Soft guitar music playing while all the beautiful foliage surrounds all the various kiosks. Like something out of Pinterest. I feel like the photos don't do the actual experience justice. Overall, I thought the stalls were decently priced and we bought a lot of items ranging from fresh beets, garlic, mixed greens, to fresh cheese, and mushrooms. Apart from food and produce they sell yarn that comes from the wool of local sheep. I saw a distillery stall where they were handing out samples - it had quite the line. A stall that sold dry teas and infused syrups (I bought one actually) Maple syrup, soaps, I could go on. There's a booth for those who use Hip and apparently from $10 you get $30 to spend so it's a place where even those on a low budget can come and take advantage. Then there's the food which, you should definitely try. It was our first time trying food from Afghanistan and it was incredible. They were like these dumplings filled with either meat or squash, we chose the squash, and then it had lentils on top and a rich yogurt sauce that was absolutely phenomenal. I mean, honestly, it was a great experience, and the place itself is so beautiful, it's no wonder that there's lines of cars parked and others waiting to find parking. That's the only drawback, finding parking is gonna be rough, but when you do, ohhh the goodies that await you! I honestly wish I lived here, I'd be at this farmers market every Saturday.

Well organized, easy to get in/out, minimal need for walking, and very little mud on one's feet. We pick blueberries each summer, multiple times per season. We have picked peaches in summer 1-2 times, and have picked apples in the fall a few times. Each time it's a great experience. The apple picking gets crowded, but never crazy. We've never had an experience where we were sent to pick in a section that had been picked over and had little fruit. Each time it's a great experience, both for adults and children. Well organized traffic, parking, checkout, bags/buckets. I can't recall a time I felt like things were crazy or disorganized. Prices are fair. The big bonus of course are the treats that they bake up: apple cider doughnuts, pastries, everything I've ever had has been amazing. Makes me want to move in and work there, it's just so wonderful. They're cheeses are all a must alongside their breakfast sausages and Italian sausage. Full of great flavor and incredibly lean with all the great taste. The rest of the store is stocked with pasta, sauces, breads, local goods, chocolate, ice cream and granola. They have a small gift shop attached to the barn with a padlock on the door. I knocked on the farmhouse and was advised that the padlock isn't locked, and that the shop is self service. I love Vermont. There is no debit or credit card machine, so be prepared with cash. I had just enough on hand. They sell various sized containers of this years maple syrup batch, as well as fresh eggs from their chickens. The honor system is in full effect, so act appropriately. I grew up down the road from here, so supporting a local farm is very important to me. I can't wait to share the tubs of maple syrup with friends and family. PS - it's less expensive to buy it here too, rather than going to the store, but the Guilford Store accepts debit and credit cards if you don't have cash and it's the same farm product.

A big grassy field that you can easily sit down in. Live music on the band stand. Quite a few trees that provide shade for those hot days.

We are staying at a resort about 10mins out of town and have a full kitchen, so our goal was to get things to make for dinner. We found a local meat provayor and some local baked breads and deserts. There was. Family bluegrass band playing on the bandstand. Plenty of nice locals greater us and were extremely friendly. It was a great place to spend and hour or so just enjoying the nice Vermont day and relaxing.
