We were so lucky to have found Marc and Gia for our civil ceremony/wedding photographer! My husband and I wanted a simple City Hall ceremony for our family, and while we had many great referrals for a "full" wedding photographer, we didn't want to spend a crazy amount without compromising quality. I was lucky to have found Gala via a Google search, and Marc quickly got in touch with me once I emailed him. Communication was spotless throughout the months leading up to our ceremony, and I loved and appreciated that Marc called me prior to get an idea of what kind of style we wanted, and what our personalities were like. It's these kind of gestures that shows that Marc and Gia really care about their clients, rather than a simple business transaction. Aside from amazing photography, Marc and Gia were an absolute lifesaver during our ceremony. I had done my research on the typical process at City Hall, but we ran into some unexpected delays and Marc and Gia were extremely helpful in guiding us around and making sure we got to the right office at City Hall and signed the right documents. Because they have photographed so many sessions at City Hall, Marc was also able to help us ask the judge for a more private area for our ceremony so that the elderly grandparents could sit down instead of stand around. Although our session was supposed to be for 2 hours, combined with the waiting time and getting signed in, Marc & Gia actually ended up spending around 4 hours with us at City Hall. Once we were done with our session, we were planning to take an Uber back home. When Marc & Gia found out, they very kindly drove us back home since they happened to be heading in the same direction. We got our edited photos (400+!) back within 2 weeks after the ceremony despite Marc & Gia being very busy with other weddings and Labor Day, which we were gladly expecting to wait up to a month. In addition to photography, Marc and Gia also does videography services. I almost wish we had done a full-blown wedding so that we could've used their services for every aspect of our wedding! They are such great people, and made our entire civil ceremony so easy and enjoyable. I contacted One Production Haus after looking far and wide for a photographer who would meet my budget for my court wedding ceremony at SF City Hall. Right after I reached out via email to request a quote I received a call from Marc, the owner, almost immediately and he called to see what my needs were, what my budget was, and he described the services that he and his team offer. I found him on yelp 7 months before my wedding, and was stunned by the amazing reviews he got. Let me just say he deserves all of those 5-star reviews. He replied immediately when I reached out to him on yelp, and quoted me an incredible price for an 8-hour package. When I asked if he could customize the package to an 10-hour one, he came up with one fast. We had a chat over the phone, and his attitude was just so thorough and kind. My husband and I knew right from that phone call that we wanted him as our photographer. Fast forward to two months before the wedding. We wanted to take pre-ceremony pictures at San Francisco's city hall, but our ceremony was being held in Gilroy, so doing both in the same day would be incredibly stressful, if not impossible. In a panic, we emailed him and asked if there was any way we could split our pre-ceremony pictures to a different day (3 hours one day, 7 hours the other), and to our surprise and gratefulness, Marc made it happen! With no extra charge or anything! This is during a time where I know he must be busy, because our wedding was smack in the middle of Christmas and New Years. Throughout the pre-ceremony and day of wedding picture taking, he was just so flexible, and got along with all of our guests (even my hard to please parents). He was respectful, but at the same time made sure that my husband's and my wishes were met first (I didn't want too many phone photographers taking up too much time, and he managed to convey that perfectly to them so that I didn't have to be such a bridezilla). My husband and I booked Gala Photo and Films for our November 2019 wedding and they were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! Their photography and videography skills are abundantly evident in their work and I was immediately drawn in by the naturalness of their photos and use of light. I hired Marc for Baby shower photography. Even though the event got cancelled, I still would like to give him top most ratings because of his willingness to work with the customer. He was super nice and accommodative. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the event 1 day prior to the actual date, he still promised me to refund my whole amount, even though he has no-refund policy.
