, so maybe that was the reason. I sat in section 1 row 7. read more

Game/event: Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky (9/5/25) This is where the Indiana Fever and the Indiana Pacers play. I was a tourist from out of town (from Los Angeles) and planning my trip to Indianapolis, I thought to myself - "I'm going to the Hoosier State. I'm definitely going to have to go to a basketball game!" This trip was part of my quest to go to all NFL stadiums. I saw that this game was at home on a same weekend the Colts were playing and on paper, it could have been a an epic matchup for a casual fan like me lol. Sadly neither Caitlyn Clark nor Angel Reese were playing. Not a huge deal. It was really fun to check out this arena. You can tell the city really loves their team (Fever). The atmosphere was electric. The arena was clean and navigation and finding the team store was easy. In terms of concessions, I've already made a dinner reservation for after the game and I've eaten a lot prior, so food was on the last thing on my mind during this visit. But I took a walk around and the line seemed organized and nothing seemed like it would be hard to purchase. Logistics: getting here was super easy. Like surprisingly easy but maybe I'm just so used to help stress inducing getting to Staples (or Crypto in LA) is. The walk up, the security check, and finding your seat were all very easy here. Heck, I even got a hi-five from one of the ladies at security as she told me to enjoy the game Parking: I may have gotten really lucky and inadvertently found a parking hack three blocks away. I pulled over because I saw an empty area. I was looking for signs on how to pay and how long I can park there. A local pulled up behind me, parked, and let me know that there are no signs and it should be free and she got never got ticketed parking there for a Fever game (her group were on the way to the game as well. read more

There's a huge variety of food, plus family friendly activities to keep everyone entertained. Very nice well done! Everything from the suites to the parking garage is top notch! The walkway from the parking garage to the arena is a game changer. I wish that all arenas thought about guests navigating safely from their car to the facility like this. Suites were well appointed with comfortable accommodations and excellent service staff. I went to the pacer game today with my hubby against the Wizards. Thanks to Kiara for the free tix! Today was brutally cold, so I was dropped off at the front. They have a parking garage that has an attached bridge to walk over, but it's expensive (not sure how much because we haven't parked there in a long time) and we try to save some money parking else where. After going through the metal detectors, I waited for him before entering. I really liked the LED screen in the front and the Christmas tree, great spot for pics. This area was freezing, and I was so uncomfortable! We came a little after the game start time, so it wasn't as busy to get in. The guy that scanned the tickets was friendly. My husband wanted a beer, so we checked out the vendors on the main floor. The grab and go on the main floor requires you to pay before you enter, so we decided to just head up to our seats in the balcony section and check out what's up there. On this floor, the grab and go spots for a drink doesn't require to pay first. He purchased a can of modelo for $10. Someone was in our seats, so I kindly said something and they moved. There were a ton of open seats around. We were in section 209, row 9, and I felt the air blowing directly on me causing my allergies to flare up. It was also very cold, probably because it was a lot of empty seats. I wore my heavy coat and never took it off. We purchased some items from a vendor in the balcony area: Fries with seasoning - $5 Pizza - $9 Popcorn - $5 Small Drink - $5 Everything was good, price of course is expensive but to be expected being at a game and this facility. All of Gainsbridge is cashless. Pacers didn't play very well and unfortunately lost to the wizards. read more

This is a great venue in downtown Indianapolis for so many things. It's the home of the Pacers and the fever. In addition they do a number of college games here and concerts. Comedy shows, and conventions. Nothing seems too far away even if you're up in the upper levels, it's really not a terribly long distance to the floor. Huge screens throughout the stadium to see what's going on if you need them. We are here for a comedy show and we are in the upper first level and have a direct line of sight to the stage in the middle and know that it's gonna be a great location. So so many community and statewide events, it's really a great addition to the downtown. Huge walkways around the building with lots of different options for concessions, Chick-fil-A Shake shack as well as your standard drinks cookies popcorn, pretzels. Anything you could want they have. A number of open bars that you can sit at and just enjoy the time here. Entry process is pretty easy. You go through some gates and then up the stairs or down the stairs to your particular level and section. They move a lot of people very quickly. There is a parking garage connect directly with it through a walkway so you don't have to go outside even when it's cold or hot out, very convenient. All of the ushers have been very friendly and helpful all the way through the process and made sure that we got where we needed to with no troubles. read more

