I purchased a 2015 Audi Q7 from Galaxy Auto Deals, at 6419 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento, on November 15, 2025. Within approximately 10 miles of driving the vehicle, from the dealership to home, I received a warning to shut the engine off due to low coolant. Upon checking, the coolant system was completely empty. I had to have the car towed the rest of the way home. The vehicle continued to lose coolant and was unsafe to drive.
I contacted Galaxy Auto Deals immediately to report the issue. I was initially told to bring the vehicle in so they could take a look. I agreed and followed up in writing, but communication stopped and I received no further response.
Due to the high cost of repairs, I was unable to drive the vehicle from November 15, 2025, the day I bought the car, until April 2, 2026, nearly five months. During that time, I had no reliable transportation, which created significant financial and personal hardship.
After exhausting my options and saving enough money, I had to pay out of pocket for extensive repairs. The final repair included replacement of the water pump, thermostat, PCV valve, crankcase breather valve, and multiple coolant pipes and hoses. The total cost exceeded $6,000.
Although the vehicle was sold "as-is," a major mechanical failure within minutes of purchase raises serious concerns. An auto dealer would have known about the issues prior to the sale; however, this vital information was not disclosed to me. I made multiple good-faith efforts to work with Galaxy to resolve the situation, but those efforts were not acknowledged or addressed.
I am sharing this so others are fully informed before making a purchase here. I strongly recommend having any vehicle from this dealership independently inspected prior to purchase, as support after the sale may not be available even in the case of immediate and significant mechanical failure and safety concerns. read more
