I highly recommend Herve at TerrificShot Studio if you are in need of professional headshots. After getting licensed in my profession, I decided it was time to get some professional headshots to add to my career profiles and websites. Scheduling an appointment is super easy - simply book online. The headshot appointments are only 30 minutes long. Once booking, you are sent confirmation with some recommendation for outfits/colors to wear - although certainly pick whatever style you would like. There is a small lot in the front of the studio. Herve is very friendly, easy to talk with, and ensures that you get the shot you are looking for. Herve took about 40 different shots in a span of 20 minutes with three different colored backdrops (grey, blue, and white). He helped me to pose, corrected my hair as needed, and was an expert in searching for symmetry. Since I was wearing glasses, Herve was careful about capturing the photos to prevent glare, although he is able to edit all the glare after selection. After taking the photos, Herve showed me all 40 of them. Payment was through credit card and then Herve sent me the full gallery about 15 minutes later to see. After looking through them, I selected the one I wanted and Herve then used his editing magic to ensure there were no hair flyaways or glare on my glasses. He sent the edited photo back to me and ensured that it was satisfactory. Although I had no expectations as to how fast it would be finished, and Herve said he would get it to me within the next day, I got my professional headshot about 4 hours after my shoot! The photos are flawless, clean, crisp, and professional. Whether it's 1 photo, 5 photos, or more, Herve will work with you to get the photos you need and really cares that you love your photo(s). Herve is great to work with! The TerrificShot website has an easy online scheduling menu, so I could make a last-minute appointment (literally booked a few hours beforehand). A nice bonus is that once I booked, there was a blurb with advice on best items to wear to optimize my headshot, pre-arrival. One thing I needed was a studio environment (with backdrop and lighting) as I wanted to be able to use this professional shot in versatile settings later. Herve has a studio with everything needed to get the "best" shot, and he patiently took (and retook) multiple angles + backgrounds - he has default dark grey, blue, and white. He lets you preview the shots on the camera to make sure you're happy, before you leave/before post-processing. And, I loved the great communication throughout. First, Herve contacted me via text message to confirm the appointment, and even afterwards was very prompt in letting me know when he would edit the shots (the very next day , as it was already late in the evening), and even kindly responded to my emails with immediate revisions within the same hour. Had a great experience with the photoshoot! We were offered multiple backgrounds (white, blue, and grey) and Herve was wonderful at recommending ideal body positioning to capture the best photography. For example body positioning included both angles on the right and left, almost as if you were shaking someones hand. He even suggested an angle where you lean very forward, and at first didn't think this would make a great photo, but at the end turned out to be one of our favorites!
