So like most other homeowners looking for granite installers, I did my online research. I ran…read moreacross the big boys in town, you know the ones often referred to you by the granite warehouses. We even had a couple come to our house for estimates. Both were more interested in telling me what granite I wanted and how I needed to buy from their "preferred" distributor than in listening to me and my wife. I was very unhappy with both of them and knew there had to be a better company in town. I ran across Jacksonville Countertops on both Yelp and here on Google reviews and EVERYONE had great things to say about Chris and his team. My first meeting with him went great, he was courteous and professional and gave me a price THOUSANDS less than the other installers. One had calculated that we required four slabs of granite and was charging me for 164 sq/ft. When Chris measured it, he came up with 114 sq ft and required only three slabs!! Seriously, is that that much abuse in this industry? Do they think that homeowners cant calculate square footage? Chris didn't leave my house before I agreed to hire him. His reviews were fantastic, his price was the best, and we hit it off like we had known each other for years. When he returned a few days later to take measurements, he had the latest and greatest laser measuring system. Gone are the days of the old wooden templates. I was quite impressed and immediately felt even more comfortable that I had hired the right guy. Installation went smooth, he and his crew did it all in one day with perfect fit and finish everywhere. We couldn't be happier with the service, quality and the end result. We are doing my daughters kitchen soon and without a doubt, we will be using Chris and his team. My advice: Go to Granite Depot on Phillips Hiway and choose your slabs, they have the best selection in town. Then call Chris and let him take it from there. You will not regret it!

He listens and works his magic to make sure I am absolutely happy with my slab/sink selection and his installation. His price is better than both HD and Lxxe's. Plus, I get to pick out the granite I like by looking at the actual slabs instead of a sample square. With the latest technology, Chris was able to precisely fit this L shape countertop with the sink cutout as 1 piece. Countertops came out more beautiful than I expected. I am 100% recommending Chris and his team for your countertop project.

Corbella handled our full kitchen remodel and I would highly recommend them. We found Corbella…read moreafter some internet searching and stumbled in one Saturday afternoon. We left our contact information and scheduled an appointment for measurement and free estimate. Pete (owner) and Denise (designer) arrived to check out our kitchen and discuss options. He took all the needed measurements and a week or so later we had an estimate. The estimate was right in line with what we were expecting for the remodel. We got a few estimates but I really liked the personalities of Pete and his employees and liked that it was a local business who did everything. I wouldn't need to play contractor with Corbella. It took two meetings to finalize the design and choose the cabinets, floors, fixtures, etc. paperwork was signed and a deposit made. Construction is never perfect - we had to choose a new faucet. Certain cabinets were too large so the change delayed our start by a week. But all in all, the process was good. In 2.5 weeks, the kitchen was demolished and back to a fully working state. Through various stages, the workers tried their best to minimize dust by putting up plastic sheeting. They always swept and vacuumed at the end of the day. They tried their best and it helped but construction will always have dust. Some changes were made as we went along: a vent had to be moved, a light fixture needed to change, the tile guy made a mistake but it was quickly fixed once I saw it. Normal stuff. Denise and Pete periodically check in on progress. The project manager would call me each evening to tell me who was coming and when to expect them the next day. One change was made that gave us a $600 credit - I didn't know the change would have even resulted in less labor charges but Pete and his crew are honest. This was a full gut job - appliances were moved, walls and soffits were removed, wiring and water lines were moved. But at the end of our remodel, we had a beautiful brand new kitchen. The house feels so much more open and it truly looks like a magazine. I absolutely love our finished kitchen. We're hoping to use Corbella again once we can remodel a bathroom and I have recommended them to a number of friends.

The installers showed up hours later to the job then they were supposed to. We were advised of same by the office but it's very inconvenient for people that don't work at home. Then the installers left because it started to rain and didn't finish the job. Said they "might" be back the next day and in the meantime I had no installed faucets in my house because they all had to be removed prior to install "per their contract." Besides that they left razor blades, garbage and glue all over the place. I have young children and when I got home I was horrified and I had to clean up after them. They even left garbage all over the outside. Very unprofessional. The earliest the installers could come back was two days after they started which is very unprofessional as well. You come back early the next day if you can't finish the job. Then they wanted to leave again because the mirrors in the bathroom were still installed. If you want prep work done you have to make sure it is made abundantly aware to a client prior. They kept saying it was "in the contract." Lastly, they took three of my old bathroom countertops even though I wanted them to put them in my husbands truck so we can take them to the dump and they wanted to charge me $400 for it. Apparently that is also a hidden fee "in the contract" even though I didn't ask for same. Unfortunately we will not be using their services again. I would of figured after being a repeat customer and recommending clients to use their services a manager would of called me to address our concerns, that didn't happen either. Very bad customer service

This is the place for your kitchen. Great service and craftsmanship!! 100% recommend.read more