I attended a Fever game on 6/26/25 while still recovering from an auto accident and being in a wheelchair and using a walker. The field house staff was more than accommodating in helping me with my limited mobility. At halftime, the ushers and support staff held back the general public in order for me to gain access to and use a restroom that was not available to the public. I was allowed to use a restroom very near the Fever player's locker room on the floor level in the main hallway. I thought that was cool because I saw some of the players and Coach Stefanie White with her assistants return to the court near the end of halftime. After the game, one of the staff gentlemen pushed me in my wheelchair from the floor level, into an elevator, then out to the main level. Instead of turning over the wheelchair to my loved ones, he continued to wheel me out of the field house, down the ramp and out to the sidewalk. He could have turned over the wheelchair to my loved ones again but chose to help up find my cousin who was trying to pick us up but struggling due to changing traffic patterns as the police were working crowd control. He stayed with us until I was safely inside my vehicle and even helped load my folded wheelchair. Many thanks to this gentleman, ushers, and all of the staff I came in contact with that helped me enjoy my first Fever game and first Gainbridge Fieldhouse experience. read more

I have gone to this venue for a few events ranging from concerts, circus acts, basketball games, volunteering opportunities, etc. signs are easy to follow, restrooms are always clean, and food is often available (but not great options in my opinion). The small bag policy is ridiculous. Overall, I generally have a good time when I attend events here. read more

Indianapolis is lucky to have Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The facility is amazing and can handle just about any event imaginable. This week we went to see "Gold Over America" starring Olympic gymnast including Simone Biles. We arrived early so we could have dinner downtown. We found incredible metered parking within a block of the Fieldhouse. Going through security is quick and painless. Staff was on hand to guide patrons to their seats. Even though the event was packed, restrooms were clean with no lines. We sat in the nosebleed section but we could see the individual gymnast fine. Getting in and out was a breeze. The new park outside has a community artsy vibe and is perfect to relax before the show. I'll keep coming back. read more

My son loves Blaze Monster Trucks so I decided to take him to see Hot Wheels Monster Trucks (I know its different). My son was smiling from ear to ear the whole show. This our first show and it was the 50th Anniversary. We all enjoyed ourselves. Tip: if your child is sensitive to noise buy some noise canceling earplugs or headphones. I went to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the first and last time, unless they fix their sound system. I was here to see Nate Bargatze, my favorite comedian of all, he's hilarious. I spent more money than I've ever spent in my life to get great seats, I love him that much, but could barely understand what he was saying because of their lousy sound system. It wasn't just me, it was all four in my party, two were in a different location. I was six rows from him and strained to hear it! I was shocked! A state of the art facility, and the sound was horrid! Very, VERY disappointed! I'd waited months to see this show and spent a ton of money! I gave three stars because it was Nate, I really give 1 star. read more

I was in town for a conference, so I decided to go to a Pacers game. It is an excellent venue.

Was passing through Indy and thought, "why not catch a Pacers game?" I'm so glad we did! Gainbridge is a great facility. Easy to navigate and everyone we ran into from the ticket counter to the ushers were genuinely excited about sharing the things to do and the field house with us. Pre game you can meet the cheerleaders, watch the breakdance crew, there are give aways, and free balloon animals and face painting for the kids. Plus then you get to watch an NBA game! Worse seats in the house were only $10 and really weren't too bad. All and all there's no better entertainment bang for your buck in Indy. read more

Gainbridge Fieldhouse is hands down the best venue in Indianapolis to see a game, concert, or show. It is right in the middle of downtown making it easy to make a whole night out of it with dinner or drinks nearby. The stadium looks awesome from the outside especially when it's lit up at night. The layout makes it easy to find your seat without getting lost. One of the things I noticed was how organized everything was. Whether that was the security line or getting food and drinks. The seating is comfortable and even the upper levels have great views of the floor. I love how much Gainbridge supports local vendors as well. You can grab food from Indiana based spots like HotBox Pizza or Ben's Pretzels (THE BEST) instead of just national chains. It gives the whole place a local touch, which I think makes the experience better. Everything felt clean and welcoming even when it was busy. read more

Overall I prefer indoor venues over outdoor ones. Gainbridge is a decent venue to watch concerts. The acoustics are adequate for most bands. I've been to a few concerts there over the years. The seating on the upper levels is a bit cramped with minimal leg room. Unless you have a larger frame, it is tolerable. I felt a bit of vertigo because the seating is steep. read more

I have been to a concert and a Fever game here. The security definitely sticks to the rules. They make you put your small purse in a box and if it doesn't fit they throw it away. So beware. I was in town for a conference and it so happened to coincide with game 2 of the first series with the Indiana Fever vs. Atlanta Dream. This was my first time at the stadium so didnt really have any expectations. Overall i found the layout of the Fieldhouse to be pretty cool with the outdoor plaza and the indoor lobby. I sat in section 14 for about $60 bucks a ticket and though the view to be pretty good where i could just watch the court and not the big screen to really take in the action. Seats were comfortable. As far as food options were concerned it was pretty much the typical food items you find at most stadium locations. I didnt necessarily see anything unique. I did like the various free things around the stadium including the Cheez-it table where you could grab snacks and the free had area where you could customize your own hat with a press on patch. Overall the stadium was easy to get to and within walking distance of my hotel near the convention center. I know driving and parking can be a pain in the area which i did experience coming from the airport to my hotel within the first hr of the colts came finishing up against the broncos. traffic was a mess with so many roads blocked off. Not sure if this is necessarily a big issue for Fever games. read more

THERE WAS HEARTBREAK TONIGHT. First, let me preface this review by saying that I've seen the Eagles many MANY times since I first saw them in 1977 as a young teen. I've seen THIS tour three times now--NYC, Denver, and now here in Indianapolis. I saw the Hotel California tour all over the US and Canada. For this particular trip, I paid almost $700 for my seat, $400 for two nights hotel and over $500 in air fare from my home in California. My love for this band is serious stuff. And there was a heartbreak tonight. This venue (rather, the way it was managed) was the worst. I always get a floor seat. I love the energy. We get up, we dance, we sit back down. It's fun. If you sit there, you expect it. You do not expect that everyone will remain seated the entire time. But here at Gainbridge Fieldhouse NO STANDING was allowed on the floor and they were FIERCE at enforcing it. You couldn't stand and applaud. You couldn't get up and dance. You had to REMAIN SEATED the entire time. If you're an Eagles fan, imagine NOT being able to stand and applaud after Seven Bridges Road (love it so much it makes me cry!). or stand up and dance during Life in the Fast Lane--NOT EVEN FUNK #49! Last week in Denver this was NOT the case. It was not the case at Madison Square Garden a few weeks ago. It was not the case at the Hotel California tour before OR after Covid, nor at *ANY* Eagles concert I've EVER been to. ANYWHERE. Don't get me wrong--I don't think anyone needs to stand the entire time. And for the most part, people DO sit down during ballads and slower songs. (Perhaps send security after those few who MIGHT remain standing during those times?) But let us have the SAME fun we've been having for decades on the floor. At Eagles concerts and virtually every other rock concert. Simply put, floor seats are TERRIBLE if you want to sit the whole time--if this is your policy, they need to be on a slant. The picture I've attached was my view this evening. I could not see the band when seated, other than on the video screens which made my neck hurt after a while (and images were somewhat obscured by a lighting fixture) I had a HUGE investment into this evening, only to leave, well...heartbroken. I flew here from CALIFORNIA. Management needs to realize that people don't want to sit on their hands at concerts, and should be allowed to have the fun that they paid a premium for! read more
